"It isn't a trick, it's an attack." Still grinning, Nyl turned to face a tree; it was about fifty yards away, at the edge of the forest. Holding up one hand, she motioned three times in the tree's direction.
A few seconds later, three horizontal slash marks appeared in the tree's trunk, one above the other, evenly spaced.
"It's wind blades."

"Oh!" Fenris heard than comment as she looked out onto the grass. Shards of metal suddenly were swept up into the air. They were forced together as a floating 'bowl' of yami appeared under it. The metal melted into the 'bowl' before it closed up and ran over to the Naginata. It was obvious by how fast Fenris was working that the yami would not stay up for very long. At the blazing heat the metal was at in all. It formed the shape if the previous blade, but with a sharper blade before it suddenly cooled to a freezing temperature and the yami disapeared, leaving her Naginata fixed and in better shape that it had ever been in.

Sage chuckled and pulled out a second bag of popcorn. This one was full. He handed the full bag to kohyoh, and nodded, " good to see you again."
Since she had last seen him, Sage had grown 4 inches taller, and his muscles had become much more defined. Either he had been working out, or something freaky had happened. He also had a monkey like tail swaying behind him.

"Fine, I see how it is." Yuki said with a soft grin before she started to unbandaged her arms. A bit of bloody had seemed through the bandages from how hard she was wailing the tree. "Now; why did you come here?"

-=As the water came to a boil, neko added the tea leaves and took the pot off of the burner. It was a very mungent tea, but smooth, after the initial shock of smelling/tasting it. It's the reason Neko spent such a long time in the forest. He took a pouch from under his robes and sat it in the cupboard before pouring himself a cup and stepping outside, leaving the door behind him open.
The light trickle of chakra allowed him to sense the other signatures, and upon scanning over them, he raised an eyebrow, smirking to himself as he stayed out of eyesight of the others=-
It's been too long...

Iri had watched Nyl carefully, also monitoring the small disturbances in the air as she performed the attack. Now she tilts her head slightly and looks over at the three marks on the tree. "So, did you actually make sharp blades out of the air, or did you use blunt force to create the marks? Making blades out of air would recquire quite a bit of precision."
Then Iri looks to her naginata and Fenris. Her features light up in delight as she examines the handiwork. "Very nice! I owe you, Fenris!"

Kohyoh smiled even more happy for the full bag of popcorn, "Thankies thankies Mr.Sage."
Her buttery and salted hand reaching into the bag for the fluffy corny goodness and pushed them into her mouth about three at a time.
Kohyoh swallowed and looked to Sage, "This is good, sir!"

Seph returned the slight bow and smiled before hopping back off the roof and taking a seat on the railing, watching Iri and Nyl train.
Go on and pout, Meek. You and Sephiroth both long to be taught again, don't you? Want to be seen as an equal and not an enemy? Hoboy, that's rich!
What are you even talking about?

Nyl laughed. It felt good to laugh.
"Iri, all I do is precision." She was grinning quite brightly now. "But in answer to your question, if I were to throw those at you, you'd know it wasn't blunt force."
Nyl ran a hand through her hair. "When I first started learning Kaze, I channeled that attack through a pair of matching battle fans. If you think it would be easier to try that through a repaired naginata first, you're welcome to."

Kohyoh stopped chewing for a moment as she noticed the small fickle jump in chakra, knowing full well whom it may have come from. She could only smile. Neko checking up on everything. Kohyoh couldn't help but think how he had grown even more protective and alert.
...
"Eh? Spices?" A sense of cluelessness upon her face, "You can put spices on this stuff sir?"
Kohyoh picked up a popped fluffy pale yellow piece inspecting it.
"What kinds, sir?" she said softly and curiously.

(( Fen fixed it a few posts back, Nyl... o-o )) Yuki sighed at the way Drake acted as he walked off. She stopped unwrapping her hand and re wrapped it before going back to the tree from before and continuing her 'practice'. This week only get better and better...
