Incoming message. . .
Gabriel, who had sensed Seth on the grounds already, pounced the demon upon his entry into the castle. He bore his horns tonight, having tried in vain to shift himself completely into his true form. For some reason, he wasn't able to do so any more, and it bothered him deeply. He'd also been unable to make his horns go away and so he'd been stuck with them for the better part of the night. The horn were curved back almost against his head, and ended in sharp points that tilted upward. They served him no purposes really, merely being for defense and looks. His ever present tail was more useful than his horns, he decided. He wore his usual attire, this time having on a black silk shirt that lacked buttons on the front. The shirt lay open, exposing a broad expanse of chest and stomach all the way to his waist. Instead of his collar though, he wore a thin silver chain that held a small ornate key. Wrapping his arms around Seth, he leaned upon him slightly. "Where have you been?" he asked, his tail flicking to and fro.

Finally managing to tear her gaze away from his, Christian looked toward the darkness of the mountains, blushing furiously but unable to help it. "I was only curious to know what it would fell like." she answered honestly, seeing no reason why she should lie. Shaking her head, she took a step back and tried to being herself to look at him. She found she couldn't raise her gaze any higher than his chin and decided that it would have to suffice. "You don't have too...I...I didn't even mean to ask you that." she whispered and thought now perhaps she'd have been wiser to chose to confront her brother.

Seth sighed and his arms automatically wrapped around Gabriel and pulled him closer with a slight desperation he wasn't aware he felt. "Out." he answered simply and drew in a deep breath, comforted by the other demons scent and the feel of his body against his own. Pulling back a little he shook his head when he saw the horns. "Gabriel...you know you can't shift all the way. you just end up frustrated or like this...dingbat." he muttered affectionately and tugged on a strand of the toehr demons long hair.

I watched her expressions change, smiling at the blush. I've found that women who blush at such silly things are so damn annoying. But for Christiana to do so only made me think she was cute. Cute..not a word I generally use. To think someone was cute made me frown slightly. Something was wrong with me, I decided. Shifting closer to her, I placed my right hand at the nape of her neck and pulled her to me. Leaning in, I tilted her head back slightly and kissed her. Not too much, since I honestly barely knew her and didn't want to give her the wrong impression. But of course, I got a bit lost as soon as my lips touched hers. The kiss went much deeper than I had intended and I ended up with her completely against me. My body ached for things that I hadn't wanted in many years...

Gabriel shrugged lightly at Seth's remark about his horns. "I'll manage it some day." he said simply. "Out where?" He snuggled closer to Seth, pressing a soft kiss to the man's throat. His hands slipped under Seth's shirt, traveling over his body, checking for wounds and at the same time teasing hot spots. "Running errands for Master?" he ventured softly, nibbling at the soft skin of Seth's neck. He bit gently, his elongated canines digging in.

Christiana's mind went blank as soon as his lips brushed hers. Arjay had barely touched her yet she barely breathed and she definitely couldn't think. When she felt herself being pulled closer, she went willing. The feel of his body against hers was overwhelming and made her long fro more. Pressing tighter against him, Chrissy's hand went to his shoulders and clutched as she attempted to kiss him back. After a moment her hands slipped around his neck and she moaned softly.

Seth bit back a groan at Gabriel teasing, but didn't respond to it. He only held the demon closer. All he really wanted was company. Knowing Gabriel, he could easily guess what the demon was in the mood for and thought that maybe later he would let Gabriel convince him, sex might very well drive the thoughts and recent events from his mind. Sighing, he buried his face in the other demons neck and smiled. "You know...you never change. There is almost a comfort in that."

I wasn't honestly sure if what I was doing was right, but that insecurity didn't seem to stop me any. It was the moan instead that drew me back to myself. Shifting back, I pulled away slightly, breaking the kiss. I felt as though I should say something, but for the life of me, I couldn't form any coherent words. So, at a loss, I simply stared down at the woman-- nay, the girl, in my arms, wondering what to do now.

Gabriel smiled, brushing his fingers through Seth's long hair. He could tell that the man had too much on his mind for anything more than comfort. "Change is the one thing I actually fear." he said quietly. He knew that change was inevitable, but he was terrified of it anyway. He heaved a small sigh, breathing in Seth's scent. There were few other comforts in the world for Gabriel. Here, he knew he was safe, even the few times when Seth and he fought, he knew that the demon would fight in his defense against any attackers. Not that Gabriel couldn't defend himself, for he could. But it was always nice to know that you could also count on others in times of need. He also trusted Seth almost as much as his Master. It was a good thing, Gabriel decided, the smile still on his lips.

It took several moments before Christiana was able to think again...and breathe normally. Breathing was a good thing right? She shook her head at her own foolish thoughts and after staring blankly at Arjay for several moments she tore her gaze away, refusing to allow him to see her blush again. She bit her lower lip and focused on a point just above his rather piercing eyes. She couldn't keep staring at him after all, she couldn't really think when he was watching her the way he was now. "Ummm...well...that..hmm." she broke off, unable to think about what to do or say. And after attempting to form a coherent thought she felt rather foolish as her jumbled mix of words spilled out.

I felt myself nod slightly, willingly agreeing with whatever she rattled off. It only took me a few moments to regain myself though, and I took a small step back from her, releasing her from my grip. "That, yes." I said. "We had better not do that too often, lest I be tempted to do more than just kiss you.." It was a warning more to myself than to her, but I thought we both should hear it, just in case she got any more bright ideas.

Julian had risen earlier that night and as was habit had left to feed, though he knew that Christiana found the act itself distasteful. She disliked luring humans to her and using them as her prey, though he had never killed nor caused anyone's death from feeding, his twin still refused to do so if she could help it. So...he fed enough for both of them. And Christiana had not fed in a few days, he thought, his mind centered on his sister. Knowing that she needed the nourishment is what had drove him to go and hunt. Now he was hunting for her, wandering what sort of mischief she had gotten herself into this time. He hadn't been gone that long...an hour or so...possible a few minutes longer. Shaking his head, he paused in mid stride when he finally spotted her. His eyes narrowed as he studied the man who held her. His hand automatically reached for his weapon but he hesitated at drawing it as the stranger stepped back, away from his twin. Stepping toward them he kept his gaze on the other male, though his voice carried easily, "Christiana." was all he said, and he knew his tone was harsh and cold, a rarity when dealing with his twin, but it was too late to do anything to rectify that, he thought ruefully, his own pale blue eyes swiftly moving over the other male in a kind of thoughtful calculation.

Christiana's senses kicked in and warned her of her twins presence a scant second before he spoke her name. She inwardly winced at his tone and whirled to face him, automatically putting herself between Julian and Arjay. She drew in a tight rein over her emotions, curious to know how much her brother had seen. But while he was a lingering shadow now in her mind, his was a blank slate, which told her he was hiding things. She buried her memory of the kiss and the way it had made her feel, knowing that two could play at that game. Allowing a slow smile to curve her lips and light her eyes she met her twins gaze with her own. Her gaze had passed briefly over Julian's hand, held ready on his weapon, waiting for any movement that suggested that he would need it. Glad she had placed herself between them she raised an eyebrow at his tone. "Julian..." she stated coolly, easily mimicking her brothers attitude.

I looked between the two, feeling a bit lost. Upon seeing that this new male had his hand on his weapon, I slid my own hand to the hilt of Hiratoshi. The sword's hilt grew warm under the sensitive pads of my fingers and it's 'mind' was one with my own at once. The change happened so fast, I hardly had time to brace for it. I could feel the sword's agitation beating at me and struggled for a moment to keep it at bay. My will was slightly stronger and in the end I won the fight. There is nothing like being possessed. It is as if everything that makes you, well..you, gets shoved back into the passenger seat of your own mind and someone else grabs the steering wheel for a while. You are forced to sit there and watch while they run the show. For people like me, who keep a tight hold on their self control, just sitting and watching is hard. Most of the time, I fight for control or at least some of it, even while Hiratoshi is there steering. Sometimes, I win, like now. And sometimes I lose. Keeping my hand on the hilt of the sword, I kept my gaze unwavering on the opposite male. To his tone, I said nothing. My face, even though I could not see, was a careful mask of blankness. Nothing could be read from my void expression.

Julian's eyes shifted from the male slowly, still watching him out of the corner of his eye. He glanced at his sister and the position she had deliberately put herself in. She had placed herself between them, because she feared a fight. Curious enough, but the fact that she was shielding like a hastily built dam, and small bits of emotion were still leaking through, like water pushing through the dams cracks. His eyes softened and he relaxed his stance slightly as he felt the slight spurts of his sisters fear...fear fro what he wasn't sure, but he highly doubted it was of the male she was currently guarding. Raising an eyebrow of his own, he smothered a smile as she mimicked his tone. Not too surprised by her reaction he deliberately let his gaze move carefully over her and the male, and guessed what had happened easily enough. His first instinct was to challenge the other male, but out of respect for his twin he would wait for a more private and opportune moment to do so. "You should not be out here without adequate protection." he stated softly, putting an emphasis on the word adequate.
