She looked up at her teacher as she gave her a few pointers. She nodded with determination in her eyes. She moved to pick up her secound to last kunai, and took it in a steady grip. She felt a surge of confidence compared to the last times she had thrown. "Here.. I. Go!" she didn't think as much this time, compared to the others. She felt that she had copied the movements of the weird shinobi. The result being that the kunai hit the target, just a few centimeters off from being a bullseye.

She shrieked of joy as it hit. "WOOO!" she shouted, thorwing her hands into the air. "That was really close to a bullseye! Niiiiiiice! I'll go again!" she crouched down and picked up the last kunai she had recieved and place on the ground as a pile. She tried the same thing, not wanting to change a thing with her winning technique. The knife cut the air with a desired speed and power but in the end of the projectile motion, it started to decline in height and reached a far bit below the center.

"Aww.. Well it hit.. It's progress with two strikes in a row, for sure" she was out of daggers now and had two walk around the couryard to pick up the five kunais she had thrown. She walked up to the target and pulled out her two latest attempts. The first strike were rather deep also, she had a much harder time pulling out that one then the next. She was happy that it was straining to pull it out. Next was the daggers that was scattered across the ground. As she crouched down to pick one up, she jumped like a frog to the next one. Continuing in that fashion until she was back alongside with her sensei.

"Okay... I'll just go again until I've hit it five times, right?" she didn't wait for an answer and continued with her throwing. The magical essence of her teachers words seemed to have lost it's touch and the dagger got stuck into the earth beside the target. She had defiently found the power that was needed - now it was just the aim. Which led to master the focus.

"Okay.. Focus.. Focus.. Fo.. Cus.. Cus.. Hmm.. Cussing.. That is something that I really haven't gotten INTO yet. Maybe I will come around to it and learn some cool ones once I get out of the academy and get a bit older. I mean.. Shinobi's must cuss all the time. Or.. Are they so centered that they don't get agitated? Hmm.." on the inside, she was having a most serious discussion. But on the outside, her eyes were hollow and drool ran out of the side of her mouth. She snapped out of it when she could start to feel something cold and wet on her cheek. She immidieatly reconginzed the substance and with a discreet move of her sleeve tried to wipe it away before her teacher noticed. "Oh!" she said, "I was just focusing alot!" she threw the knife with not much thought behind it, resulting in one of her worst throws yet.

She smacked her open palm with her forehead. "Gaah..." she uttered under her breath. She needed to focus, but her thoughts were too inviting for her too resist them. She needed to break her pattern of thought. "Okay.. Focusing.. Being here.. Looking and being clear on what I have to do this moment" she felt the urge to drift away at the word "moment", being very similar to monument as in, the moment could be a monument of life. But no. Life was about throwing stuff now. She drew her knife from the ground and threw it with amazing effort behind it. But the force behind it was not directed, which let to it hitting a leg of the target. Impressive but not the target.

((What are the targets made off? Is it like haystacks built into humans or just wooden circles with has painted circles? Hmm? Hmm?))

"Gargh!" a very odd sound escaped Emi's mouth. Rage, caused by unbelivably large amount of failures had starte to take a toll on the young girl's psyche. Her knees buckled, her head fell low - she became silent. It went some minutes. Nothing happend. Turi could then hear the sound of something cracking. If he looked closely, he could see that the noise came from Emi's grip being tightend so that the fluids in her joints began to expanding by the pressure. She was mad in other words. She took a step forward, but didn't leave the ground with her second knee. Quickly her eyes aquired the target and threw her kunai. It dashed across the air with rage and a young girl's hope. It hit. It was a third to the lowest score you could achieve on the target never the less - Emi's dreams were back.

Her breathing were heavy. The target was hit a few seconds ago, but her rage were still largely intact. She tried to get it into her head that this was an exercise of focusing and concentration. But the shame and anger she felt for herself made it impossible to stay clear of her tears. She was still kneeling on the ground and was within arm's reach for another kunai. She picked it up and without much care wheter she would hit it or not - she threw it. The knife bounced off a very dense bush, which were a bit to the left of the target.

Words need not to be spoken. She was angry as it were. She tried her best to control her breathing but the grinding of teeth came in the way for the opening and closing of the mouth which were needed for her relaxation. Her head fell low once more and she grabbed the kunai, threw it, without even looking towards the target. The kunai, of course, did not perform the duties that Emi demanded. She could tell by the sound of the kunai hitting the dirt just a few steps away from them.

Hibiku walked into the Academy and looked around. His tail swayed from side to side as he peaked his head through doorways to check out all the other rooms. His ears perked up as he heard voices further done the hall. He started walking towards the room in his version of a march. Which included him being completely straight legged and lifting his legs up as high as they could go. His arms swayed from side to side as his hoodie covered his hands completely and continued for another four inches. Hibi got to the room and took a confident stance with his fists on his hips. "Hibi has arrived and wants to destroy things!.... Hibi also sleeped in and so he not awake yet..." His stance faltered as he covered his slightly sharpening teeth as he yawned widely. He blinked as he looked around the room at the people. He had a feeling this wasn't the right room. Hibi quickly turned around and walked out. He shrugged and continued to walk around the Academy looking for where he was supposed to go. He made sure his tail was safe by holding it close to his chest and lightly petting it. "Hibi lost...but Hibi can do it!" He said, his confidence falling only a little.

She was utterly crushed on the inside. Her inability to focus were so grave that she feared that the teacher might just throw her out of school. It was a thought she dreaded, having a whole family of shinobi that had prepared her with all they could. She had to take a hold of herself. She only needed to ignroe her thoughts. That was it.

She slowly rose and saw that she didn't have any knives left. She wiped a few tears that had run down from her cheeks and with weak knees, made her way across the courtyard to retrieve her tools. Once she was back next to her teacher, she made it clear to herself that these last two throws - she would definitely hit. Her gaze aquired the target, her eyelids narrowed down and her thoughts stopped. She felt the weight of the kunai in her hand, raised it above her hand, threw the arm downwards and open her closed fist to then let the the kunai fly across and hit the target, almost dead center. She shouted in excitment and jumped up and down on the spot. She could feel that concentration that she had lacked the previous tries.

She gave herself a few seconds to celebrate. Soon enough she calmed down, and tried to match her breathing to one of a calm person. Another kunai was raised over her head. She held it there, steady and still. Going through a last time what her teacher had told her. Focus. Attention. Concentration. All what explained presence were desperately trying to be achieved with this last throw. When the moment hit her, she threw it. Scoring a hit in the middle section of the point system. With a last scream of happiness she fell, face forward into the dusty earth.

Turi smiled as Emi finished her training, patting her shoulder. "Well done, well done... I suppose you can be taught after all." He said with a grin, teasing her slightly, before producing a scroll. "This will be your Academy syllabus, always keep it close, and keep it safe, you will be graded on it's condition during your graduation exam. That being said it is your's to use however you like, but you may not under any circumstances read the very end until after you graduate. There's a red line, do not pass it." He warned, offering no further explanation. "Okay, for now open it to the first part and begin to memorize the Twelve Seals shown." He held out his hands, showing her each one in turn. "These form the basis of all jutsu, and without them you'll be unable to perform any of them or be a shinobi."

Emi turned her head around, still laying flat on the ground while her teacher passed her some sort of scroll. "Hmm?" she asked. "A syllabus scroll? What is this? Some sort of substitute teacher?" she pushed herself off the ground, flinching some when her arms threw pain through her nervesystem. She managed to sit down in a lotus to study the scroll more carefully. Her brown eyes went back and forth through the hand drawn picture of different hand positions. They looked like the ones her parents had shown her before but she didn't have the patience to figure out which finger should go where. "Hmm.. So these gestures are magical, huh? Cool!"

While Batsu was tending to Sakurayuki, he looked out from the door and saw a glimpse of a figure pass by via the small window. The male walked over and opened the door to see who it was and it happened to be Hibiki, someone who he had worked with before on a mission... albeit he wasn't much help. So Batsu kinda knew what to expect... and knew not to mess with his tail. Well, at least this made a full squad with Sakurayuki and Emi. With that said, it was time to get to work.

Batsu watched Hibiki wander around for a while and summoned him from the threshold of the door. "Hey Hibiki, I'll teach ya over here. Hurry so we can get you to graduate."

Masanori entered the school grounds. His casual walk was something that followed him anywhere he went, his face constantly equipped with a deadly smile. To people that did not know him, he could be mixed up with a civilan due to his white shorts, sandals and tank-top. But the satisfaction he got by correcting the ones who questioned his rank, pleased him so, that he didn't mind the fact that he looked lazy and civilian. "Hm?" his eyes noticed a girl, one he had seen by the woods. Noticing the kunai knieves that were scattered around her and the ones, stuck in the target - he drew to the conclusion that she was given range weaponry training.

He didn't want to disturb her, since it was her first day, she needed all the time she could get. Instead, he continued through the courtyard and into the academy building. There he walked in just as a teacher called forth someone named "Hibiki" that were standing a few steps infront of him. "I'm glad, I'm done with this place" he thought while smiling at the teacher and student. The teacher looked like a person that could put him into a Genjutsu. But he didn't want to ruin any training time for the students. "Hmm.. I guess I'll have to wait my time with the teacher" Masanori walked up to Hibiki and patted him on the back while crouching down beside him - moving a few bangs away from his eys sight to get a better picture of the boy: "Hey there, I'll follow you to your sensei. I need to speak with him as well."

Hibiku continued to walk around whilst looking from side to side. He heard his name being called and turned his body towards the sound. He blinked at the guy as he tilted his head to the side. "Hibi name not Hibiki!" He said as his tail swished from side to side. It took him a moment to notice who had called him. "OH! It's the sneaky sneaky guy." His attention was brought to the new person who had lain a hand on him. He looked the person in the eye, his own showing signs of mischievous nature below the surface. He smiled, his teeth slightly pointed, as he patted the man on the back too. "Hibi can walk on his own, but if you wanta follow Hibi you can. Hibi don't mind." He walked confidently towards Batsu and waved. "Hibi want'sa train. Sneaky sneaky man train Hibi? Oh look it's the pink haired lady. HI PINK HAIRED SIS!!!"

After summoning Hibiki, he stayed in the doorway of the room to make sure he made in safely. Upon closer inspection, he honed in on someone else behind him. Batsu honed in on him and saw that it was Masanori. Batsu never really had any dealing with him and only knew of him from the village's roster of shinobi. Very little was known about him as far as Batsu was concerned, but he knew the guy was great at genjutsu and seduction... and was a higher-up. The fact that he was here baffled him so he had to inquire.

But first, he had to occupy Hibiki in order to see what Masanori wanted. Batsu eventually steeped from the door way in order to let Hibiki through. The medic looked down at the younger male and smiled. "Okay, okay Hibi. I'll stop calling you Hibiki... but only if you go in there and read a book as I talk to the man behind you... deal?"

Batsu then looked up towards Masanori and his smile faded as he placed his hand on Hibiki's head and gently ushered him into the room. After the student was inside, he bowed at Masanori and slid his hands in his pockets. "Masanori-san, you're a bit too advanced to be here so what's up?'

He followed the boy towards the classroom and waved him off as he entered it to start his latest assignment. "Well, this might come off as a bit odd.. But I have a favor to ask of you" he smiled with warmth and leaned against the wall at the opposite side of the door that led to the classroom. "I am in need of some assistance for a jutsu I am working on. It's the "Genjutsu Kai". The part where I need some help with is that I need to be under the spell of a Genjutsu, and free myself out of it. Also aquire some sense of feeling and understanding, of being under the influence of a mind-affecting jutsu. So.. If you got the time, Batsu-sensei.." he put his palms together, lifted them above his head and bowed oh so deeply. "Would you cast a Genjutsu on me?" the funny thing was that Batsu was in the Academy around the time Masanori was, but he had no clue who he was until he was included into the info-squad of the ANBU. There he was informed about every shinobi that had graduated out of the academy. Batsu being one of them.

Batsu's eyebrows raised as Masanori bowed to him. Though it was a nice gesture, it made the boy feel a bit awkward. He didn't like feeling that he had a superiority complex which is what it seemed like right now. Batsu accepted though and quickly ran through a few handsigns before he walked over to Masanori and put his hand on his shoulder. "Hey, no need for all that I'll put you under a genjutsu soon enough but I first need to finish teaching for the day. Once that's done, I'll..." Before Batsu finished his sentence, an explosion erupted from a far off distance. Oddly enough Batsu stood still, but knew that people were screaming and running around outside.

"Right.." he said, looking across the hallway through a nearby window, an explosion was clearly felt through the shaking of the school. The clouds that steamed up from the targeted area was massive. "So this it how it feels like.." to be an expert on Genjutsu, this was the first time Masanori had been subjected to one. "I guess I'll go look at it" he knew that he was under a spell, he thought the touch with the lie was very cute and a nice gesture to lure him into confusion even more.

As he made his way across the rooftops of Kiri, he noticed the people running away in fear. The fire had begun to spread across to nearby houses. As he suspected, the ANBU headquarters had been attacked. It is common, once you activate a Genjutsu, that you focus your attack on things that are personal to the target. As his or her's work place. "Very good.." he had stopped his movement on top of a roof, at the opposite side of the road to the headquarters. He could really feel the heat from the flames that were violently lashing back and forth in the wind.

Stage II:
DC: Chakra Control DC 14
Roll: D13 + 40Chakra Control = 53

He jumped down from the roof, easing the impact of the landing by letting the force go through his body while he performed a front roll. The were no signs of attackers. It would seem that a bomb or some offensive jutsu was the cause of this. The flames got warmer and warmer as he closed in on the site. Even though it was an illusion, he could still feel pain. He needed to be careful about that. A few villagers and ninjutsu users with the water affinity had begun to try and put out the fire. Masanori didn't have time for that, he wanted to see how far Batsu had reached into his mind and how much he tried to devestate Masanori.

He could feel that, if he wasn't in total focus, totally aware that this was an illusion - he would totally loose his cool. The heat from the flames and the possibility of death would terrify him into fleeing the scene. Being the coward that he truly was, he would probably try and weasel his way out of it if it was a realy life scenario. But now, when it was just make-belief, he could run into the burning building to look at the damages, possibly for a perputrator to this attack and really test his psyche.

Stage II:
DC: Chakra Control DC 14
Roll: D6 + 40Chakra Control = 46

He sighed and took a hold of his tanktop, ripped it apart to make a long cloth piece, and tied it around his head - covering his mouth and noes. Then he scouted the burning building, to see how he would move about inside. The whole front side of the building was just a massive hole, reaviling the floorboards of the other levels of the building. Masanori took a last big breath before heading towards the fire. A really tall, muscular man was throwing water from buckets onto the fire. Since Masanori got no social consequences from this illusion. He jumped up ontop of the man's shoulders and pushed off into the building, landing on the secound level. The man whom he had jumped from got thrown into the ground behind him, leaving a long landing trail where his body has pushed aside the dirt.

Stage II:
DC: Chakra Control DC 14
Roll: D7 + 40Chakra Control = 47
Success: 6/10

Immidiately when he had landed, he had to throw himself more into the sturdier part of the floor, due to the floorboards that he was standing on began to crumble and fall into the hot abyss. There, when he regained his balance once more. He got careless and had placed his hand right into a burning stack of papers. He screamed out in pain as he pulled it out, ripping apart another piece of cloth from his clothing to make a bandage around his burnt hand.

Stage II:
DC: Chakra Control DC 14
Roll: D18 + 40Chakra Control = 58
Success: 7/10

He scouted the scene. Batsu had done a very good job. This had really begun to tear upon his psyche - his body begging him to run away to safety. But Masanori pressed on, by kicking down a door that was nearby a pair of cubicules. It led to a stairwell that was made out of marble. It was extremly hot but it was better than the open flames where he just was, he continued to make his way up the stairs, dashing passed both the third and fourth floor. As he reached the fifth, the door had already been kicked down. Inside, Masanori could find people from the Interrogation squad, standing in line one by one, jumping down, killing themselves in the hellish flames. This was truly disturbing.
