I need a hug...
Over the past week I've been ignored, dismissed, and otherwise treated like I don't know anything for this project we've been working on. And looking back over all the other projects I've had in the CS department, and all the times I've gotten the "you just got that internship because you're a girl" or "you're going to get a job because you're a girl" crap, I'm starting to believe it's because I'm a girl that they're not listening to me. Treating me like I don't have merit or understanding of what's going on....
Cause it's not just they're unable to understand what I'm saying, it's blatant, "we know better" ignoring. I've spent the past five hours redoing their work because they didn't listen to me and spent their time doing implementation of the program instead of writing a prototype for testing, which is what we're getting graded on.
I feel so horrible right now.

i have to agree. people that treat others like that. despite their gender aren't worth the skin they shed. it discusts me. *pats kiddo on head* don't listen to those jerks. not everyone in the world is like that. it sounds like you just happened to be surrounded by representatives of the jerkstore. life will get better. remember you get to meet me this summer.

kiddo's avi is the best display of the new item. at least from what i've seen so far... i almost want to get one when i see it. but i know... a few day... it will go down. it seems to me. if there isn't something fluffy or cute in the letter it's sellability drops fast.

Yay! I'm almost done the hoard of work I've been having to work on for the last... As a matter of fact I can't even recall when it started. But that means Potto will soon be able to edit again 3nodding

I am looking forwards to meeting you though Jenru, so that actually works quite well as a cheer up. I feel a lot better now. I talked to Ben, one of the nice members, and he agrees that Jeremy is really rude and that I'm not imagining all this. So it's better.
I like the new staff a lot. Not too keen on the robo thing but the staff is nifty.
And yay Potto - having lots of work stinks.
