She loved how he held her and kept the smile on her face. She was just happy that Cyan lived through it. "Even though he has weak lungs, it could have been worse."

Mari had giggled at this and sighed. "Mhmm. He'll be just fine. Vinsa said as he gets older, his lungs will get stronger. We just have to watch him and make sure he gets his medicine when he needs it."

"We have some great kids." She looked towards the bedroom door and was wondering what they were up to. She didn't hear any commotion and figured if something was happening, they would have come and told them by now.

Mari gave a sigh before getting out of bed and walking to the bathroom that was connected to their room. The kids had their own bathroom and Mari and Matt had their own. "I'm going to get a shower and dressed. Try to get some ideas out of them." She closed the bathroom door and started the shower.

he nodded and went to the living room to see them. they were watching some cartoons while raine was playing her game as usual. he came up to them and stood by them. "so anyone have anything they want to do today?"

Cyan didn't acknowledge Matt at all when he spoke and just continued watching the TV. You would practically have to pick him up and turn him towards you to get him to pay attention if he was watching cartoons. Garreth on the other hand looked up and was thinking of what he wanted to do. There were different options, but none that he could decide on.

raine spoke up ad looked at him. "i'd like to go somewhere. we been at home for a while." he nodded and thought of where to go. "well we could go to the park."

Cyan still wasn't really paying attention to anything and Garreth gave a sort of a shrug to his father's suggestion. The park was someplace away from home, but still seemed like it might be boring.

Garreth squinted his eyes at the mention of 'town'. He never really liked going into any towns other than Bronziera or Angelicus because people tended to stare. If worse came to worse, though, he would have to go with the majority.
