@Citrine: Illegally is the best way to go. Most games not released in the US can only be obtained by getting them through emulators.
@Jojo: Reminds me of the "Age of" games. "Age of Mythology." "Age of Empires." "Age of Wonders." In "M&M: Mandate of Heaven," you killed monsters and looted their corpses. It's just that ... the the nice, friendly villagers held more gold.
Though killing them changes your alignment and reputation so that nobody likes you and nobody will talk to you.
The amusing part is that villagers will act friendly and wander around you aimlessly until you attack one. Then anybody who sees it starts attacking you, and eventually you've got the whole village dead at your feet. All the gold in the world, but nobody will talk to you... that is, until fix your alignment by killing bad creatures again. Which takes a LOT of time.

Akvedukt Yup, Koemiko, that's the one :] At least I think it's called Secret of Mana II sometimes.. Kevin and Carlie are my favourite characters :3 "Seiken 3" wasn't released outside or japan (or asia maybe) so a bunch of fans hacked the game and made a translation. And there you've got secret of mana 2! And oh how I love that game!
