@ Mock: rofl Hahahaha! Good use of resources! ^.^
I tried to tune an E key on my piano once, but all I did is make it sound even lower than the note below it as well as out of tune -_-; I guess you do need the equipment for piano strings...
Random Fact #6: The US has more bagpipe bands than Scotland does ^.^

@Hishida: I play guitar the most, but I've played on a 6 string, 7 string, and 12 string guitar (acoustic and electric); bass; cello; mandolin; ukulele (of sorts, not the actual thing); and I've tried the violin, but I've failed miserably at it - so after 5 min I gave up. Violin is my nemesis now, because it's the only stringed instrument that I've tried to play and failed.
Random Fact #8: A goldfish has a memory span of three seconds.
P.S.: Guys, your Captain is fighting the Captain Commander herself and no one is rooting for me??? Even the poll says I'll be nommed! XP C'mon, at least vote in there! X3

Random Fact #11: In 1998, Sony accidently sold 700 thousand camcorders that could see through people's clothes >.<
@ Mock: I thought they did a study and proved that goldfish could actually remember stuff for up to 23 seconds? (No idea where I heard that from...) I failed at violin too. I wasn't actually that bad at it (I managed to get a merit up until grade 3 without ever even practising, which I find a miracle O.O), but it killed my arms to hold the instrument and bow up for the duration of the lesson/exam crying So I quit. I'm so glad I quit now, because I never really liked it anyways.
Wow, you guys all play so many instruments. I play only piano, and a minuscule amount of violin, recorder and I can play C on flute ^.^
@ Disturbing Tale Teller: It must be so much easier to recognise perfect fifths and diminished sevenths with perfect pitch- I actually fail at recognising chord progressions, etc.
I have no idea why, but I miraculously got better at music in the space of about a month when I was 12 years old O.O Before that, up until grade 6, I got "pass" only in every exam- but when I took grade 7, I got distinction-?!?!

Oh yeah. Being able to hear the differences in things is so nice, once I've got my ears trained to what I want them to hear.
I get to go through all the scales and chords and stuff when I get into my music major stuff... I've still got a bit until I get to start on those fun (and a bit boring music theory stuff) classes, but I've done a theory class in high school, and it was definitely interesting hearing all the differences and watching people go 'wha?'
