A young gazelle caught Kanashimi's eyes, and she lowered herself into the grasses. It was munching at some green growth that was below Kana's line of sight. Tasty... The gazelle was small, and probably fast, but wouldn't put up much of a fight once caught. She could try, at least.
Keeping a careful eye trained on the gazelle, she crept forward silently, watching for anyhting might might make a sound if stepped on or near. When she was with-in feet of the creature, she unsheathed her claws and inched forward. A twig snapped beneath her feet. Shoot... The gazelle's head shot up. She had to act now. With a roar, she pounced at the back of the gazelle, clamping her claws into it's sides. It tried ot buck her off, tossing the lioness about in every direction. She dug her claws in deeper while pulling her body up close enough so she could grab it's neck in her jaws. As she bit down she felt something ram into her side. Another gazelle nearby that was trying to flee got slightly turned around and rammed into her side. she was pushed off of the other gazelle's back, releasing it's neck, but the force of her body falling snapped it. she rolled through the grass, her side open at a few points from the animal's horn ramming her side, and the carcass of the other gazelle lay not far away. The others were gone.

An adult Kanashimi gingerly lifted herself fmr the ground, spitting up some blood. She moved to the carcass, nudging it carefully with her head. It was dead. She settled down next to it and began eating the flesh, her maw becoming covered quickly in the creature's blood.

Rackna smiled at the retreating figures of Briseis and Kanashimi, then he turned to his mate as her words struck him.
"Jade... She left aswell?"
He asked, looking at Elli with sad eyes. It seemed all their children were leaving...
He turned to Tay, a small smile on his face. He nodded a greeting before he spoke.
"Do you wish to leave aswell?"
He asked, trying to make it sound like a joke to hide the worry.

Kerai threw a side glance at Brazen, smiling lightly, nosing his muzzle, glancing at Rackna. "Your parents look upset...." she said softly. "Well, with their two clones leaving, I'd understand." she said, still softly.

"No, my liege..." She smiled softly, appreciating the joke. "I only wish to have permission to take my place as Shaman." Teal eyes glanced to the golden form of her mate, Kanashimi.

Elli nuzzled her mate and purred reassuringly. "Yes... She has gone to find her destiny..."
She smiled sadly. "But we still have Brazen, Deka and Aritania."
Hearing the Shaman speak of taking her place, Elli bowed her head to her mate and stepped back, allowing him to handle it. Turning away, she wondered where her second daughter was, and decided to go find her, before a Hyena did.
"I'll be back, My Love." She murmured to Rackna, and melted into the grasslands.

Rackna nodded, returning the nuzzle before Elli went to find their youngest daughter. Able to focus his attention on Tay now, he smiled.
"Good. I don't think I could stand to have another leave."
He nodded to her request.
"Yes, I give you my permission to be Shaman over this pride."
Deka appeared beside his mother suddenly, toddling quickly to keep up. He looked up at her curiously, noting the slightly sad expression.
"What'sa matter Mom?"

Briseis pawed around until she spotted a few gazelle grazing the lands. She hid in the elephant grass and snuck around them finding the weakest link, it happened to be an elder with a limp in its leg. Piece of cake, she crouched down low and waited for the gazelle's neck to arch to get the grass. She then left her concealed spot and ran after it.
It wasn't to hard for it was slow and stumbled. She picked it up by its neck and clamped down breaking it. As soon as it went limp she carried the rather bulky gazelle back to the den or close to it.
She scented Rackna and Tay. She had also seen Elli wander off some where. Her ears perked to Rackna, as she dropped the gazelle. "Whats going on?"

Elli smiled and nuzzled her young son. "Your big sister is all grown up.. So she had to go away... To find a new home.. And that makes me sad honey.. I don't want any of you to leave me.. But I know you must.. When you grow up Deka.. You'll want to find a new pride, or to be king of your own... And you'll leave in search of that place.. But I hope you will want to come visit now and again, and see your father and I..."
She licked his mane and laughed. "Come! Let's find Aritania!."

Briseis wandered what was going on, she had slowly but surely had been getting larger in the belly area and she thought she was getting bigger from eating to much, little did she know that she was pregnant and about to birth three healthy cubs.

Ellidanio reclined upon a tan rock, shaded over by a watchful acacia tree. Nestled against her was her crimson cub, Aritania. She smiled at her daughter, bathing the tiny female as she slept. Looking down at Aritania, who looked so much like her father and elder brother, Elli wondered how Rellick faired in his new Pride, and if he missed his home.
Movement in the Pride Lands caught her attention, and she smiled at the sight of Briseis, the white female, who they had taken in as a cub. Shifting to sit up straighter, she let out a welcoming roar.
"Briseis!"

Briseis peered up as she heard a familar, motherly roar. Her adopted mother to her. She roared back softly and made her way to her. As she moved her bigger belly moved back and forth. Her bright eyes glance to Elli, she made a purring noise as she rubbed her cheek against hers in greeting. "Hello," she answered softly and sweetly.

Elli nuzzled her white daughter back, smiling. "Its nice to finally be able to relax and speak with you."
She shifted over, making room for Briseis to lay with her, though she was careful not to awaken her cub.
"I don't know if you've met Aritania, my youngest.. Her brother Deka is off with his father." She gave a smile.
"And you..." She eyed the female's belly. "My, my! I didn't even know!"

"I've seen her around, but I don't believe I've met her." she smiled warmly at her green queen. Her azure orbs glancing at her curiously, "Know what?" she asked chuckling a bit. "I know I've gotten a bit bigger, might slow me down on hunts but oh well. I'll just have to lose it." She then lay down next to the Queen and her cub, hoping she wasn't talking loud enough to disturb the cub.

Ellidanio let loose a peal of laughter, shaking her head.
"My dear! That isn't just any weight you are carrying around..." She shook her head and tsked. "But the weight of lives..."
She nosed Aritania to reinforce her point. "I had no idea you had a beau..."
She cocked her head. "Hmmmm... So I'll wager neither does Rackna."
Aritania dosed on, purring when nuzzled by her mother, but content in her dream of chasing butterflys. 'Come here.' She mumbled.
