"Mhmm. I've only been around this area for a couple of weeks. I'm planning to stay for a while. I keep running into all sorts of pretty people, though. Its a bit odd." Vanessa's friend lost interest, and indicated that she would be off watching a show.

"Yeah, it is pretty weird. Pretty people just seem to flock around this area!" she smiled. "There's lots of nice pretty people around here."

Vanessa sighed. "Other pretty people and I don't get along very well. A lot of pretty people don't like not pretty people. That bothers me. Its not their fault they aren't pretty."

She got up, taking Vanessa's hand. "I'll get you cleaned up," she said, "Let's go!" she pulled Vanessa backstage without waiting for an answer.

Vanessa shrugged. "Well, I know nothing about how I became an Immortal, so I don't know much about it at all. I supposedly nearly died at 17, and I've looked the same ever since."

"Since this is so densely populated by immortals, we call it that. Its official name is Hardern!" she nodded. "Yeah, I've lived here about a year... I'll have to move on soon, I'll be turning '14' soon!" she smiled.
