"Jethro?!" He called back, "That's a stupid name for a dog! How 'bout Duke?" He asked. It was like having to consult his wife about naming a baby. But in this case, it was consulting his friend about naming a dog. Probably not as nerveracking.

Honestly, Kiante was such a child about things sometimes. They were not running moonshine thank you very much and if anyone suggested riding in a red car she was going to yell.

"Jethro drove a half-wagon half-car! Didn't you ever watch Beverly Hill Billies?" Kiante asked. "Maybe...Spot?"
He pulled up. The source of the light was nowhere to be found now. He walked forward a few steps, and went through some sort of portal apparantly. He jumped as he walked through, into a city that looked like it was built for...Moogles? He turned around, Mika hadn't come through, but hopefully she saw him.

"Seriously-"
Zolx leaps up and the air and cast gravity. As he gets close to the large bodies- "Chill."- the air freezes and ice collects on him as he collides with the first large body. "Stop!" the heartless stop in mid-dissolve and he rebonds off it to the next. Zolx taps it on the head with his baton and ice starts to form over it. "Gather!" the Large Bodies barely move as a swirling vortex materializes over Zolx. he looks around for a moment then rolls his eyes "Right too heavy."
He shoots 3 basketball sized hail stones at the third and all three disperse as the time magic wears off.
"Lets hurry, the King might be in over his head. This way"
He head for where the light had come from.

"Hill billies?" Mika asked herself. 'what are hill billes?'
Watching the boy walk through a shimmery barrier of sorts, mika rolled her eyes and followed after him.
"Forever fleeing from a fight. Spot is uncreative and bland. Methos is much better." Leaning over a bit she whispered into his ear. "What is a hill billies?"

Akiko looked at the heartless, then shrugged and nodded, running ahead of Zolx uncharacteristically.
She kept running, until the sight of the garden made her stop and gasp.
"Dannngggg," she said unpoetically, "that's huge."
Finally she saw Mickey, standing protectively between a small boy and where the garden obviously began. She didn't stop to think but ran onward to meet them.
"Hey, uh...Mickey...what's going on? Who's this?" she said upon reaching them.

He stopped for a moment when she mentioned Hill Billies, "Never mind, it's old american culture. Anyway, this way...I think." He said, speeding up to a brisk jog.

Zolx spotted the stranger as he ran past Akiko, his back twinged. He brandished Olz ((That's his baton if that wasn't made clear)) and frost gathered over his arm. he could tell by the Kings stance that his was not a ally . He changed in, with a flourish of his weapon an artic wind swirled around him, then redirected at the enemy. The ground between the two and the grass turned a bluish white as it became hard and brittle. The Frigid wind and shards of ice pelleted the opponent.
((Hope I'm not being overly discript, just feeling a little flowery with my words today I guess ^.^ wink )

Rikku flew ahead as well, knowing that the child was not good, but rather she just stood in front of the garden, like mickey was doing, to prevent the child from entering.

The child jumped high in the air, dodging Zolx's attack, still laughing. He spun around quickly and transformed into a dark monster with red outlines and eyes. It looked much like a Darkside, but a bit smaller and no heart-shaped hole. It also had large, black, feathery wings. It's eyes looked like they were on fire, literally. It had no mouth, but it did have a voice, a VERY clear voice.
"I am Genkoku. I am the snake. I am a prince. And I am going to the core of this world." He said, as he started flying high above Mickey's head. However, right behind Mickey, in the air, he bumped into something.
A barrier?! He thought, Of Light. It must be coming from them. I'll have to deal with them first.
He flew back to the center of the clearing, and then drew a fiery sword, black as night. "Come, fight me." He said, perfectly calm.
Meanwhile...
"Duncan huh? All right, I can go with that, but on one condition. We spell it D-u-n-k-a-n. Okie dokie?" He said, right as he ran into the clearing.
He got there just as the demon drew his sword. "Uh...Mika, hurry!" He called back, attracting a glance from the demon.

Mickey looked at the others, and smiled despite himself. It had been a bit rash to set off by himself, as desperate as the moogle had seemed. But they were doing better than he had ever expected, he thought as he counted off each of them approaching.
He turned to face the demon, but waited for the others to catch up. He knew he had time, for the demon had hesitated.

Akiko rushed to the scene, biting her lip at what she saw. But she refused to be brought down this time. She'd keep her head and get rid of this stupid thing.
However, as she came abreast of the King, she hesitated. She wasn't quite sure why he wasn't charging at the demon thing.

Hagosha frowned. He had expected more from the Eighth Princess. But since the Enemy had come this far, he guessed it was time to aid them.
He said nothing to Genkoku's challenge but waited a little while longer to see what would happen, not relaxing his control on the barrier, the last obstacle to the Garden, and the Keyhole.

"Mm," Mika was willing to make a small sacrifice on the name, especially if it meant she won. She was about to say somthing more when she noticed her young partner attract the attention of the demon.
"Five of penticles!" she summoned forth the golden shields, before sending them off to safe guard the others.
