((so uh...he blocked that or dodged the feather? or did the arrow get to it?))

The arrow cut through the edge of the feather cleanly, and was enough to knock it off course, making it twirl and skim centimeters away from Miiro's shoulder as it flew past him. Dusk shot a look in the direction of the archer, "So now you have more backup?"

Freyr growled, "Yeah right..." She brought her claws down, tearing most of the roots. She jumped out of their grasp and grabbed ahold of a tree limb, "I'm not going to leave you, and we are NOT going to die." Freyr growled at the boy, her eyes filled with stubbornness. "Geez, Where is that idiot demon when you need him..." She held onto Toya and couldn't turn Lupin because she feared dropping the boy. What is it with roots wanting to kill me? First Dusk now toya. YEESH!

Akki stod on the ridge and shuddered. concerning thoughts came into her mind.
what if war trickled down to the fire clan, Kagai is unhinged and god knows where, her father was traveling through the clans before, and aside from that their were mostly new comers who barely knew how to use their abilities. It would be a hard fight.
Miiro seemed to be having a difficult time fighting off Dusk, but this wasnt her battle she wasnt going to interfere.

Akki stood there for a little while longer deciding to go back home and patrol some more.

"Remote?" Dusk twitched after he caught on to what Miiro was insinuating, "So what of it? Why should I care about what they think once I gain more power?"

He moved his hand to the side, moving as though someone were pressing against it, and of course trying to inch Miiro's blade back. Then he spread his fingers out, and the feathers splintered, frozen in mid-air before their assault at Miiro.

Dusk saw something flying at him, but it was too late for him to react. The arrow penetrated his chest and through his heart, leaving a gaping hole in his chest. Dusk glared at Miiro with intense rage before he staggered and fell backwards, and the feathers crumbled down to the ground in a heap of silvery dust.

The Titan and several of the soldiers had kept watch of the fight, stunned by the sudden turn of events. They thought that they had a certain victory, and now their leader was lying dead on the battle field. Some of the soldiers started to retreat, and those who were oblivious to what had happened continued their march forward. The Titan however, raised one arm and pointed it in the direction of the archer while the other was pointed down at Miiro. One shell was blasted, with the target being Noriko, while the dark energy sphere was shot at Miiro.

The dark energy ball incinerated what was left of Dusk, turning his body into ashes that blended in with the soil surrounding it. The Titan still had its mission that it needed to carry out, whether or not Dusk was alive, it didn't matter. It continued its trek to the River Clan village, and during that time it pointed its arm to the village, charging up the energy within its cannon.
