Though the library was quite a ways away, Conall's sensitive hearing picked up someones voice coming from the front door. It was incredibly faint and he had no idea what the person had said. For a moment, Conall considered just letting it go and letting someone else handle it, but ultimately decided to lend a helping hand.
After he quickly found the place in which the book he grabbed belonged, he began to make his way to the front door of the school to see what who ever was there needed. He hurried to the front door with a quick walk and before long was at his destination. He adjusted his jacket and opened the door to peer at Cai. "Can I help you?"

"Yeah, I'd like to get in, and preferably find someone who can tell me where my room is or something. I got here a bit...later than anticipated, as you can probably tell."

Yep, no shock, no questions, though Cai did give the wolf-man a weird look at first. Yes he'd never seen somebody like that before, but seeing as he could do what he could, seeing something like this wasn't as much of a surprise as it could have been. Besides, unless that was just a costume it meant there was more to this school than he had thought, which made him wonder just how much his parents had known before they died.

"By the way, I'm Cai. Nice to meet you."

Despite any worries normal people might have about claws, Cai put out his hand to offer a handshake to the wolf-man. If people like this were going to be around then he might as well try to be friendly after all.

Conall reached out and took Cai's hand, giving a firm handshake. "Nice to meet you as well. My names Conall." He then released his hand and opened the door fully to allow Cai in.
"I'm pretty new here but maybe I can help you find your room." Conall offered as his eyes scanned over the newcomer.

His handshake had been firm in return, and once the door was opened, Cai and his bag would be inside the huge lobby. Cai was looking more than impressed at the set-up here. It wasn't often the lobby to a school looked like it belonged in a 5 star hotel, after all.

Anyways, to Conall's eyes, and nose and ears to that matter, Cai would just seem completely normal. Not that it was every day a supposedly normal person took seeing a large bipedal wolf without blinking, but beyond that, nothing to hint at anything beyond the ordinary.

"Helping would be appreciated, but I don't even have a room key. Geez this place is big, though. I think you could fit where I'd lived before just in this lobby, easily."

"This place is pretty amazing" Conall agreed. He then stuffed his hands into his pockets and with a sigh, along with a `hmm` began to think of how he could help Cai. "No key huh..." Conall said to himself, "Well, you can always go to the main office and they should be able to help you. Or if your lucky, find the headmaster and talk to her." Those were about the only options Conall could think of to assist, none of which he could help with either.

Teddy blushed compltely this time, staring down at her feet as they scuffed the ground somewhat loosely. She wasn't used to feeling so embarrased and it was unerving her. Unable to think of anything else, she just shrugged.

"At this time of night? I'd probably be lucky if anyone in the administration was still awake. Guess I'll just have to camp out here until morning, and then find someone."

Not his preferred solution, but he couldn't even phase into his room if he didn't know which room it was. Plus, if any roommate he might have was still awake he didn't want to let them in on his little secret. Still, since Conall was here, there was at least one question he could ask...

"What kind of place is this anyways? I had thought it was supposed to just be a school for smart kids, but looking at you there seems to be a bit more to that."

Logan just smiled and turned around.
"Shall we continue?" he said as he began walking in the same direction he had been before. He hadn't meant to embarrass the girl, just try to help her understand her own feelings. And possibly those of her parents.
He didn't always enjoy being the 'adult type'. He felt like the students didn't like him for it.
"Let's see...where else is there?" he asked aloud, more to himself than to Teddy.
He glanced down the hall and changed the direction he was walking in.
"I'll show you the hot springs and the pool then," he finally decided. "It's down this way, a bit off from the edge of the school."

The cafeteria wasn't open so she had went in search of a vending machine, and it came in success. However. "Dammit I got no money!' Victoria yelled kicking the box. "Graah!! Gimme some food!' She yelled shaking the thing and stopped feeling the weight shift onto her. Soon pressure was on her while she herself was on her knees and bedning dangerously far back. Death by vending machine, she thought it as a myth. "Nnng..." She slowly tried to move to the side and continued until she let go the vending machine landing with a rather loud thud. She unplugged it and started to flip it over, another loud 'thud' echoing across the hallway.

"Alright...lets see..." She analyzed the sides realizing she'd need a key. "Mwaha!" She took the paperclip from her sleep and stuck it in the lock. She paused. "I could get in serious trouble for this." She thought aloud. "I could get expelled, suspended...thrown into the street." She thought a moment before picking the lock furiously. She wanted food!

Akido had tried to sleep after hanging out with Marcus for so long but her kind didn't need much sleep and she had too much energy. Heading into the cafeteria she walked around into the employee part disappearing before coming back out with a tray of steak and french fries. The cafeteria was 24 hr, you just had to know where to look for people. Same with the lobby and the keys. Just needed to know where to look. Rubbing her eyes groggily being around humans so much was starting to make her sleepy. Setting her tray down she didn't notice all the noise, human racket and machines sounded much the same to her so closing her eyes she didn't bother trying to keep it to a human speed she just moved naturally at a speed where one would think she had teleported if not for the faint wind. It wasn't her fastest but she was being lazy. Pulling a dollar out of her pocket she wrung it out before stuffing it into one of the remaining machines pressing the button for a brownie. It would make her sick as hell later but it would be good. If she started feeling to bad perhaps she would find Logan see if his power could help since he was an outside source.

"I couldn't honestly tell you, so far I haven't seen any evidence of any other special people. From what it seems, most of the people here are human." Conall leaned up against the nearest wall, his hands still stuffed into his pockets.
Conall was beginning to feel a bit hungry, he decided it was time to rid himself of that. "Well, I'm going to head down to the cafeteria. Guess I'll see you around Cai." Conall was ready to just turn and leave, when a thought occurred. He grabbed his room key from within his pocket, "Hey, you don't have to camp out in the lobby..." Conall tossed him his room key, "Just borrow my room for the night. Room 7..." With that, Conall turned and began to make his way to the cafeteria.

Lisa woke up to the sound of her brain going high-wire, so many people were here and she really didn't remember buying a vending machine, but then again Lucas could have. She pulled a black silk nightgown around her and tied it while she walked out the door. She saw a wolfman walking away and a very confused looking person, "Conall, that was very generous but un-needed. If you ever need something just knock on my door or go get my daughter, Kat." She walked over to the confused person, "You must be Cai. It's nice to meet you, I'm Lisa Black one of the two owners of the school for the gifted." She opened the office door and fiddled with some keys before handing him one, "Here you go your rooming with... oh, my daughter Katerina Dark. Your room number is one, don't mind her nor her mess most likely. Make yourself comfortable and I'll catch up with you in the morning."

She didn't really give him much time to respond as she had to go catch the other new student. Walking off towards the cafeteria she passed Conall with ease considering she was walking so fast she was almost running. When she got there she saw Victoria trying to pick open the vending machine, "Well at least you have a skill, Victoria ask the lunch ladies. Their mutants who can't sleep and will produce any food you ask of them, no matter what. They have that power." She walked over to the ladies, "Hows about a hot choco and a slice of pizza, ham and pineapple."

The lady put the pizza on a plate which Lisa left behind and took the cup with her. She made her way out to the lobby again where she signalled the steps, "Follow them to the dooms." She sat in the lobby, crossed her legs and started to eat the pizza, "Hmm this is good for a late-night snack."

Kat was once again woken up but this time it was her mother's voice saying her name. She's always had this thing where her mother says her name and she will wake up no matter what. Walking out the bedroom door she leaned over the banister, "Mum shut up. I'm trying to sleep and your annoying voice is bugging me." She stormed back in to her room and got back under the covers where she attempted to fall asleep with no avail.

Eve wailed at Damian's words, "I used to pull my mum's hair!!!" She stopped when she finally processed all his words and looked over at him under her arm, "Really you think Cally was okay with it?" She sat up and almost jumped the whole way back over to Damian where she hugged him, smiling as big as she could, "Thank you!" She let go again and went back over to her bed, "Do you think we should go to sleep?"

Luna smiled, "Well you can go back to sleep but if I'm bothering you I can leave ya know." Sighing she stood up, "It gets so boring not being able to sleep during the night, I think I'm going to go to their video game room and play some thing." She'd found out about it by a map that was in the office from when she first came here, "Get some rest Cole."

Victroria's eyes watched the woman and her ears told the brain the woman was talking, but whatever she was saying wasn't good for her. To prove her point her face actually paled and she removed the paperclip placing it back on her sleeve. I should've thought of that...but no one was around. She sighed taking the pizza and nodding a thanks. I'm going to be expelled aren't I? High class school, low class student...I knew it. Well...dinner seemed less important now. What seemed important was her teling her father how she got expelled before she even attended class. She checked her watch. It was still late but she was wide awake. Community service if she was lucky? Slowly she followed the steps back to the dorms munching in her now depressed state of mind.

Well, that was...interesting. And apparently not only were dorms mixed gender, but he was rooming with the owners daughter. It could have just been a coincidence, and it likely was, but...the lawyer had said his parents had known the founders. That'd have to be figured out later, he supposed.

Well at least, from the glimpse he'd gotten from over the banister, his roommate was hot. Anyways, after the whirlwind that was the owner had left, Cai would blink some and then toss Conall's key back to him.

"Looks like this wasn't needed, but thanks. I'll see you tomorrow."

Seemed like Conall needed a friend here after all, and it might be nice to actually have one for once. and despite his appearance, Conall had been nothing but friendly and helpful, so therefore the fact that he was a wolf-man didn't matter all that much. Anyways. With his key in hand, Cai would head upstairs, find the room the girl had come out of which conveniently said 1, unlocked the door, and walked in quietly.

If Katerina was trying to sleep, he wouldn't bother her. Instead he would simple lock the door behind him, set his bag down by the unoccupied bed while trying not to gawk at the size of it...and unless Katerina said something he would be lying down to sleep. No reason to disturb her right now, after all.
