maybe it's just 'cause i'm a sucker for alice in wonderland stuff 'cause i'm in love with the book, but i liked the movie. to be honest, i'm not sure it lived up to my hopes, but i had some high expectations. i liked the character alice, though. she certainly fit the qualification.
it reminded me of wizard of oz at the end, though, when she had to say good-bye to the characters that kind of resembled people she knew in real-life and stuff.
i think we paid $7 or something. i'm not sure. we didn't see it in 3-D though.

The book wasnt as epic as everyone makes it out to be, but i appreciated all the references to it!
that's cuz i got the tickets early and its a couple bucks extra. i hate that 3D and XD stuff. waste of money, if you ask me.
my family is currently watching it in XD. wonder what they'll think.....

I'm pretty excited to see that movie : D Love Alice in Wonderland! And Helena Bonhan-Carter is AMAZING, along with Johnny. Anne is a pretty great actress as well.
[I'm actually in an Alice in Wonderland onexone RP right now, we have like 5 charries each. lol. it's crazy.]
My bf made me promise I'd see it with him first, because he wants to see my reaction. Then I also get to go see it with my female cousins, and we're going to bring cocoa puffs.

Orly? Booness. The end makes it or breaks it. There are several anime seriese that are kind of meh, but the end is loke AWESOOOMMMEEE! So that makes them great. The end is the most important part. D= How dare they neglect it! =o

@cap'n: o: i looove your avatar! it's like that unicorn attack game! -yay-
@everyone else: well. nothing is happening in my life that gives me a good excuse to be not as active as i once was, other than the fact that for some reason, i'm not as attracted to the computer as i once was. well, that and the fact that no one ever emails me, and most the time i'm not feeling so social and rather sit in my room and read. :/

He doesn't care about his online friends. Lame ness ness ness. =o
Yeah, the second I saw the new (I think) unicorn thing, I was all, "Hay, they stole that from teh game, I bet! =D"
Well, sitting in your room and reading is nice. I used to be a lot more attracted to the computer as well, but nao I avoid it if I'm on a break or something. I've even avoided coming online on days when I simply didn't have any schoolwork XDD!
So I suppose I understand Charles/Centronias/Cap N' Dee. Hay, all of those start wiff C. =o I just noticed, so if you've known that forever, excuse me for being slow. =D

So, I never post here, and I just learned that, statistically, Native Americans are more likely to enlist in the US military than members of any other ethnic group. No ethnic group in this nation has a larger percent of it's population enlist.

It's interesting how everyone thinks so highly of their eighteenth birthday. Like, when I turned eighteen, everyone was all "Wao, do you feel different!?" No. No I don't. I am one day older than I was yesterday. Um . . . yay? I don't think the feeling is bount to change any time soon with some other epic "age gap."
@ Major: Orly? Most interesting! =D Do you have specific statistics for different tribes? Because, statistically, Native Americans own casinos. Cept Navajos don't own casinos because they're awesome like that. =o Also, is the statistic based off of the fact that 99.9999% of everybody has some Cherokee Indian in them. So, it could be going "Oh, everybody has Cherokee, sooo Cherokees must LOVE the military! =D Hurry, Bob, put that on the statistic list!" XDD!

So, it could be going "Oh, everybody has Cherokee, sooo Cherokees must LOVE the military! =D Hurry, Bob, put that on the statistic list!" XDD! No, I don't have specific statistics for different tribes, but the book I got this info from points out that .1% of all Americans belong to a Native American tribe, but a full 1% of all US military personal do. I also read a statistic online saying that about 10% of all Native Americans have military service ( http://www.defense.gov/specials/nativeamerican01/warrior.html). 10% is a really high number when it comes to military service. No other ethnic group in this nation has a percentage of veterans that high. It could have something to do with the abject poverty on reservations. The tribes with casinos are generally wealthy, but most tribes don't have a casino. Indian Gambling isn't as widespread as many think. Reservations are hotbeds of poverty and alcoholism (Seriously. Native Americans have a death rate from alcohol related causes four times the national average.). The military could well provide an escape.
