Ryugi noticed how Shouyin now charged at him in a flat out run. This caused him to evaluate his options and what he has at his disposal. He still had two good legs and one good arm. His right was feeling a little better and could be moved, however it wouldn't be able to strike with as much power as his left arm. His evaluations done, he then moved into a defensive stance, awaiting Shouyin to reach him, and at the same time, trying to plan his next attack.

With that big running start it didn't matter if Ryugi was a tank, this would hurt. Really, it was just so, unorthodox, that if that boy succeeding in anticipating it, Shouyin would flip. Rage was a powerful thing during combat. Jumping up when he was a fair four feet away he threw his feet up in front of him. His torso was bent forwards still, he looked kind like someone in a go cart would, sans the cart, except this kid was flying forwards, aiming to pound over 200lbs. of pure Shouyin into Ryugi's chest.

"KICKING STONE MACE!"

Otherwise known as the Waterboy technique.

Ryugi had to think fast for this one. So he decided to try and take a gamble. As Shouyin jumped up, Ryugi's hands instinctively rose up to protect his chest, putting them in a perfect position to perform his risky move.

As Shouyin flew at him, Ryugi dropped towards the ground, his hands moving out to grasp Shouyin's feet at the toes. With any luck, Ryugi would land on his back with his arm up in the air. He would then move them forewards, forcing Shouyin's airborne form to tuck forward. With even more luck, this would force Shouyin to kiss the ground with his face.

Just to insure this motion, Ryugi would bend his feet up to press on Shouyin's rear as he moved over him. If things got dicey, Ryugi could let go of Shouyin and toss him into one of the rocky structures not more than a mere four feet away from him with just a shove from his feet. But if things went as planned, then Ryugi would hold onto the Half Golem and send him face first into the ground, and at full running speed, that would hurt...

An alright move if Shouyin had had a hop skip and jump's worth of momentum, but this was after a headlong dash. All-out, full-tilt, no holds barred, run and explode. Unless he had the strength of a grizzly bear, he wouldn't be able to just catch and divert such a forceful strike. Shouyin's wooden sandals would ram into Ryugi's hands, probably crushing them against his chest before he could even think about dropping back and flipping him over.

In effect though, both moves would succeed, Shouyin would faceplant against the ground, a layer of stone protecting him from any harm, while Ryugi's hands were crushed, a few fingers probably broken, wind knocked out and all that jazz.

You just don't stand in front of a speeding car thinking you can flip it or something.

Do you?

Shouyin would expect Ryugi to be in alot of pain, however, he was wrong. Ryugi wasn't going to "stand in front of a moving car", so to speak. By the time Ryugi had grasped Shouyin's feet, he was already moving down and under him, meaning he wasn't knocked breathless, and his hands were not in pain, other than maybe a little tingle from the speed hitting them, much like one feels after a hard high five.

Either way, Ryugi was on his back, and Shouyin was on the ground in a faceplant. To that effect, Ryugi kicked his legs foreward, having let go of Shoyuin's feet as soon as he was sure his faceplant would go uninhibited, spun in the air and landed on his feet facing his opponent about three or four feet away from where he had just been on his back.

Knowing Shouyin would be expecting an attack from the rear while he was down, Ryugi prepared for the next phase of the fight. He didn't hear any grunting or graoning, so Shouyin must have done SOMETHING to avoid much damage to himself. Ryugi wasn't exactly sure what, but he clenched his fists took a breath and awaited his opponent to get up, ready to strike...

Whatever. Shouyin let the stone sink back into his veins, joining the rest of it on the migration through his bloodstream. He should've just let the blow hit, sure he'd've lost the match, but who knew what in this place? Now Shou was angry, finger to the trigger, lock and load angry. Kicking off his legs he did a bit of a handstand for a second, letting the hair fall away from his face, green eyes burning brightly, before rolling downwards and standing up, back to Ryugi.

Reaching behind his back he pulled the yellow nunchaku out of their hanging place on the cord waist of his pants. This was the end game. Enter the Dragon man, he spun the 'chuks around a bit, getting used to the weight, ecstatic at the fact that his rock hand could handle them. The phantom pains had died down out of necessity, adrenaline turning the stinging into a numb sensation. He moved into stance, eyes gleaming with a giddy fury.

Ryugi took the time to take care of a couple things while Shouyin did his flashy entrance. He grasped his scarf and removed it, tossing it to the side on the ground. He then continued to stare at his opponent, his fists still clenched. His red eyes were locked on to the body of his opponent. Calm, yet determined. Something told him that Shouyin was going to pull out all the stops now, and he would need to be ready for them...

"Your go chum."

Ryugi then did something unexpected. He walked straight towards Shouyin, closing the five foot gap with relative ease at this speed. Now one might wonder exactly what he had planned, but only time would tell. Ryugi was still fully alert, his eyes watching keenly on his opponent... He was now easily within three feet of Shouyin...

And Shouyin stood there.

OOC: *sigh* Do something.

And then Ryugi exhaled a large blast of flames roughly 5 feet long and 2-3 feet wide right at Shouyin's face and body, mainly his eyes. This flame was hot enough to light clothing on fire with relative ease, as well as burn and blister the skin. Also, it would last approximately 5-6 seconds. If Ryugi remembered corerectly, Shouyin would most likely use his rock to try and avoid the blast of flames, or he might try to hit Ryugi with his weapons, in which case, Ryugi was far enough away where he would hopefully have the time needed to create a decent counter strike. His fists were still clenched and ready.

Yikes. The peculiar tattoos on his right hand glowed bright. He'd never tried the technique during combat before, but it just happened. It was all a matter of instinct, the flames came and Shouyin slipped into the ground, disappearing beneath the earth. One of the more grandoise stone abilities of his, even if it was a damn blessing. It had much more to do with his control over the earth around him, or rather, the rock. If the area was packed with it, the technique was simple, over dirt and the like, it was near impossible. He simply shifted the rock around him, weakening the density until he could fall into it like water.

He could probably even create temporary tunnels if he wanted, concentration willing. Walking, crawling and swimming through the stone he followed the echoes of Ryugi's footsteps, all the while half holding his breath and half trying to swallow in little packets of air he created in front of his mouth. Life sure was a b***h when you were underground.

Nothing existed for Dark.

Where-ever he was, he didn't care, nor did he question the reason for being here. However, he did have an understanding that a fight was forthcoming. That alone justifed his existence here, and so Dark left it at that, a faint smile upon his face as he awaits his opponent.

He stood alone, upon a simple platform that was flat. It was unremarkable.

The colors were muted, as if life didn't flourish here. It didn't matter either way. Dark glanced down, swiftly checking what he was wearing. It was the usual gear, a black trouser, bare chested and bare footed.

Like all things here, it was simple.

The spiky, red haired man stood in an unkown place for him. What was the purpose for him bieng here? Who knows? All he wanted was to get back to where he was, and keep wandering the lands.

The place looked dead, dull, boring. But it didn't mattered to him, if he was here, it wasn't for sightseeing. He then saw the man, severalfeet away from him, and glanced at him. The red haired man simply wore red martial arts pants, nothing else, although if you consider his built muscles, then he's wearing a lot. Still, he looked at the other man in confusion.

Dark stared cooly at the man before him. He waited a few moments, eyes scanning carefully, until he felt satisfield and spoke.

"We are here to fight"

It was a simple statement. He barely needed to explain the reason as to why or how they came to be here. Nor did he care to elabarote, since Dark didn't have those answers within his heart.

However, he would not fight without warning, and so, he awaited acknowledgement.
