Claire smiled and put a hand in her pocket as they walked, the other was on top of her stomach. She took a few steps towards the path and suddently let out a small gasp out of pain. She collapsed on the ground and held her stomach as tears filled her eyes. She had never actually felt so much pain before..

Boone rushed to Claire's side and knelt next to her. "Claire! Are you okay? Do you want me to go find Jack?"

((Some Drama for poor Boone... I was bored whee xd ))
Claire held on to his shirt with one hand and pulled on it. She wasn't really realizing she was doing it, she was too preocupied with her stomach. Slowly though, the pain went away. She tried to speak but couldn't, though she managed to move her lips.

Boone looked around, frantic. Of course no one would be around when this was happening. He wondered if she was going into labor, and figured that it was probably a good idea to get Jack. Boone could lifeguard, but even that he didn't do very well, and he had no faith in his ability to help a pregnant woman. Boone clapped her hand in an attempt to give comfort, then he said, "Claire, I'm going to go get Jack. We're not too far from the caves, so I shouldn't be too long."

Claire opened her mouth once more and tried to make an attempt at speeking. Finaly she got something out.
"N..no stay. I, I feel better"
It was partly true, the pain was slowly going away. She didn't want to be left alone near the jungle, like she had been once.
Claire moved slightly and managed to get on her knees.

Boone nodded, correctly guessing the reason why she didn't want him to leave. He helped her to stand, and walked her back to the log so that she can sit down. "Are you sure you're going to be okay?"

"Yes..it happened before, it always goes away pretty quickly"
Claire slowly sat down on the log and looked down to her stomach.
"When will he come out?!"
She mumbled as she rubbed her stomach. She , then, looked up and smiled a bit at Boone. He was nicer than what she had heard before. He was in fact really nice.

"Oh, okay." Boone was glad that Claire seems to be alright. "It is... er... supposed to do that?" he asked, confused.

"I don't think so.. Jack says it's because of stress. Causes false labors..I'm not quite sure though"
Claire shrugged and placed her hands on her stomach. She looked at the trees in front of her. She always liked the Jungle, even though it was very dangerous. But in her condition, it was better not to go.

"Ah. Well, stress can cause lots of things to happen," Boone seemed to remember learning something about that years ago in a class. "When you feel better, would you like me to help you back to the caves? Or would you rather stay out here for a while?"

Claire moved her hair in back of her ears and sighed silently. Not that she didn't want to go back to the caves, it was just that she felt better at the beach. Brought her stress level down. For some reasons, she felt more secure over there.

He was unsure whether to ask to follow Claire, or to stay here to avoid contact with Sayid. He eventually decided on the first option, since he didn't want Claire walking around alone, especially after what had just happened. "Would you mind if I walked there with you?"

Claire smiled and stood up. She was pretty glad he asked because she wouldn't have asked him. I mean, he already did alot for her..even if it didn't sound much to him. She would've been too shy to ask him.
She looked towards the path as she fixed her hair up in a ponytail.

Kiyo_Michan *Jack nodded* He was pretty bad... Sayid really went at him... Yet he was well enough to go for a little walk... *Jack laughs to himself and sits on the ground* I just don't think we can go on like this...We have to learn to live with each other... not let just every little thing make us explode... Now granted I didn't get the whole story behind what happened with Boone, Shannon, and Sayid...I think Sayid went a little overboard... Heather made an expression that showed that she knows what happened but didn't want to say. "Maybe, maybe not. Something called Domestic Violence. I know what you mean about having to get along. ((Hey guys, Nolah and I were planning on keeping this thread PG13, and seeing as that's about as far as it is right now in the Sayid/Shannon plot, we were hoping to maybe be happened uponn accidentally by a character...maybe...Boone? smile ))
