((LOL I meant that the Hangain was still under attack by Leos when it tried to escape, and sustained some damage while still being persued, so when the captain was talking, it made me feel like the post should have included the Hangain's HP and EP. Its HP was 52, and from the Leos's beam cannons, it could have been shot down, having the total damage being 205. Hm... perhaps I could suppose that the Hangain's a rather fast ship and so could bend the Battle System for a bit just like for some speedy mobile suits, but
gonk even with that, it still gets blown up.
sweatdrop I'll try another way then.))
"Take this!" The cannons were all well charged up and ready to fire at the speedily escaping EAF ship. It would only take a few more hits to bring down.
"Hold it!" Captain Gustov's commanding voice shocked the Leo pilots into halting, and made them let go of the chance to be able to hit the ship.
"What's your problem, cap?! I thought you want to blow up this piece of junk?" said the pilot of the heavily damaged Leo 3.
"You fool! If we destroyed that ship, we'll be destroying the two GUNDAMs we know are aboard it, and we haven't even located the one that got stolen from us!" Captain Gustov exclaimed, his loud voice ringing in the ears of every pilot, "Report back to the battle cruisers immediately! All ships are to stop at our current coordinates. Over and out!"
With great dismay among the angered pilots, the Leos returned to their respective ships, and the crewmen couldn't help but stare at their captain with questioning faces, of which even an experienced man such as he wouldn't be able to tolerate, forcing him to make a solemn explanation, "Commander Briggs contacted us to intercept the Kurogane while it's being persued from behind with his oh so proud new battle cruiser, so to box it out from any further escape. Unfortunately, our mission was interrupted by the same tragedy that happened in Regiem 23, but no matter. The Hangain was headed on the same direction as the Kurogane, to
that colony!" His index finger pointed at the disc like space structure that the Hangain was swiftly making its way to far away.
"I've heard from the Dominion's captain that the Kurogane has docked itself in there as well. We shall get them in one strike! The mobile suits at the Hangain are badly damaged, so there won't be much of a problem in having too much resistance."
"You're not saying..." Levi, the second in command, looked over to him from her chair, "But... that colony... there are civilians in there!"
"And so are soldiers," Commander Gustov immediately answered, "That colony had been extremely bothersome since the beginning of the war, taking advantage of the innocents' lives to hide like cowards from their enemies. The UED forces thus far had been avoiding the colony for the very reason of its citizens, and the military occupation there had been very cocky lately about its state of the art Umbrella Shielding that even our Satellite Cannons cannot penetrate. It makes them think that they could even store extremely powerful mobile suits without even worrying about the risk they are taking with the civilians. Those dirty scum. True cowardice indeed."
The entire bridge was silenced with a solemn atmosphere at hand. All of them frowned, some with anguish, others with fear, still others saddened so mucha t how the EAF could do such things to deffend themselves. Commander Gustov noded sincerely and lowered his head, before continuing to speak, "Status report."
"The Froogin and Laeza's anchors have been torn and would need at least 30 minutes of repairs to be fully functional. Two [elite] Leos are downed, and all of the other 16 have been damaged, most heavily. We have sent some gathering units to collect parts for reuse, and a search party for the two pilots we lost, and now retrieved. Sadly... we only found one of them. We have lost the pilot of Leo 1, Ray Reaves."
The captain lowered his head at this report, in silent respect, before softly speaking, "I see. Thank you... Rico," he then renewed his posture and cleared his throat to speak more loudly, reaching out for the PA, "All ships, enroute for armory at orbit on Regien 07, to port. We shall make our repairs there, and quickly."
As the captain dropped the PA, Levi couldn't help but ask, "Why in a hurry, sir?"
"The longer we wait..." Captain Gustov spoke out, in a serious tone, "the more resistance we'd meet against the enemy. The two mobile suits that we managed to damage to the brink of falling apart could get fixed up sooner or later. We don't want them fighting against us again along with the other stolen GUNDAMs from the Kurogane. The more fighting we have..." he passed, sighing, "the more cassualties there will be, and I am not just talking among the warriors."
The five battle cruisers blasted their way at maximum speed towards UED territory, towards the armory near Regiem 07, at 60 miles per hour. (That's slow for space crafts.)
