She would have huffed at him if she could spare the oxygen, so instead she just lay her head in the dirt and waited for the world to stop spinning.

Universe rolled over onto his back, lounging and looking up at the stars. He wondered how many of them were actually suns in their own solar systems, how much death he was actually staring at straight in the face. He sighed heavily, his mood turning from playful back to the usual somber and serious.

Lilly glanced over, hearing his sigh. She scowled seeing his mood and considered. Not light hearted, she still hadn't recovered from that. Not anamoruos, she couldn't handle that just now. Not brooding, he was doing a fine job of that all on his lonesome....Cheerful? Maybe. She grinned and focused on trying to make him temporally poetic. That could be fun.

He turned and raised an eyebrow at her, "You are again attempting to alter me. Perhaps as the waves alter the shore with their constnant pounding, you have yet to find a me that you are capable of liking."

Yeah, no way she was telling him that she liked him, he was far more interesting when he was trying. He was fun. And no one had ever stuck around with her this long before. She wondered just how many personalities she could give him. She grinned and sat down, wondering what he'd say next.
