Oath; Normally, I wouldn't be afraid to do that. I mean... The only thing I have to fear is possibly having to buy a new door there. It's just she's always got my nephew, so... I don't want to scare him. He's only three.
Yeah... That'll happen. I'm not even looking at the military though! I'm talking about ******** teaching. Or I might be looking to be a state or federal librarian. All in all, those are chosen because there's down time somewhere for the real goal. Being published.

Fear can be good for a child. Doesn't mean I'd like for my only nephew to be terrified of me.

Teaching, eh? Nice. Although, if you're trying to get published, then couldn't you just try writing a book and sending it in to a publishing place? The dude that wrote the Inheritance Cycle got published at 18 or 19 years old.

You can't rush a good book. I've got stuff started, but it's far from being good enough to show someone. Brandon Sanderson just last year finished a ten year endeavor, to begin an epic fantasy series on par with the Wheel of Time.
