Smiling more charmingly than ever, without meaning to, he looked up at Kimiko. "Akkhina is my girlfriend." Going back to his sullen state he pouted slightly, "I haven't seen her for some time, however." Sighing he picked at his sweater. Looking up suddenly he cringed, "I'm sorry, I must be boring you with my sulkiness."

Kimiko nodded, realizing she hadn't been with her boyfriend in at least three weeks. Oh...she said, sort of losing concentration as her mind drifted to think of Ryuji. Does she not know you're back? she asked, tilting her head slightly again as she looked to Kalan.

Shaking his head in confusion, Kalan shrugged his answer. "I don't know, I don't think so really." Sighing he looked to the girl next to him, "Is there anyone you're missing?"

Kimiko nodded, modestly, and looked to the sky. He knows I'm here...but he hasn't come for me yet...she said, her features sad a moment before she shook her head and looked to Kalan with a bright smile. You should find your Akki! she giggled, nodding in agreement with herself.

Laughing as he brushed his hair out of his eyes, yet again, he rolled his neck then nodded, "You're right, I should." Sitting up he smiled as encouragingly as he could at Kimiko, "And you shouldn't wait for him to come get you, go find him."

Kimiko bit her lip a moment then offered a smile. Unfortunately, I can't do that...He's more powerful than me...and the way his home is constructed, even if I found it I couldn't get in. She shrugged her shoulder and looked back to the water, a thoughtful expression about her.

Kalan cringed and patted Kimiko on the shoulder, "I'm very sorry that you have to wait like that." Taking his hand back he smiled reassuringly at her, "I'm sure he'll find you."

Kimiko offered a smile and shook her head; She knew that Ryuji would find her when he wanted her, but whether or not he still wanted her she wasn't sure. You don't have to be sorry, silly...it's just the way it is.

Kalan frowned and looked out over the lake, "What if he doesn't come for you?" Not wanting to think about what it might be like having your love not want you anymore he sighed and shook his head. "Hey, I wonder if that rediculous octopus-monster-thing is still in the lake."

Kimiko's eyes rimmed with tears as she took his words to consideration. If Ryuji didn't want her anymore, then she wouldn't have a reason to stay in this realm anymore, would she? She wasn't sure. She shook her head and wiped her eyes before looking to the lake a moment before looking to Kalan. You think there's a monster in the lake?! she giggled, shaking her head.

Kalan looked at her seriously like a little kid looks at his questioning friends, "I don't think, I know." Smiling he shrugged, "It attacked me while I was swimming a few months ago, scared the hell out of me."

Kimiko couldn't help but giggle at Kalan. Are you sure it wasn't someone just playing a trick on you? There're lots of magic users here, you know...she giggled, shaking her head some as she brought her hand to her mouth to hide the fangs that resided in her mouth.

Thinking about it Kalan laughed, "It could have been that..." Frowning he furrowed his eye brows in thought, "But I don't know anyone that would want to play a trick like that on me."

Well, maybe you didn't know them, and they just did it to amuse themselves? She offered, tilting her head some as she looked back to the water. If there were a monster or something like that there, I think I'd be able to sense it...she giggled, shaking her head some before looking back to Kalan, eyes glittering with a sincere sort of joy.

Nodding and laughing, Kalan took a deep breath to steady himself. "Yeah, I'm sure you're right about that." Unwrapping another candy and popping it in his mouth he blushed slightly, "These are really addicting."
