Watching from afar Kurai carefully signaled for two tiny fish to go closer to the boat and see what was going on.
'In a river this small there is no way I'll be able to fight. Since I can't go on land she has a nartural advantage butif I can distract Kishi long enough Rena maybe be able to escape. This will probably cost me some fish and my own freedom but Rena has more worth then me.'
As the fist came back witht he info Kurai told them to find a whale and have him ready by the river's mouth to get Rena out of here as soon as she's free.
As the fist leave Kurai takes a deep breath and letting it out slowly begins swimming quickly but silently towards the boat. Her tridant no longer in her hand but instead her sword is all she carries.
'All for my angel.'

The Captain swung the sword with deadly speed giving only a second for reaction. and was the only one in the room who did not look at Raze.
Raze flew though the room seeking Faven. Tara the rat was the first to reach him and squeaked worriedly.
The Hunter barley glanced up at Raze. She made a mental note of the creature before turning back to Rai. She pulled the orb to her stopping it about four feet from her. She sneered at her prize. the look in her eyes was obvious in showing she was trying to deiced whether to kill him or keep him as a pet.

Darcy didn't look away, "That's right, I'm like you. I'm not here to hurt. I'm here to help." Her eyes cast around to the men she could see, still wondering about the one that had slipped in behind, "You wont be hurt with me." She let him make the first move, not wanting to scare him again.

Rena felt a sudden urge to do something to distract Kishi. She wasn't sure why but didn't care. Rena struggled against the tight bonds and said loudly "Hey Kishi, How and where am I supposed to relive myself?"
Kishi groaned but recovered quickly thinking she had discovered her ploy. "Nice try but if you need to go you can do it right where you are I don't care." Kishi was watching Rena intently her eyes full of laughter.

Rat took another step forward nose still twitching. He froze before taking another step. "Re-gh-eg" he said in a low scared voice. His ears twitched hearing the sound of quick footsteps from the room he had just exited.
A older man dressed in a white coat and glasses stepped from the room. His long black hair was highlighted in the bight light of the room. he held a clipboard and had oddly long pointed ears. Looking at Darcy he demanded "What are you doing here Darcy this is not where you ought to be." he flipped a page on his clipboard then said accusingly "You are scheduled to be upstairs for a check up. Why in tarnations are you down here?" this man was one of the scientists who usually did check ups on her his specialty was more with doctoring abilities than with actually experimenting.

Relaxing a sec Kurai rushed foward and immeaditly jumped high in the air and stabbed at Kishi while throwing out a small dagger at Rena side so that her ropes were cut.
"Run to the river's mouth. I got you a ride out of here."

Rai whined quietly. There was obviously no getting out of this.
Izeno phases through the sword, snarling, but watching the Captain carefully.
Kalm barked at Raze, as if to say, "Help me get him out of here!" Kalm looked back at Sho.
Sho nodded, and went back to fighting.

Kishi was startled and moved but was still inflicted with a pretty deep wound on her left arm. though her pain and anger she didn't hear what Kurai said. Her head whipped around and with her good arm swung her large scythe at her. "Curse you brat." she muttered.
Rena was glad that Kishi hadn't noticed the dagger that had freed her. she was quickly on her feet then she hesitated glaring at Kurai and then Kishi. Realizing how much Kishi was pissed there was no way Kurai would get out of this as less than a prisoner. How could she just abandon her rescuer to the same fate she was going to suffer.

Raze swooped down and landed by Faven. Raze nudged him with his nose and making a worried chirp. Faven moaned and his eyes flickered open. He jolted to a siting position before crying out and collapsing to the floor again moaning. Raze looked from Faven to Sora then to Kalm.
The captain danced back his rage obvious completely intent on Izeno. The vines draped on his shoulders sprung to life and whizzed thought the air in all directions and converged on Izeno. moments later the captain charged with another attack.
The hunter smiled and in a quiet cold voice asked "What should I do with you?"

Kurai tried to dodge the scythe but still it cut deep into her arm and flung her to the other side of the boat. Landing near Rena she wanted to snarl out but couldn't waste the time.
So grabbing Rena Kurai threw her as hard as she could and yelled out,
"catch 44!!!"
Immeaitly a whale and squid jumped out of the water and the squid reached out and cuaght Rena in the air before throwing her on the whale who imeaditly took off for Nias.
In the boat Kurai tried to jump over the side of the boat and into the water. At eh same time blood continues to drain down from her arm.

Kishi turned in time to see her prisoner thrown to a whale who was taking off. "Oh no you don't" she said. the ship melted away and as she touched the water it froze under her and continued to spread until the water five feet in front of the whale froze. She alone remained atop the ice.
Rena had been caught off guard when she was thrown but soon was thankful that she had. since she had been on the whale she wasn't frozen. Taking advantage of her freedom she leapt from the whale to the shore knowing Kishi controlled the river.

Kurai was at a loss on what to do. But pushing herself to her fin she pulled herself over the side of the boat. and througha crack int he ice. Breathing in the water Kurai swam out till she found some seaweed to wrap around her arm.
"Why didn't she run when she had the chance. I still had Kishi blocked.'
Looking up she swam up and began cutting intot he ice so she can see the surface.
'What sea animal can I ask for help.'
Shaking her head she went back to work.
'I have to save Rena or die trying.'

Rena charged glaring at Kishi she shouted "Last time you caught me off guard while I was wounded and tired, This time I will not be such an easy opponent." she was seething.
Kishi was now focused on Rena and payed little attention to Kurai. "I accept the challenge and will relish my victory." she sneered overconfidently not taking into consideration she was stronger now than before.
Rena leapt deftly from the shore to the ice and just as Kishi jerked her hand to alter the ice Rena jumped catching Kishi by surprise toppled her. just as spikes shot from where Rena had just stood.

Finally cutting throught he ice Kurai looked aound for the two experiments but when she spotted them closer tot he shore then she was Kurai was annoyed.
"I swear I wish I could walk, I really need to look into getting this fixed."
But stuck with watching from afar she waited for a chance to do anything.

Rena bit down on Kishi's left shoulder before Kihsi had time to react.
Kishi's eyes flashed with the pain she kept her composure and she struggled for a minute before pushing Rena off with her scythe.
Rena received a cut on hr flank but was otherwise unharmed. out of the corner of her eye she spotted Kurai. their eyes met briefly but Rena had hoped that Kurai had understood her to try and create a distraction to give her the advantage again. Rena ran for a moment along the shore line closer to Kurai.
Kishi enraged was throwing ice projectiles at Rena hoping to strike the quick enemy.
