(now in English for your convenience XD; )
I guess I'll introduce myself a bit...
Hi, nice to meet you all! I'm ki-ri-to. I'm 22 years old and from America. Someday I'd like to become a Japanese-English translator, so to that end I've been studying Japanese for about 10 years. Altogether I studied abroad for about a year and a half in Tokyo and Kyoto. Kansai is truly beautiful and really interesting, you know! The shopping and such in Tokyo is really fun too, but if you get the chance, definitely try to go and see Kyoto's beautiful temples and shrines at least once!
Anyway, see you in the other threads. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu smile

Minna-san konbanwa. (It's night where I am right now) Watashi wa Christine desu. Juukyuu sai desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu.
I've been studying Japanese for about two years, I had a year and a half in high school and now I'm learning from RosettaStone. That program keeps the phrases running over and over in my head. By the end of my first lesson: Uma ni notteiru otokonoko (the boy is riding the horse) was running through my head while I was trying to go to sleep. Later on it was "Hitori no onna no hito ga kiiro raincotto o kite ite mou hitori no onna no hito was aoi raincotto o kite imasu" (A woman is wearing and yellow rain coat and another woman is wearing a blue raincoat.) These are not fun phrases to fall asleep too. They cause weird dreams to occur.
I've wanted to learn Japanese since fifth grade. I finally got the chance in high school, but schedule conflicts made it so that I couldn't complete it. I love looking at how the culture is different from ours.
I love foreign languages, I've taken sign language before, so now the language I'm working on is Japanese. I hope to make a translation program when I finish my programming classes in college and Japanese will be the first one I try to tackle.

Hi, I'm Mary. I love anime and manga and am trying to learn Japanese, but, like many others, my attempts aren't working too well. Since I go to a small school (about 50 -60 in my grade), I probably can count out taking a Japanese class. As a random fact, I love music heart .

i'm currently in a quest to change my avatar's look and i'm getting close to it by the help of some good people in gaia. i won't be able to post much right now cause i'm busy being the leader of my grand case presentation group.. after that maybe i could post as often as everyday.. for now you guys can send me PM's and i would gladly give you replies when i get to be online.. thank you!!
by the way thanks again for accepting me to this guild!
God Bless! and take care!

Hi. I like to go by Oddeo(said like: Audio), Odd, or Sprocket, or Sprock. I love Japanese culture, from Pockey to Anime. I would like to learn the language so i can watch the good (Non-American Edited) Anime and know what they are saying and jsut to learn something. i would also like to read Japanese too. I will try to follow all the rules. I will be as active as possible. i have to balance school (Net Admin Sophmore), my daughter, cleaning house, and World of Warcraft (ask for info is your curious) and i have to give all my other consoles some attention. if you have any questions the best way to contact me is to send me a PM.
