Kikyo gritted her teeth before turning and glaring at Hido. "I'll have you know that this was not a choice that was made easily. It was well known that Kikyo would make enemies by accepting Akuma's terms, but sh is not an evil person."
Kanshin smiled to Hido, puffing her cheeks when he said they'd corrupt her. "Uh-uh. Kanshin is a good girl. I'm not going to be bad." She caught the different tone n Kikyo's voice and blinked in surprise. "What that Midoriko?"
Kikyo nodded to Kanshin. "Yeah. Midoriko, the girl on the guy's lap is Kanshin, and the guy would be Hido. Kanshin seems just as sweet as you described her. Very trusting and innocent as well. No wonder you get along so well with her, Kikyo. Yeah. She's a good kid. Hido on the other hand, eh. Although, he's no where as big an a** hole as- Glad you could see how bad I had it with him around. He truly is a terrible being. Too bad that Akuma brought him back from Hell when he was searching for souls."
PostPosted: Tue Jul 14, 2009 12:27 am

Hido tilted his head to the side as the soul inside of Kikyo began to speak, an obvious change in the typical cocky attitude of the girl. He stared at her for a moment blinking as his eyes changed, the pale pink pupils becoming pure white as he activated his Project Gensis third level, sensory perception. "I see, quite clearly actually. Yalls souls are conjoined by a very loose tie at the moment, the same sort of seal jinchurikki use... it's fairly interesting actually..." He said, looking down and chuckling at Kanshin's declaration. "Mmm, of course your a good girl, and being bad could be kind of fun. He said, chuckling lightly as he leans down, kissing her softly on the side of her neck, sitting back up and taking her hand in his, playing with her finger tips as he looked over at Kikyo smirking.

Both of Kikyo's eyebrows lifted up. Normally she only lifted her right eyebrow, but Midoriko seemed to prefer using her left when she was alive. Actually, Midoriko preferred using the left a lot, so Kikyo some times found herself awkwardly doing things with out really wanting to do them, thanks to Midoriko. As they spoke together, it was a perfect unionastion that almost had a medolic tune to it. "Y'all?" Kikyo turned her head and smirked and started snickering a little. Of course, Midoriko turned Kikyo's head in attempt to speak while Kikyo continued laughing. This was certainly something interesting to listen to since one voice was laughing was laughing while the other spoke as normall as one could over a laughing person. "Kikyo, stop laughing. It's not that funny. In response to your theory, it is in a way that way. After all, they simply take the souls of the tailed beasts and seal them in another's body in attempt to keep them under control. Kikyo, calm yourself." Kikyo pursed her pouty lips and looked up to try stopping her laughing fit, but that put an end to Midoriko's speaking.
Kanshin stuck her tongue out playfully at Hido. "Maybe I'm gonna make you become a good boy instead." She giggled lightly before he kissed her neck. She closed her eyes and blushed lightly as she felt her breathing get deeper for a moment. When he stopped, she blushed dark red and looked to him playing with her hand.
The look on Kikyo's face clearly showed some envy that she wasn't getting to spend time with Kanshin since it had been a while the two girls could just hang out, but she sighed and looked away, clearly really not in the mood to try breaking them apart. After all, she'd face the wrath of a pouty Kanshin, and nothing killed a person more inside than seeing the smiling face of Kanshin go into a pout or frown. At least hido would have to agree. If not now, one day he would. Kanshin was just that good at guilt tripping people, even when she didn't realize she was doing it.

Unbeknowest to the group of, currently elated, adults, a small pair of eyes had been watching them ever since they had snapped open to a painfull, blinding light. The small girl who owned these eyes gazes from a tree with a mixture of childlike wonder and confusion. The child had witnessed the entire battle that had suddenly spurred up before her only moments ago. She blinked in curiousity and trained her eyes on the man as he bent down as kissed the woman...agian. 'Why does he keep doing that?' she thought, not understanding the strange situation before her. 'Is it some type of greeting or something? People are so strange here.' Her thoughts momentarially went to two men who she had met a few hours before, One and Two. They had been strange, but she had liked them. And they seemed to like her, if only a little. 'These people are strange too. Maybe they will like me like One and Two had.' She couldn't help the hope that flared up in her chest. She desperately wanted company after her long travel to this tribe alone, but the thing she wanted even more than that, or anything, was FOOD. She hadn't eaten anything since the moment she had arrived here a day and a half ago, and her stomach was practically screeching for nurishment. Instincts taking hold of her, she silently backed down her branch and down the trunk, landing quietly on the ground and scurried over to a nearby bush, closer to the group, peering through it's leaves cautiously.

Kikyo could hear a slight rustling outside and activated her elemental eyes to see through the wall. Mind you, it took several tries since she wasn't sure what Hido had made the mansion walls out of. There it was. She saw movement in a bush and body flickered right behind the person in it, her katana drawn and pointed at the girl in the bushes. Kikyo's golden eyes looked down dully at her, holding as much interest as Kakashi Hatake would normally show, as her long white hair blew in a gentle breeze. "It's impolite to listen in on other peoples' conversations, especailly when there's an engaged couple present." By that, she was referring the the white haired and red eyed girl with the slightly puppy-like look to her that was sitting in Hido's lap and Hido himself. "State your buissiness for being here. If I find it to be friendly, and I shall be the judge of that, then I'll let you go. If I find that you aren't though..." A pair of demonic horns started to make themselves seen on her head as four vectors appeared comming from her back, taking the form of arms ready to launch themselves at this girl should she try to run. The mark on the head band around her neck clearly showed the sign for Heaven on the forehead protector, so any one who knew of Kikyo Soshi's reputation would know in a heart beat that this was the Demon of Heaven. Mind you, it wasn't because of the horn and vectors, those came a while after the nickname, with out them she had an almost angelic look complete with full pouty lips and skin as pale and smooth as porcelin. No, she was called that by her fellow villagers for being well known as a stuborn and hateful b***h that would willingly attack any one that angered her or poroked her in the slightest. Worst of all, she had no concious, so she didn't care who it ws that she beat to a bloody pulp. Some had even gone far enough to say she had no heart.

The child lets out a squeak in suprise, falling back wards onto her butt, her white scarf wrapping around her as if it was trying to comfort her. She shook her short brown hair out of her eyes and gazed up at the woman, mouth agate and eyes saucers. 'How did she find me? I didn't make a sound. Just like One and Two found me'. The girls natural skiddish nature kicks in then, forcing her to stammer and come up with words to answer the threatening person before her.
"I......I was not l....listening...." she manages to choke out, looking at the woman's headband around her neck, not knowing what the symbol on the piece of jewelery ment. "I cant h...hear that far."
This was true, though she had excellent hearing and vision, even in her own people, the couple's words were too soft and indistinct for her to understand, and having them speaking in thier native language didn't help.
"Y...yu yu..." she whispers, accidentally apologizing in her own tounge, hoping that there was a punishment agianst killing small, foreign, twelve-year-old girls.
She then curls her arm over her chest, palm sidways, and waves her hand twice, a sign of apology to her people. And it was right then that she answered the woman's other question, her stomach emitting a loud growl of hunger. The girl stiffened, praying to her god that this stranger would not take offence.

((Sorry for the slow reply. sweatdrop ))
Kikyo listened to what the little girl had to say, katana still pointed as she spoke. When it was clear she was finished, Kikyo stayed in her stance before moving the blade up. After first, most would have thought she was going to go for a blow, but she soon reached the blade back and seathed it in its holder that was strapped on her back. Kikyo believed her. The horns and vectors from kamakura disappeared, giving her the image of being just another pretty face. She went down on her left knee to the girl's level and rested her left arm on her now bent right knee, staying calm and some what casual as her golden eyes scanned the girl over. "Are you from this village or another? My village is Heaven. What's yours?" She didn't mean the type of Heaven you picture with clouds and angels, just Hidden Heaven, a village that floated high above the ground. Still, it took some to figure that out when she said it like that.

((Scratch that ive got some time))

Hido looked down at Kanshin and laughed, smiling and wrapping his arms around her to hug her to him for a moment. "Hmm, maybe you will, we'll just have to see." He said, kissing her on the top of the head as Kikyo became aware of their watcher. Hido had known the instant she appeared, his sensory perception spotting her before she was even near the place, but had ignored it, she was no threat to any of them, especially while he was around. Even so, if Kikyo was out there he may as well help in some way. He let one of his arms leave it's place at Kanshin's waist, reaching up to pull the edge of his robe aside, revealing a well toned muscular chest with a strange mark on it, a symbol that said animation. He placed his hand on it manipulating his Orochi Power of animation to cause the ground next to both Kikyo and the new comer to grow, becoming a large golem of solidified earth. The golem stood nine feet tall, limbs as thick around as the little girl. The golem spoke, a gravelly voice mimicking Hido's as best as he could. "Is there an Issue Kikyo?" The golem asked curiously.

The girl gazed up at the woman as she sheathed her blade. Inside, she sighed in relief, having feared that she was going to have to run for her life. She straightened a little, so that she was sitting now as the woman bent infront of her. The child kinda liked this lady, even though she had scared her at first. 'But that is what One did too.' she reminded herself. 'And she seems to like me, maybe.' The woman continued on with a conversation-like tone and, at her question, the girl could not help but blink in slight confusion at her. 'Village? What is that?' She thought over the question agian and somewhat got an idea of what the woman ment. 'I guess that is what she calls her tribe.' she concluded. She opened her mouth to answer when suddenly the earth shook beneath her, a large...thing...popping out. The girl eeped agian, this time at the creature, and her muscles tensed when it spoke, ready to make a run for it if she had to. 'What is that thing!?' she thought furiously, fear gripping her. She had never seen anything like this before, and it's alien-ness made her cringe.

Kikyo felt the ground shake under her and activated her air walk, her already pale skin turning some how paler as she controlled the air to lift herself above the ground. She heard the "Hido voice" come from the golem and glared intensly at it before holding her hand in front of her so that it looked like she was holding something. Soon, a long blue "ribbon" formed in her hand, made from the water in the air and from the water of the waterfall. Her own skin turned a light blue from the combination of using wind and water at the same time. She made a dance-like move before swinging the "ribbon" at the golem's left arm so that it wrapped itself around. She then controlled the water in the ribbon to move fast enough to erode the rock in the one spot to the point that the arm simply fell back onto the ground. Clearlythis was Kikyo's subtle hint that it wasn't welcome. "Mind your own damn business, Hido. Don't you have a fiance to be oggling. Just don't try anything funny with Kanshin or else I'll wrap your head in a thick layer of ice so that you can't breath, and I will make sure that Kanshin can't melt it." Kikyo looked back to the girl and gave an akwardly gentle smile (not used to givng one of those) before she let herself drop and the ribbon fell down as small droplets. Once more, her skin was back to her normal shade. "Ignore him. He's what I call an egotistical a** just because he's the head of the Nara clan and leader of the Akatsuki." She made sure to say it loud enough for Hido's golem to hear.
Kanshin smiled lightly and giggled, hugging him back when he pulled her close to him. She watched carefully as to what he was doing, tilting her head to the side slightly. She heard a rumble and the ear-like tufts of white hair seemed to pop up slightly the same way a puppy's ears would perk at the sound of something loud. "What was that?" Not much long afterwards, an even louder crash was heard. Kanshin jumped and let out a squeak of surprise before she wrapped her arms around Hido's shoulders and hid her face in his neck for a few seconds. She looked up to him quickly, pouting slightly. "What on earth was that?"

The girl stared at the woman in awe, eyes sparkling with wonder at the beautiful stream of water the lady seemed to pull out of nowhere. 'It's so pretty....' she couldn't help but notice. She flinched the tinyest bit when, what she guessed was the arm of the creature, fell to the ground in a heap, searing into her mind that, although pretty, the water was dangerous as well, and in a big way. After seeing that the woman would protect her from the strange threat, calmed down alittle, at least enough to where her tiny frame quit shaking. She was still very weary of the rock creature, but did her best to look brave, and not really acomplishing, only making herself look even more of a child than she was. She turned and, noting the kindness on the lady's face, returned it with a small smile, though she did not understand what most of the woman spoke of.
"Th....thank you." she softly says anyway, placing her arms one ontop of the other in front of her, making a little clap, then immediatly sliding them so that her palms were touching. "Nano wawam." she continues, using her native speech, the phrase roughly meaning 'welcome ma'am' or 'greetings ma'am'.

Kikiyo nodded to her, not understanding the second part but assuming it was either thanks or a compliment. "No problem. My clan manipulates the elements. I've been needing to practice my made-up for a while." She still hadn't gotten a name from the child. As much as she wanted to avoid giving her name away, she figured it'd be alright to tell the kid. After all, she doubted she had heard the announcement that Akuma had said that included her. "My name is Kikyo Soshi of the Soshi clan. What's your name, little one?"

The Golem looked dfown at it's arm, shaking it's head and smirking as a new arm grew into place as a mere sign of hopelessess at the attempt to destroy the creature. The golem became completely coated in black crystal as it nodded it's head as Kikyo spoke smirking. "Alright then, just making sure you were in no danger, it would make Kanshin horribly upset if you were to become injured... and don't worry, I won't do anything funny with her... 'bad' maybe but not funny." The golem said, chuckling gravelly as at fell apart becoming a pile of translucent black crystal shards. As a side note to his comment about the happenings a sort of wood reed blinds folded down over the window near Kikyo and the newcomer, blocking their view to the inside of the mansion. Hido just chuckled knowing that Kikyo would be bugged by the entire situation. As Kanshin buried her face in his neck, Hido wrapped his arms around her nuzzling her softly. "don't worry dear, it was just me and Kikyo greeting a newcomer, nothing to worry about at all. He said gently lifting her head to look her in the eyes smiling. He leaned in towards her, pressing his lips to hers embracing and enjoying the feel of her soft lips upon his, leaning back as the chair they were sitting on changed, reclinging slightly so that they were laying back at an angle, still locked in a passionate kiss.

The child glares at the pile of rock by her where the stone creature seemed to have just crumbled away, suspicious that it might suddenly come back. She blinks, then returns to looking at the lady as she spoke to her.
"Kikyo.....So....So...Soshi." the girl struggles to pronounce, brows knitting in concentration. "You have a strange name too." she comments, gazing up at Kikyo in an intensified interest. "I'm Kia.....Kia Meichi."
Kia smiles slightly, repeating her arm gesture agian respectfully before speaking agian.
"Are you from here?" she questions, motioning to the buildings around them. "Is this your heavan tribe?"
'Maybe this is what this place is called.' Kia thinks to herself, glad to be making progress in identifying the unfamiliar area she now found herself in.

Kikyo glared at the window as the veiw was lost and closed her jaw tightly together, producing a clear clicking sound as she did so. It was so tempting to just go in there and try slapping Hido stupid... But she knew full well she wouldn't suceed since: one, he was much stronger, and two, Kanshin would block it and then get all pouty. That said, Kikyo rolled her neck and eyes and turned her attention back to the girl. She smiled a little at the comment on Kikyo's name. "My first name is Kikyo, after the chinese bell flower. Mom said that it represents ever-lasting love. And then Soshi is the name of the clan, family, that I come from. We manipulate the elements and keep our village floating in the clouds, Kia Meichi." She shook her head at the question on if she was from here. "No. Hidden Heaven, the village I'm from, is pretty far from here. It's currently floating above a village called Hidden Gear since the leader of that village, their Kage, stole my village and my people for selfish reasons. This, dear child, is called Hidden Waterfall because of the big waterfall that hides the entrance to this place."
Kanshin smiled up to Hido lightly, glad nothing bad was happening. She smiled and blushed lightly as her loved one nuzzled her, feeling much better and less worried about the incident. She closed her eyes as he pressed his lips against hers and kissed him softly. She could feel her heart beat swiftly as a small heat flared in her cheek as a blush came on. She felt both chair and themselves lean back, but didn't really care as the continued their sweet embrace. It was nice having Kikyo around, yes, but it was just as nice having alone time with Hido as well.
