Moving with Hishida's strike instead of trying to block the attack. As she moved with the attack she slowly moved to the side and out of Hishida's attack zone. "Your better than I thought." Yuki says with a smile; before starting to say, " Guardians of war lend me your strength, god of the storm Susanoo lend me your magic, and break my enemies! " Which is the incantation for Hadou #4 – Byakurai ("White lightning") As she says the incantation Yuki holds her sword in her right hand with the blade pointed down at a 45` degree angle, as if in a relaxed position.

...The moment his stopped just a few yards from Shinzou, Amatsu looked back at Mock with a slight grin across his face. In the duo of Amatsu, and Shinzou, Amatsu was more of the tank. Hard hitting, and able to take much more damage. He would be the opening for the end, that Amatsu knew. Though what Shinzou had in mind he wasn't sure. Amatsu clearly saw the attack be redirected toward him once more. It seemed Mock was un-phased by Amatsu barrage of attacks. The steam still held firm over the area. The gravity around Mock must have been hell, but it was clear that the dark reiatsu became a aura around Mock. He was negating the gravity by using his reiatsu. A risky move if he wasn't a Captain with such high reiatsu levels. Letting out a sigh, Amatsu knew a straightforward attack would be the only way to rid himself of this attack. Quickly placing Pondo Kouu unseen back in the sheath that was also for some reason unseen, it seemed as though Amastu was holding air at his side. Suddenly a aura of dark blue reiatsu began to generate from Amatsu's side. Just before the dark attack reached him, Amatsu released his blade with a swift arc of his blade. A blast of amplified torrent of reiatsu blasted through Mock's attack, and proceeded toward Mock himself...

...Amatsu began to breath slightly heavily. Only noticeable at a close range to him. These constant attack were taking there toll on him. Unlike Shinzou who keep his attack present at all times, much like Amatsu's clouds above. Amatsu main attack was like creating Shinzou's sand every time he went to attack. Hearing Shinzou speak Amatsu nodded in agreement. Hopefully whatever he had planned would work. Just slightly gripping his blade a little more tightly, Amatsu shifted most of the rain toward himself. It didn't effect him like it did Mock. It was just rain to himself. While the mist around Mock would still make him fell heavy as hell. Suddenly Amatsu shot forward. He watched as Shinzou's sands seemed to obscure Mock from all sides, but Amatsu knew he was still there. The rain above seemed to follow Amatsu. About four or so yards before he reached Mock, Amatsu leaped high into the air. Soaring above Mock. The moment he was above him Amatsu placed the bladed edge of his blade atop the dome of scattered sand. Placing his free hand on the back of the blade Amatsu smiled. "...Unfaltering Blast..." He muttered. As he did an intensified torrent of dark blue reiatsu unleashed itself not three feet above Mock...

...Such a strong attack from such a close range would ultimately obliterate a normal Shinigami. Though being a Captain, Mock would most likely only suffer a few bruise, and cuts. Amatsu just stared downward, hoping his attack had landed. Hopefully Shinzou was right with his assumption. If not, Amatsu could be in a world of hurt...

((@Shinzou: Just to clear things up, you said that Mock was following Amatsu with his stare, when in fact he wasn't. I said so, when I pointed out that I kept looking forward when Amatsu ran past me.))

Spinning twice his nodachi in front of him, the Captain cast a kidou. Hadou #58 -- Tenran! he yelled, as the orchid tornado moved through all the sand that Shinzou had directed towards him, and blew it away. Surely the Shinigami would be able to redirected his sand towards Mock once more, but that would take some time, and that was all Mock was aiming for right now. Furthermore, Shinzou would have to deal with the incoming attack of the Tenran, as it headed towards him.

A miscalculation. Apparently both Shinzou and Amatsu had made one. Mock chuckled upon hearing Shinzou's words. The Shinigami spoke about how the ash from his katana was allowing him (Mock) to sense their whereabouts. Shinzou was only "half correct". But that also meant that he was "half mistaken"!
It was true that though Mock had a high amount of reiatsu to spend, he was doing so at an alarming rate, in order to counter Amatsu's steam. But in fact, the Captain seemed more revitalized than ever, with each passing second. The Captain's gaze was now still directed at Shinzou, after having dealt with the sandstorm he attempted to threw at him. At this point, neglecting Amatsu's first attack - the one that he also used to counter Mock's dark wave - after casting Tenran MockaDash proceeded to swing his nodachi once towards Shinzou. A dark wave of compressed reiatsu traveled towards the Shinigami, closely following the kidou blast. Some of the dark energy however, still remained attached to the blade, and Mock brandished it towards Amatsu's incoming attack, nullifying it at the wave's edge. The Captain was now once more facing this incoming opponent.

Haven't you realized yet? That that wound won't stop bleeding on itself??? He said with sadistic glee. Mock was referring to the cut on Amatsu's left bicep, the one made by one of the Itsuryu's. You're under my baby's influence! That wound will never stop bleeding unless I will it to, or unless you spent some more of your own power to negate my control over it! Which I doubt you'll be able to do with ease!!! Amatsu was constantly releasing wave after wave of attack, as well as constantly controlling the mist - even if it was innate - and that was tiring him. On top of everything, the constant blood loss from his bicep wound, was most certainly causing some sort of fatigue by now.
You see... Your blood belongs to me now!!! That's how Mock was able to follow Amatsu with deadly precision. After tasting someone's blood, KetsuekiZenchou allows Mock to get a better feel for that "person's" reiatsu, even after losing control over its bloodstream. It's like getting familiarized with a certain taste, and being able to distinguish that taste among several others. Or if you one might prefer, it's like a shark who's able to sense a drop of blood on the ocean, from miles away.
Amatsu's blood that had fallen to the ground or that had stained his clothes, began to hover in the air and spiraled towards the blade of Mock's nodachi. Though I must say it's not yet refined. It's still somewhat stale. It needs to age some more. the Captain commented, while licking his lips as if actually tasting it. The blood absorbed by the blade had managed to (though seemingly impossible) turn it even darker than before. As long as a wound made from the blade - or its attacks - has not healed, MockaDash is able to draw power from it. So not only was this fact allowing MockaDash to replenish his spent reiatsu, it was actually making him even more powerful than before!

As for the ash, it was not spent with each explosion. In fact, it simply ignited, and then returned back to being ash. And all of it was hovering around Shinzou at the moment (hence the reason why Mock previously used Enkosen to block Amatsu's attack instead of his ash in the form of a shield). That was how Mock was tracking Shinzou, but not how he was tracking Amatsu. Ichibanmehakka -- Shageki [First Ignition, Gunshot] Mock uttered the name of an attack, that was directed at Shinzou and not Amatsu. Shinzou seemed to have a capability of knowing beforehand what is going to happen. This allowed him to dodge the previous combustion caused by KaijinKami's ash, but merely scarcely. MockaDash though that if he produced a much larger explosion this time, the Shinigami won't have the opportunity to evade it in time. Even if Shinzou dodged the Tenran, the dark Itsuryu shot from his nodachi would track him. No, actually, it would track the ash around Shinzou, as it prepared to ignite once more, and explode all around him, yet again.
The thing is, KaijinKami and KetsuekiZenchou had opposing and conflicting natures to their energies. So whenever the dark waves and the ash-produced explosions collided with one another, they would chain-react, and lead to a much larger and aggressive explosion.

So, the ash ignited like before, at the same time that the dark wave of reiatsu reached it, and an astonishing explosion reaching 10 meters in diameter was produced, with Shinzou as its center.

Now there was still the matter of dealing with Amatsu. As stated, rinsing himself (Amatsu) with water was of no consequence to Mock. And the sand controlled by Shinzou was nowhere near the Captain. The young man had produced an inspiring and magnificent attack indeed. But nothing that MockaDash couldn't deal with, providing he knew exactly where Amatsu stood. Rising his left hand - the one not holding the Zanpakutou - to meet the incoming energy, Mock cast a kidou. Hadou # 63 -- Raikouhou!!!. The Captain didn't have time to trouble himself with chanting the incantation, so the hadou was weakened. But it was a powerful level kidou nonetheless, so the large soaring blast of yellow energy was able to destroy Amatsu's incoming blue reiatsu surge. It lacked the power to continue forth and aim at Mock's opponent, so both attacks simply nullified each other in a spectacular display of bright lights and sparks.

Shinzou was caught completely off guard. He didn't get a sense of this attack, it was almost as if he was drawing a blank completely. He cursed himself for not being able to see what was coming his way. As the tornado raced towards him Shinzou hastily gathered his sand again, building it up around him. He shoved his Zanpakutou into the ground and ducked down as his sand enveloped him. Holding onto it for dear life and pouring all the reiatsu he could into it in an attempt to harden it around him. There came a roaring sound as the wind blasted over him, then a sucking noise as the center passed over him, followed by more roaring and then silence. He could feel that some of the sand was gone and knew that he had made it through the first attack alright. But he had also seen the second coming. The tornado had taken some of his sand, but it had also helped him by getting rid of the ash. Though he was stuck in a stationary position for the moment, so it would only help him when or if he got moving again. He pushed what sand he had left up in from of him to create a shield of sorts against the blast of energy Mock had sent towards him and gave his Zanpakutou a heavy heave to release it's barbed surface from the ground. As he freed it his arms were sent up in the air above his head thanks to how hard he had been pulling. At about the same time, the Captain's attack struck the sand and exploded as they cancel each other out. Normally this would have saved Shinzou's a**, but seeing as he was stuck relatively close to the sand, and was already off balance, he was sent flying. He landed in a heap a good thirty or so feet away after skidding a good distance, and his Zanpakutou sealed itself again.

(( Hum... Can I just say something? It's logical to assume that the ash was blown away in the same manner that the sand was, due to the tornado-like blast. But just like your sand, my zanpakutou's ash would return to your proximity, right away.

Also, don't forget that there was actually two attacks combined into one. Like this: ash explosion+dark wave=bigger and more powerful explosion. So in the same way as 1+1=2, if you've nullified the first 1, you wouldn't have to deal with a 2 but you would still be left with a 1 to deal with. Do you get it? You canceled out the Itsuryu with the sand, thus preventing a larger explosion from occurring, but the ash was still around you and it would still explode. ))

(I was using my reiatsu to keep the sand around me and harden it almost like a shell. The fact that some of it was gone shows that his control of that technique is nowhere near perfect. I believe I stated I was doing that in my post unless I'm mistaken.

And I was unaware that your ash would immediately return to form around me, because I was guessing that the tornado carried it away. I also did not know it had that ability. To make the shield I used the sand that was still around me. So it was almost instantaneous, I assumed that your dark reiatsu was following right behind the tornado, or at least extremely close, so I didn't even consider the ash as a factor.)

[First of all, if you didn't knew that I could control the zanpakutou's ash, it was your fault, not mine. I've shown evidence of doing so several times - I didn't hint to it, I actually put it out evidently and simple. For example, every time I used it as a shield or when I use it to ignite around you both, or even when I formed a cloud of dust with it around you. I even explained that the reason why I resorted to bakudou #39 to block one of Amatsu's attacks was because I was keeping the ash close to you.
I believe it to be more than sufficient for anyone to understand that I have control over it and it's ridiculous to state otherwise. How would I be able to execute such precise actions (form shields, create precisely targeted explosions and such) if I wasn't controlling it? Furthermore, you yourself wrote something in your posts that revealed that you had knowledge of this. Your RPC said that he thought that I was using the ash to track you - which I was. How could he have come to that conclusion, without you failing to realize that I can control it? It simply makes no sense. It would've been best if you simply accepted that you let it slip. Everyone makes mistakes.

Considering all of this, I did wrote in my previous RP post that the Itsuryu would target the ash, that was still around you. I mentioned that the Tenran blew the sand but I didn't mention that it blew away the ash. Not mentioning the ash wasn't a mistake from my part. It was just unnecessary to mention that, since it didn't happen. The ash was not blown away because I was controlling it. We're not talking about real ash, sand or wind here. Keep that in mind. We're talking reishi. We're spirits and everything around us is spirit particles. The energy of the wind conflicted with the energy on your sand, but even if it had conflicted with the energy in the ash, it didn't blew it away, because I was controlling both of them. Therefore I mentioned that the ash was still around you prior to casting Tenran.
The same way I assumed you would be able to quickly summoned to sand to act in your defense - I did mention that blowing the sand away would only buy me time - you should've assumed that the ash would also be ready to attack you once again. If a Shinigami inexperienced with his shikai is able to quickly recollect the blown away sand, wouldn't a shinigami experienced with his, be able to also gather the ash around you once more and with the same or superior speed? It's that obvious.

Even if you were using the sand that was not blown away - as you stated to be doing - then that could only mean that some of the ash was not blown away as well. There's no escaping that logic.

Finally, why the hell are you bitching? I had no problem with your post and I said so in my OOC. I didn't even told you to edit yours. What I did was just explain something for future notice and reference.]

(Whoa whoa whoa. Where did this come from? I was explaining my logic just like you were. I wasn't complaining. I didn't say that anything you just did was unfair, I simply stated that I did not know. I must have misread something along the way. I definitely don't think what I said is worthy of getting chewed out. I don't think I should get yelled at for explaining my own logic, it's a natural part of working something out from what is obviously a misunderstanding.

My idea about the ash: I was thinking that since the ash was physically on our persons, and it was from your reiatsu, that you were using it's physical contact with us to track us or using our passing through it floating in the air to tell where we were. Like a beacon or radar. I had no idea that you could control it in the same way as my sand. I find it offensive that you would take my explanation of my logic when you just did the same thing as some sort of insult, yell at me about it and tell me what it was that I was thinking. Your not in my head man, all I can do is explain what I was thinking, and that's what I did. I have nothing to cover up, if I missed something why would I try to cover it up? I've already admitted that I missed something here. There's no point in a fictional RP where my RPC is not even in real danger.

I also explained that I was pouring reiatsu into the sand for the soul purpose of keeping it in one place and that was in the pile on top of myself. I made sure I put that there. I just reread your post and I realized that I missed the part about the ash as a shield, I'll admit that was my fault, but I seriously don't see anywhere that you said that the ash wouldn't be carried away by the wind. I'm not terribly well versed in the ways of the Bleach universe, so you'll have to forgive me for making a natural assumption.

Look, I'm not trying to argue with you, I never was, I can't see anywhere that would make you think that. And in the end all I have is my word ok? I'm telling you what I was thinking and asking that you not get mad at me ok? There really is no need to do anything other than try to work this out calmly.)

((OK, let's quit this then. Forgive me if I sounded rude, but I wasn't arguing or yelling. I was just being straightforward, but yeah, I can see how you could take it as an outburst. I apologize for that. I suppose it was due to me being with a short fuse at the moment, due to malnutrition and drowsiness... sweatdrop

But like you, I was just explaining my logic as well.

Honest mistake from both of us. Let's just wait till Amatsu posts, so I can continue whopping both your asses around! xp ))

[Enters from Old Sanctuary]

Just beyond the Training Grounds, Mikazuki pulled out a small notebook from within her robes. Flipping through the pages, she eyed some notes that she had written herself. After looking through the couple more pages, she started muttering something under her breath, already she was near the training implements on the track.

Taking a couple of weights, she strapped them to her arms and legs and moved to one side in the middle. Mikazuki looked back to her notes, took a deep breath and sighed out while closing the notebook.

Instantly she began practicing a basic form of hand-to-hand combat, using Kung-Fu as a style basis. Her technique needed work but for what she needed this was enough. As she performed the moves, she kept chanting under her breath. Every time she performed a throw maneuver, a small flash of light could be seen emanating from her hands.

Her forehead glistened with sweat and she was starting to breathe heavier, yet she continued on chanting while practicing the martial art. It wasn't long until she got the creepy feeling that someone was watching her.

Assassin Hatsume

PostPosted: Mon Jul 27, 2009 4:26 pm

*Plays the infamous Jaws Music*

†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† The eerie feeling Mikazuki was feeling was no deception of her mind; but instead a predatory Kitsune lurking at every shadow behind her. At times it even appeared as a flash of a small fire would skip by a tree to another; if Mika turned to gaze at the light which might've caught her attention- she would see nothing. Hatsume would embrace herself with fox magic, placing a leaf atop of her head before transforming into what appeared to be a tiny fox up in the trees; so small she could fit in a single female's palm without discomfort.
This was her true form, her foxen figure- it released the image of her actual hidden age as a kitsune, being that the small fox was only a pup, a runt of a whelp even in her 'race'.
For now, the shinigami kitsune hide in the foliage; controlling her reiatsu carefully in a furtive way. Making it low and unnoticeable so that it mixed with the fellow wildlife and plants. "..........."

Although she promised to bring back Mikazuki quickly, she had her own intentions for the female crew mate. Watching, overseeing what she was doing, it was only after Mika got the creeped out feeling when the tiny little fox leaped into the air, nearly aloft as she glided on a ball of foxfire towards the fellow Shinigami. Mikazuki may beable to notice it was Hatsume if her eyes were keen in noticing her tail had the same markings. "....This sort of training will do you no good you know. You're training the WRong thing!" The small, tiny figure landed near Mika's feet. Hatsume couldn't be more then 6 inches for her body length and 11 for her long fluffy single tail. ".....You left. Why did you leave...? Why do you give up so easily? You stand and train your arms and legs for better strength- but what needs more strength is your own self respect and confidence! You say you don't want to be a hassle to anybody in the squad, and you say you want to protect. But I don't see it- you haven't proven one bit of it! You want to do these things...? Then you shouldn't turn away and run like you did." Her voice sounded more childish; but still had the same tone.
Her long tail stood on end, flickering and swaying as the wind pushed and shoved it. Red eyes peered up at Mikazuki, she was nearly as tall as the Menos Grande in her eyes... She stood firm, so cute and adorable- but she was being serious at the same time.
PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 9:22 am

"Gah!", Mikazuki screamed, accidentally releasing a delayed Hadou #4: Byakurai in Hatsume's general direction. Delayed-release kidou was one of the theories she came up with while she was still at the Academy, though it was very hard to do, as the chant had to be drawn out longer than usual. She also thought that kidou could be used at the same time as hand-to-hand combat.

Granted that the application of reiatsu to enhance one's abilities were not unknown in Seireitei, but she thought slightly farther than that. What if chanted kidou spells could be integrated into hand-to-hand combat? Mikazuki was sure that someone would've thought of this before her, but she wanted to find out by herself.

"I think you're quite mistaken, Hatsume", Mikazuki said, straightening up and wiping her forehead, "I'm not 'giving up so easily' as you say, neither did I 'run away' from anything, at least in my opinion."

Taking long, deep breaths, she tried to recover her body from the short, yet intense routine. Not only did it tire her body, but doing multiple thinking processes also taxed her brain. Mikazuki relaxed her entire being, her hands and feet still tingling from the feeling of multi-tasking.

"I had already initially planned on training on my own,' she started to explain, "but I wanted to ask the Captain whether he would give me some of his own training. Since he said no, I just thought I'd go back to the original plan."

((sorry for the late post. XP I lead a busy life.))

PostPosted: Thu Jul 30, 2009 12:31 pm

((lol, Mika is going to get Hatsu mad. And no-worries, aslong as it's within 3 days I normally don't complain. xD!! ))

-:¦:-Hatsume-:¦:-] A Lightning bolt of kidou was descending towards the small bodied kitsune with emphatic speed despite it being a accidental release of the demon spell. Her closed, slit-looking fox eyes quickly snapped open as red orbs allowed black narrowing pupils to zone in on the incoming element.
Even with all her effort, she was in mid-air when it had been summoned. Causing her to have a low chance ability to avoid the wrath of the lightning strike. It seemed as soon as Mikazuki cried out, so did the foxen shinigami with a painful yelp as her chest & arms/paws took the brute force of the electrical shot, it's current coursing through her body as she flinched and embraced against it's power. "....Urrrghh.h..." Her vocals slipped out, unable to control her shaky voice at first as she wobbled on the ground attempting to recover still and keep some sort of balance. She had been hit with lightning of the Hadou 4# technique before; and it appeared the more she was struck with this certain element the greater her resistance became.
Her static-ed twitching ears perked in the female's direction as she spoke out, eyes narrowing and enlarging quite often when Hatsume attempted to focus her sights on the tall soul reaper. "....Tcch-hhchh, You're worse than I figured!" She stumbled across her words, her vocal cords effected from the electrical current running through her body; which was finally beginning to dye down.
Hatsume gave enough respect to listen until she was finished speaking, but it only upset the kitsune to hear such a response. Shaking off the last of the tingling sensation and sharp pains of electrocution; she attempted to leap up high onto Mikazuki's left shoulder to get up and personal before speaking.
She let out a exhaling sigh, "Listen, Mikazuki. My fellow squad-mates are like family. You are of no difference; you are a first older sister to me. But what I hear and see you doing isn't good things. Let me explain alittle bit more better for her alright?" She shifted her tail alittle, curling it at the tip as she raised it high. Also shifting her head to deeply focus onto Mikazuki in hopes of gaining ALL of her attention during this moment in time.
"I'm sure you don't mean to give up easily. Or run away, but you failed in your mission to get training from Captain MockaDash! To me that is running away! To me that is giving up easily! Why? Just because he said.. what? No? What does NO matter to anything? You want training? Get your training from him! Force him! Atleast it won't be YOU who failed, instead it'll be HIM who has failed YOU! .... See the difference?
If you would have stayed, and respected his answer.... let's see.. like saying this: I understand Mocka Taichou- But I AM Ready, I MUST get training! You have to understand I will not take no as a answer. I have to get stronger not only for the Squad- but for the people who I devoted my life to protect as the 13th Company Soul Reaper!
If he said no still, and walked out on you. YOU didn't give up so easily~ Instead, YOU gave it all you could and still! HE would be the one who FAIL you! HE LOST! Not you! Get the picture?! But you simply just nodded your head and walked away! ....... . . . . .. Like a Failure. Like a drop-out. A somebody who gives up easily and doesn't TRY!"

The shinigami lectured Mikazuki, even at times speaking harshly and in a very serious tone of voice. Her expressions changed drastically as she lended Mika a sudden subtle glare, "......Now, I'm going to send you back to Captain MockaDash. Is that understood? You can forget about training -BY your SElf- And when we get back Mikazuki-chan, I expect a major difference on how you act. Is that clear soldier?" Awwh, the tiny little fox was curious. =0 And probably even expected a Saluting 'yes Ma'am' when Mika answered. She didn't mean to be well... mean or even harsh, but it bothered her greatly on how she acted and thought. neutral
PostPosted: Sat Aug 01, 2009 3:18 am

Mikazuki stammered back from the barrage of words given to her by Hatsume, almost taking a full step backwards. Never before had she been pelted with such strong emotions coming from someone else. It was really not her style.

Nevertheless, Hatsume's words were not unheard, but as to what she was saying, they were very much not 'her'.

"If you want to know, Hatsume-senpai, I was, and still am, a Taoist at heart," Mikazuki chuckled lightly, but immediately became serious again, "everything I see is as it is, there are no illusions, no preconceptions. At the same time, if one exerts their own will against the natural order, they are disrupting that order's harmony."

"In the case of what happened earlier," Mikazuki continued, "if I were to exert my will against the Captain's decision, then I would've been disrupting the natural order of things to come. Also, if I had said that I was 'ready', then that would have been a sort of prejudice towards myself, already applying an illusion over that which is natural."

Mikazuki suddenly became pensive, putting a finger to her lip, looking up at the sky. "But if by the harmony of things, you were sent here to retrieve me, then I shall comply."

Straightening herself up, and then bowing down, Mikazuki added: "And I apologize for accidentally hitting you earlier with my Kidou, that was a fault on my part due to my inexperience."

"Well then, shall we go back?"

†»‡«Hatsume»‡«† Hatsume listened to the response of Mikazuki, first showing strong signs of bewilderment and confusion before it finally 'clicked' in what she was talking about. Pulling off the leaf, it appeared she was no longer needed for this form... and returned to her former 'hybrid' like form when her paw swiped away the leaf from her head. "It's been a long time since I met somebody like you. You follows balance and all that, it's confusing to me... but I respect it. I'm glad you understand that you must go back, I just hope you give alittle more effort for yourself! Sometimes it's what Balance needs!"
With that, Hatsume would return a bow and lead Mikazuki out and back towards in the direction of the camp site.
