:::The rest of her life... in all honestly, Cora had hoped that she only had to live as long as to see the Seraphim defeated. Being in the Brink was no life at all. True it was a step up from what she suffered in the city, but she was not really living a real life.
But now, what if she didn't have to spend the rest of her life in it? What if she were allowed to leave? What if she could live with Alex, or Luke, or who ever she chose?
Still... she owed the Captain her life, and that's how she meant to repay him, wasn't it? To live and die for the Brink?:::
Alex, I would love to live here, with you... But I don't know if I could abandon the Captain if he needed my help. Protecting the Brink... is my duty. Maybe, if we could defeat the Seraphim... and maybe if it were safe for the people who came there...
