The waiter gave a brief 'Whoa!' when pulled back by his shirt, but quickly pulled out a small notepad and jotted down Emma's order. Amusement was evident on his face as he laughed loudly, and almost obnoxiously, as he turned toward Connor. "Alrighty. The usual for you?" At Connor's nod, the waiter spun on his heel and went off to give the orders to the cook.

While Emma impatiently waited for her meal, she looked over at Connor and gave him a smile. "Thank you for everything," she mouthed with a blush as she gripped onto his hands harder.

Connor tilted his head to the right slightly and allowed an eyebrow to raise curiously. "I'm the one that should be thanking you." He wasn't aware what he'd done to be thanked for, since he believed that he owed his life to Emma. She'd brought him back his life, his spirit. Without her, he'd still be the broken shell of a man he'd been for so long.

Reverting back to the sappy lover that she was, she mouthed I love you before smiling at him and looking down at her lap. A thought all of a sudden came into her mind, When am I going to get my food....

Connor squeezed Emma's hands loving and responded in a soft tone. "I love you too." A gentle smile was nestled upon his lips. As if on cue with Emma's thoughts, the waiter returned with their food. "Here you two lovebirds go." A grin was on the man's face as he laughed heartily, setting down their plates in front of them. Connor nodded his thanks and gazed down at his food hungrily as the waiter took his leave. The plate in front of him was a considerably large steak; rare and bleeding.

Emma silently squealed as she looked upon the food as if it were the holy grail. Immediately, she picked up a rib and began devouring it as if she were some kind of animal. So good! she thought as comical tears poured out of her eyes while she licked the tips of her fingers. She picked up her fork with her already sticky hands and dug into the mashed potatoes, nearly beginning to bawl from the amazing taste. Thank you lord for this damn good food! she thanked while she continued to eat.

Connor gripped the steak before him by his bare hands and wolfed it down in very large bites. At any other restaraunt, the other occupants would've most likely stared in disgust and even in fear at the rivets of blood that trickled down his chin. All the while, Connor kept his gaze upon Emma in amusement.

Emma momentarily looked up from her half eaten meal to look at Connor to find that he was looking at her as well. She gave him a barbecue lipped smile before giggling at the thought of what they both must have looked like. We probably look like a cave man and woman... she thought as she continued to giggle. She licked her lips to get the barbecue sauce off (not knowing that there was still a bunch of sauce on her cheeks) and continued to devour the baby back ribs in front of her.

Connor grinned widely, unaware of his revealed teeth slathered in blood. Cute. Shaking his head side to side briefly, he went back to devouring his steak and had finished it within minutes. He grabbed a paper napkin beside his plate and wiped away the blood that had since begun drying on his chin, returning an amused stare to Emma.

Emma finally finished her meal, leaving a plate full of clean bones and decorative leaves. She rested her back against the seat and closed her eyes momentarily, feeling sleepy after she stuffed herself with food, but after a few moments, she opened up her eyes again with reluctance. Feeling the sticky sauce on her cheeks, she grabbed a napkin to wipe it off as she glanced at Connor. "What?" she questioned as she noticed his gaze on her.

Connor simply shook his head once again and chuckled softly. Still wearing the same grin, he leaned back as well. "Y'er just too cute, y'know that?" He rested his forearms on the table top and laughed yet again.

Emma cocked her head to the side as she furrowed her eyebrows and gave him a curious gaze. "And what would bring you to that conclusion?" she questioned as she lied back in her seat again.

Connor blinked and opened his mouth to respond, but quickly slammed it back shut with a resounding click when he realized that he had no concrete answers. "You just are."
[[SO SORRY. D: Hurricane Ike just pummeled us. We've been without power since Saturday and I've been at my dads house. There's power at my house but I currently have no way to get there. So I might not be on again for another few days, even a week. I'm at a Starbucks right now.]]
