"Battle fans, eh? I use those quite a bit. Not so awkward to wield as a naginata. But now that Fenris has so kindly repaired mine..."
Iri moves into a stance and lowers her naginata. Air starts to swirl around the blade, and then she condenses it to match the form of the blade. With more care than speed or power, she moves as though to sling the air from her weapon.
The results aren't satisfactory. In the middle of its trip, the air's form collapses. What hits the tree is a wide range of blunt force.
Iri grimaces and looks at her blade. "This one's gonna take some work..."

Sage began naming things, " garlic powder, curry powder, spiced salt, fuzzy dice, splash of vinegar, herbs, crushed roots, the list goes on..."

*Drake looked down angrily at the ground and kicked a rock in his path*
Why can't I just say what I want to say...? And how come I don't know what I want? I've heard of keeping secrets, but from yourself? That's just ridiculous...

Nyl flinched slightly.
"...We'll have to find you a target that isn't a tree. And use the fans, if you want. They're smaller, lighter and easier to work with." The grin came back. "You'll get more precise."

She stared at Sage, her eyes becoming wider and wider as his spoken list grew long and longer.
"Ehhhh-heh-heh... um.. I think I will stick with the original and popular saled butter flavor. Fuzzy dice doesn't sound very good to me sir... no offense intended."
Another sweet smile on her face.
"Heh, Hey... Mr.Sage..." she said looking down at her popcorn, "Do you think it would be good to stay here now? The place itself has changed little.... but people have... even you."
Kohyoh said pointing to his arm.

Fenris shook her head slowly. It was real... well... 'early.' Not like she was tired or anything... Everyone was so cheerful, but for some reason she was shaking and well; feeling sick to her stomach. She sighed and stood, walking into the Main Room. It was the only unusually empty on such a busy day.

Iri gives Nyl a sheepish grin. "Yeah... eheheh. I think I will use the fans. As for a target, I'll find a big rock in the woods or something. So, any other tips? Or do I just need to go find where I put my tessen?"

"Hmm..." Nyl frowned. It had been so long since this required actual concentration, it was hard to remember now.
"Well...for one thing, don't let it end up going backward, somehow. It's not too fun." She shrugged. "Other than that, it's mostly concentration. And you appear to have that down already."

Seph leaned back some. His eyes were still blue, so it was clear the Protector was still in control. Somehow, the Virus had found a way to sneak past him.
