Fairy~Nuff Niede The Silver Horde? From Discworld, it's the name of a group of old Barbarians.
I love Discworld books!
I think I may have been nanny Ogg in a previous life! xd Same here, love the series, and it was the only thing I could think of.

and what's Discworld? I'm a pretty avid fantasy reader, but I haven't heard of it.

It's flat, and held on the backs of four elephants, the elephants are standing on a turtle. It's a series of books, and they are very funny. The best part of Discworld is you don't have to read them in any order. You can pick up any of them, and enjoy it.

charamath Outchast, you need to make me a list of what the heck my computer needs. It's decent right now, but not great. I have no clue what's in it, though, because Jeff interchanged so much stuff....
Char, if your pc is decent now, then you just need to add some RAM, maybe 1GB will be just fine...if you already have 1 GB + of RAM, then maybe changing procesor would do good too...ummm, no specific name or generation really...but maybe a dual core would do just fine, but if that's not at hand...get one that can be, like, 3 GHz...that'll really speed things up...
with a 2.5 GHz is nice already!
um...esle than that, you could try cooling system with more fans or directly integrate a cooling system right in top of procesor...
a graphics card is necesary too...get one that has at least 256 MB DDR2, at least...! And if you can, from a later generation than Nvidia Ge-force 5200...
if you have a good graphics card, well then...you'd need something else.! lol
but go in order..
RAM 1st, if not go for graphics card, if not go for procesor...(by "if not" i mean that you already have something good)
and that's the basic, that's about it....
If someone knows more, please speak up, i have limited ammount of knowledge of this! lol

I have 1GB of ram, and 2 GHz. My processor is...a AMD Athlon....(I'm just listing what I'm finding under 'my computer' here)...and my graphics card is a Radeon X1600. Does that help?

About how long were the books? I'm thinking that may have something to do with it. I haven't touched a book with less then 350 pages since the fourth grade.
