Akhenaden was weak, but stubborn. He followed Ayira doggedly, needing to use the wall for support.

Noticing he was following her she reached out and shoved him to the ground. While he struggled to get up ayira ran as fast as she could to getaway. After knocking out a few grauds the tapped on seto's cell "Seto! Your father is alive!!"

Seto had been sleeping, but jolted up quickly at Ayira's sudden arrival. He stared blankly at her as she spoke, then his eyes narrowed at her. "Don't be ridiculous. He died... years ago. You were around."

"I know I know! but he sudenly appered in your room asking for you are atem! he got mad at me for being in your room.." ayira said "Seto I wouldent lie! I knowwho I saw!"

Seto's eyes grew cold. He knew Ayira wouldn’t lie to him, but it made no sense for his father to be back. Was this something about Rei being back as well? He didn't want to believe Ayira. He shook his head slowly, looking doubtful still. "Well, where is he?"
Atem had decided that enough time had passed. He gathered Nanu and had been bringing her to the dungeons for her to use the Millennium Eye on him and see what was going on. On the way there, they found Akhenaden. Atem froze where he was when he saw the old, mummy-like man.

"somewhere in the halls...he knept following me so i knocked him over and ran..." ayira said.
Nanu's eyes widened and she quickly moved behind atem "i-is that who I think it is?"

Atem nodded dumly, and quickly went over to the old man. He grabbed Akhenaden by his shoulders, peering into his face, and then quickly let go. "It is you!" He exclaimed in shock, jumping back. "Y-you... you were dead! Oh, don't tell me he'd go this far..." He growled, and turned abruptly, his cape whipping slightly, and stormed off to the direction of the door to the dungeons. It wasn't that far away. He could hear Akhenaden following him. He went instantly to Seto's cell, and found Ayira already there. "Why?" He exploded as soon as he was within hearing range. "I can understand and maybe forgive you bringing Rei back, but your father?! He tried to kill you! And Ayira! And Nanu! He's crazy!"
Seto's eyes narorwed as the pharaoh suddenly burst onto the scene. "I would have no more desire to bring him back than you would, pharaoh. Perhaps someone would be kind enough to let me out so I can see for myself what exactly is going..." He didn't need to continue, however. Akhenaden had made it down the stairs and gone to where the others were. Seto sat down, heavily, onto his cot, staring in alarm and horror at his father. Akhenaden was utterly silent.

Nanu sighed softly "dont asume things hun" She told atem. Nanu's eye glew softly as she serched setos mind. After a moment she looked to atem "Ayira was correct. Seto had nothing to do with the return of rei or his father."

Atem growled a little, but couldn't find room to argue. Not against Nanu, anyway. "Fine." He finally muttered, then whirled on Akhenaden. "And I suppose you don't remember how you got back, except loud voices?" Akhenaden nodded shortly, and Atem threw up his arms. "This is completely ridiculous. Seto, deal with this. I'm going to leave before I lose my temper."
Seto was silent as Atem snapped at the guards to open the cell door. He got to his feet and exited, just as Atem stomped back up the stairs. He seemed to have forgotten Ayira's presense; he was looking only at his father, with a mixture of emotions on his face. Anger, fear, hatred, and a little relief. It didn't take long before he got himself under control and had on his normal mask of apathy.

Ayira reached and took seto by the hand.
Nanu not wanting to stay in the room quickly followed after atem.

Akhenaden watched the pair carefully. He practically glared at them. Finally, he said, "Well, Seto? Are you going to lock me up? Am I to be killed again?"
Seto looked a little numb, but shook his head. "The pharaoh has given me no directions to do so. He will probably want to deal with this personally, but he is not in the correct frame of mind. Until he is, you will be under strict observation, but no severe actions will be taken."

Ayira said nothing. She wasent going to leave seto's side.

Akhenaden's lips curled back in a snarl. "You are a disgrace, Seto." He spat, his look of cold hatred unchanged. He looked towards Ayira. "You should have been king by now. You are throwing away your entire life." He had recovered quite a deal; he had risen to his full height, and was almost as tall as Seto. Seto didn't say anything, not even to defend himself.

"Exactly." Akhenaden snapped, feeling surprised that he was agreeing with her. "Which is why Seto needs to step up and take his proper place. You should be pharaoh, Seto. You deserve to rule." Akhenaden strde over to the two, and put a hand on his son's shoulder. "I can still help, my son." His voice dropped low. "We can take the pharaoh down, you and I."
