The golden furred femme shook her mane and pelt free of water, the tiny droplets flying everywhere and leaving a thin shimmer of glitter on the nearby plants and even up into the lower branches of the trees close by.
"If those are your minions, you need better ones." Serenity laughed, holding out a paw to help him out of the water. Realizing as she did so that he could easily pull her back into the water, but he wouldn't do that, would he? She'd have to trust him, and if he did, the Tala wasn't a silly pup anymore. Female and growing to realize that she was so, there were always ways to get back at him.

Accepting the help out of the pool, Ovid shook himself free of excess liquid, sending it spraying over the sand and his companion. Letting out another gurgle of laughter as he realised this consequence, feigning innocence once more.
Catching a few of the sun's fleeting rays, and revelling in their warmth, the monotoned tala cast a glance at Serenity, searching her coat for remnants of his 'minions.'
"Not hugely useful, but great fun!" he chuckled, in reference to the plants.

Ducking behind a clump of grass as Ovid dried off, knowing he'd probably do the same, she peeked out cautiously, laughing. Coming back out into the opening she eyed her fur for the little plants. Sighting one, she whirled, picking it lightly out of her pelt with her teeth.
Then noticing Fred pop out from between two clumps of grass, Serenity giggled, glancing over at Ovid with a glint in her eyes. Her Guide hadn't been around much since she'd gotten bigger, and now was her chance to get back at her for it! Pouncing the now smaller-than-her bird, she ended up at Ovid's feet, with Fred sprawled a few feet away.
She gave a little laugh, rolling onto her back and grinning up at him.

A little surprised by the sudden flurry of activity, Ovid eyed Serenity, now laying on her back before him, and the golden bird of hers near them in rather odd shape.
Sensible things happened around here, oh yes! Returning the favour she had offered not long before, the two-toned tala stretched a paw to his companion, offering her help to get back to her feet, before casting a glance at the dishevelled bird.
"Your little friend seems... flustered easily."

Serenity gave a giggle, very un-adult like in her manner as she let him help her to her feet, watching the bird who only stood at her shoulder or so stand and flutter her wings, glaring at her Tala.
Fred seemed to have gained the power of speech when Serenity grew up, and proceeded to give the golden Tala a through dressing down. Serenity tried not to laugh, the golden bird squacking randomly as she spoke.
"I can't believe you'd caw do such a thing, Serenity caw I thought you grew up! Caw wait until your Mama hears about this, she won't caw believe me!" Fred huffed, running off to find Miko.
Who was promptly padding into the Meadow, glancing around curiously to see where her daughter and daughter's bird-thing had run off to.

Sirius padded into the meadow sleepily, followed by an equally tired Remus. "Why'd we have to go running around today anyway?" Panting, Remus dropped to the ground, tilting his head up to the sky. "You go on, Papa. I'll regain my strength."
Sirius shook his head. "We were running errands. Not a normal task, but I offered," he huffed, letting himself sit next to his son.
Yeah, but did you have to offer me?" Remus groaned, putting a paw to his head.

Sniffing the air, Serenity noticed a familiar scent. Papa..and bro-bro? They'd been gone so long! She wanted to go to them, but glanced back at Ovid. The golden-furred Tala had been brought up to be well mannered, she couldn't just leave him here.
"Hey Ovid, wanna come with me to see Papa and bro?" Speaking of running off to find her family, of course.
Miko was first to smell the two of them, but most of all her mate. She burst off through the grass, tackling Sirry to the ground. This sort of ritual had become commonplace, when they hadn't seen each other for a while. Licking his muzzle and grinning. she beamed at him.
"Hello, dear."

"See, it's not so- Miko!" Sirius pushed all thoughts of tiredness and boring, day-to-day tasks from his mind. "Miko, love, how are you?" He nuzzhed her gently, smiling widely. This was better than anything sleep could do.
Rolling his eyes, Remus padded off. "They'll be busy for a while," he muttered, looking for other signs of life.

Grinning at the word 'bro,' presuming it to mean Remus, Ovid gladly nodded, keen to see his friend and discuss the adcentures they were planning. He was sure he could con a few pirate hats out of his human, and they could sail the seven seas for treasure!
"Let's go find 'em, kiddo!" The panda tala grinned, saying this. Though she had grown, Serenity was still his friend's baby sister.

Remus wandered a bit further, not wanting to go too far out of exhaustion. There didn't seem to be anyone there in any event. "I bet they're all asleep, like I should be and..." He trailed off, frozen in place. "It's the squirt," he mumbled, still not used to her change. That was nothing compared to the Tala following her however, and the sight made his eyes go wide in shock. "Squrit... and Ovid?"

Serenity winced inwardly at the 'kiddo'. Would she ever outgrow the fact she was once a pup? No matter. She bounced off towards Remus's scent, focusing only on running. Would her brother be any nicer now that she was grown?
Miko nearly purred, pressing her body up against his. "I missed you, love." She butted her muzzle under his, smiling.

Traipsing after the golden femme with an easy gait, Ovid kept his gaze flickering about the place, searching for the familiar face of his friend. Where had Remus got to now?
"How far off is Remy, Serenity?" the two-toned tala queried, plotting many an adventure beneath his calm demeanour.

Coming to his senses somewhat, Remus looked around nervously, finally diving behind a large bush. "Let's not jump to conclusions... maybe she just bugged him to play, right?" He peeked between the branches nervously, shifting his weight from one side to the other. "I mean, that must be it..."
"We've got to keep meeting like this," Sirius murmured, licking Miko's nose. "Where have you been this time? And how are Lori and Serenity?"

"There he is!" Serenity bounded up to her big brother, sitting down in front of him just as she'd done as a pup, tail wagging furiously. "Hallo, bro!" Still as happy as ever, though maybe a bit less hyper. Maybe.
Miko giggled a bit as he licked her nose. "Lori's been very busy with school, so I've been helping out more at home. Serenity was off playing with Ovid, last I knew."

Brow quirked at Serenity as she apparently talked to a bush, Ovid coughed quietly, wondering if she'd got a bit of a bump to the head. Last he'd checked, Remus had paws, not leaves.
"Uh... Serenity, are you SURE that's Remus?" the tala queried, a tad worried about his young companion.
