"My plan was just fine. I pointed out four out of five of the damn cards. You guys are the ones who got one upped by a cripple and a kid and still haven't called back the fifth key."

Das Steube Eulalia Danae "Booze sounds lovely." Lia said in a droll voice. Syx flipped her gun around and back into its holster. "I like how you think. So long as we're talking about locking these folks up, and not murder. I do what I need to, but I don't like to kill." "The term 'Murder' is too harsh. Think of it as 'Survival'." Xeen replied, closing his eyes, working on soothing the burning that had begun anew, "My injuries and restrictions keep me from being useful. We need a few brusiers. Trigger-happy, and preferably amoral that we won't miss should they fail." "If we have to be defining terms, it's getting too deep for me to be comfortable. As I said, killing isn't happening until absolutely necessary." Syx glanced at her gun. "We have a big bruiser, if we find Myke. But I'd prefer you to cut back on the whole 'won't miss' them stuff. Anyone willing to help us out, is going to be appreciated, and mourned if they fall."

Burning Disaster "My plan was just fine. I pointed out four out of five of the damn cards. You guys are the ones who got one upped by a cripple and a kid and still haven't called back the fifth key." "Go back to your cell." Lia chuckled. She stood up, moving to the body on the ground. After checking vitals she straightened the body, and laid a sheet over her. She didn't have the strength to move her, not with the suit, but she didn't like leaving things.

Arix decided he would ignore Syx and help with the body. "Where would you like it?"

Burning Disaster Arix decided he would ignore Syx and help with the body. "Where would you like it?" Lia smiled at him, although it was hidden by the mask. "One on of the stretchers." She pointed towards the medical set up. "At least for now. If this continues longer than expected, she will need to be moved with the other bodies in old medical center, to prevent contamination."

Arix nodded, then proceeded to move the body, being careful to get as little of her bodily fluids on him as possible.

"Baihn...." Jarred moaned from the ground, slowly standing up, blood flowing from his nose. He got his footing, then left running.

When the body was moved, Lia adjusted the seat and gave Arix a nod of thanks.
Syx stared after Jarred. "Should we have been sending someone else after the card?"

Xeen watched the others work, mulling over things in his mind. "Lia. What do you know of this stone?"

"Ask specific questions and I'll see if I can answer them for you." The mechanical suit made its soft noises as she spoke. She observed him carefully, making note of his movements and coordination, still concerned about the effects of the electric shock. "The medical center is full of the dead, but the scanning equipment should be still there and intact."

She observed him carefully, making note of his movements and coordination, still concerned about the effects of the electric shock. "The medical center is full of the dead, but the scanning equipment should be still there and intact." Xeen nodded to her response. "I shall discuss it in greater depth with you on the way to the medical ward, however, I need to deal with somthing here, first." Syx "If we have to be defining terms, it's getting too deep for me to be comfortable. As I said, killing isn't happening until absolutely necessary." Syx glanced at her gun. "We have a big bruiser, if we find Myke. But I'd prefer you to cut back on the whole 'won't miss' them stuff. Anyone willing to help us out, is going to be appreciated, and mourned if they fall." Xeen finally made note of Syx's statement. "You mistake this ship for something you actually have control of. Your petty morals mean nothing to any of us here. Instead of trying to be a good person, be good for something," Xeen paused, letting his words hang in the air before he spoke again, "Criminals, including myself, are resources your people should have been using from the start, and this would not have escalated to the point it has. You have failed yourself and the people on this ship, and the medical ward is full of proof of this. That said... I think you should stand aside, mull over your dismal failure, and let us do our work." He then paused, and then looked around the room, a small smirk on his lips, "Anyone else have any objections?"
