Shadow was already in the kitchen grabbing himself a Dr. Pepper. "You and me both. I don't really care anymore. I mean we get to live in a mansion by the beach, I'm not complaining." He said as he poped the lid and took a drink

"What?" Elli stood up, staring at Otaki. "Why?" She asked quietly.

"Nervermind keep the car. I never liked it anyways." She took the money from the glove compartmant and headed for the gate. When she got there she went to go and open the gate. It sent an electric shock through her body.
"OUCH!" She screamed and drew her hand back. She called the number the owner gave her.
"Yo, Mary what's up with the shocking gate?! I WANT OUT!"
Mary sounded calm. "Resolve your issues. Have a nice summer!" There was a click and she hung up.
"Ugh..."

"Just too much for me."
He started walking towards the front door and saw Rose from afar.
As he got closer, he told her he was leaving and went to open the gate. An electric shock was sent through his body too, and he jumped back.
"What the-?!"

When she told him to keep the car he asked, "W-what do you mean by that, you're not just going to leave?" Then he saw the gates shock her and he grew wide eyed. "Hmm...I guess that the invite letter was serious about not leaving the grounds..."
He ran over to Rose and asked her if she was alright when the line on the phone was cut out. "Are you alright, that looked like it hurt..."

Elli bit her lip, and walked out of the room. She had liked Otaki, he was the first person she really talked to in the house. She climbed up the stairs, and walked into her room. She grabbed her I-pod, and went up to the roof.

Shadow put is feet on the table and leaned back. "So Kay-Dash what's up?" He asked trying to make small talk. Maybe, if he was lucky, he wouldn't hurt him.

"If fine." Her voice made her sound irritated. She glared at Otaki. " Like she said, 'We must resolve our issues.' What a loada bull crap. Like thats going to happen. I'm going to spend te summer a stupid outcsat. Kay-Dash will go about as if he's the king of the world. You will be blaming crap on me and getting pissed." She rambled on and stormed off.

Over and over he kept trying to open the gate, but he was unsucessful and hurting.
"I WANT OUT!!!"
He kept trying and trying.

Elli turned her music up to drown Otaki out. She sang along softly, hoping no one would find her. She pulled her knees up to her chest, and turned away from the gates to looked at the gardens.

Theron was about to say something to Rose, but the words got caught in his throat. He watched her as she stormed off and went back to working on the car, this time disconnecting the battery; everything around the engine and the engine itself were now non-functional, the car was corpse waiting for Theron to bring it back from the dead. He sat back on his roller and went under the car again to tinker and fix it up.
