To answer your question Wally, Yes my last name is Wilson.
During the war of 1812 there was a man who owned a meat packing company with his brother, this man was named Samuel Wilson. Sam Wilson provided an answer to our troups meat packing needs. The crates arrived stamped Property of U.S., the Soldiers joked around saying U.S. stood for Uncle Sam. The name stuck, and here I am.
