MaddyMage Maddy just blinked. "Well, at least I didn't have to waste a bomb." "Hah, you think you're the only one who knows how to have a blast? Now let's hurry. Reinforcements will be here any second." I recall Xatu and Flygon and head inside.

Maddy smirked and followed Thard. She had a Pokeball at the ready. She seemed to be in a pretty good mood. It seemed all this excitement was taking her mind off things.

~Felix"Nyah~" Felix whined as he trailed behind the group through the shrapnel that was once a door, having just finished his battle in time. (Which I am still writing >_<, sorry for the delay but I promise it will get up)

Arekku smirks as both of the grunts run up to him at the dame time. "Okay guys! Lets to dancin' shall we?" Stormy was already out so he only tossed one other pokeball, letting Kari out of her pokeball. Both LBG grunts tossed thier pokeballs at the same time revieling one Sableye and one Luxio. Sableye started off the battle with a quick Shadow Sneak to Kari which took her by surprise and tossed her back into the storm cloud-like wings of Stormy who, enraged at the rushed strike, spat a Dragonbreath at the attacker, The attack hit but failed to paralyze. Luxio took the time to Charge up for another attack later and raised it's special defense. Kari on the other hand jumped off of Stormy's head and used an amazing Flamethrower on Luxio, taking a healthy chunk of damage.
Arekku thought it wierd that a Grunt of any team would take the time to train with a Charge attack but shrugged off the wierdness. Stormy inhaled again and another powerful Dragonbreath blazed across the opponent Sableye's form, it fell to the ground, obviously paralyzed. The opponent Luxio had Charged enough and had launched itself at Kari, supercharged jaws zapping the small chick. Kari was about to retaliate with a close Ember but Flinched from the pain. Sableye Ran up close to Stormy and slashed at him with a very dark engergy in a Shadow Claw attack, not doing too much damage.
Arekku knew that Kari wasn't going to give up even though she was really worn out. So he didn't return her. Stormy took another chance and used Dragonbreath on Sableye a third time, with luck, the attack did Critical Damage and took out the opponent's pokemon. Luxio used Charge yet again, and once again raising it's Sp Def. Kari ran at The opponent and again used Flamethrower. Luxio wobbled slightly and eventually fell over.
The grunts returned thier pokemon and tossed two more, revealing a Murkrow and a Pikachu. Pikachu took the first strike with a Thunderbolt to Kari, causing her to foint just that quick. Stormy looked angirly at the two opponents and lowered herself to the ground with a loud echoing boom, Earthquake! Pickachu was instantly defeated but Murkrow was completely uneffected!
Arekku pulled out another pokeball and tossed it releaving Dean, his Onix. The pokemon boomed as he entered the field. Stormy was the faster of the three though so he took at first strike this time. He launched himself at the Murkrow and smacked it down with a Body Slam. Forcing the opponent to the ground. Dean took the next attack using Rock Slide to ultimately finish the battle. The grunts returned thier pokemon and both ran off.
Just then his Cell phone rang and Arekku angrily answered it ...... After a few minutes of speaking and closed the phone and called out, "I gotta go, but at least I was able to battle once... Bye everyone!" He returned Dean and climbed on a disgruntled Stormy and flew off.

Larvitar merely followed, hoping he wouldn't need to use any of Ginji's Pokeballs. He was strong enough, right? "Larvii!" he smiled as he chased Thard.

Our progress is stopped by a very large man, with a number of tougher-looking grunts behind him. "Not so fast!" he bellows. "I've been wondering when you'd show up, Thorn." "You must be the one called The Enforcer. Nice place you've got here." "Amarube will be quite pleased when I tell him you've been defeated. And taking out your little friends along the way is just icing on a very sweet cake." "I don't think it'll be as easy as you think." "We'll just see about that! Blitz unit, go! Crush them all!" On command, some of the grunts rush forward to stop us. The rest of them, along with Enforcer, fall back deeper into the compound.
"Why do I get the feeling we're being baited? Looks like there's one or two of them each. They've got stronger pokemon than the guards outside, and probably more pokemon at that."
1-2 grunts, 3 pokemon each. And they might be diversifying away from just dark/electric.

~FelixJust as Felix caught up with the group, he was greeted by a stronger looking grunt, who once again decided to remain anonymous like the last two as she sent out her first Pokemon. A moderately tough looking Mismagius taking it’s place on the field. Felix responded by sending out Dino, hoping the Treeko had enough energy in him for one last attack… Which was apparently the maximum that luck was going to get him through as Aerial Ace and Psychic attacks were exchanged by the combatants, leaving Dino down for the count but at least an attempt was made. Dino was then replaced by the fresh and ready for battle Mizu, Felix’s Piplup, whom wasted no time in attacking as she entered the field. Striking the already damaged Mismagius with Drill Peck, taking advantage of it’s weak defense stats and fortunately bringing it down before it could counter. The grunt was now on her second Pokemon; a fierce looking Absol taking the field. Unfortunately wasting no time on getting a Perish Song attack into play. Mizu doing the only thing she could as the shrill song filled her ears and kept on attacking, this time following up with a long range Bubble-Beam striking the Dark Pokemon with a decent amount of damage before it countered with Slash. The battle on an equivalent basis at this point. Only two turns left before the malice song took its full effect. Another BubbleBeam was fired as the Absol raised its stats with Swords Dance giving Mizu the advantage even though both of them were sure to faint within the next turn. Unfortunately the Absol beat the little water type to the punch, finishing her off with a charged up Slash attack before the song could even take it’s effect, only to cause it’s own demise moments later. Round 3 began with Felix’s Meowth Rin verses the opponent’s Muk. The battle seeming pretty fair so far even though Felix had the advantage on the amount of Pokemon left; Rin starting the battle with a quick Attract attack, leaving the purple glob too infatuated to make a move. The battle continuing it’s one-sided-ness, Rin followed up with Thunder causing a crashing bolt of electricity to rain down from the sky, leaving the putrid purple puddle smelling of scorched garbage. The Muk finally overcoming his infatuation enough to counter fought back with Smog. Controlling the smoke leftover from the last attack to send a foul smelling cloud lingering over Rin. The small cat-like Pokemon hacking horribly over the stench. Barely able to collect herself enough to move, Rin fired off another Thunder. This time missing, only allowing the Muk to continue to enlarge the ominous purple fog. Which now covered over half of the field. Fortunately with one last stroke of luck, a crashing Thunder rained down on the opposing Pokemon once again, ending the battle. (Sorry for the total fail, I do have to leave now >_<.) Realizing how many actually fighting fit Pokemon he had left, and that the opponents were only getting tougher. Felix stealthily retreated his way back to the MKJ hoping to leave the more dangerous opponents for the higher ranked Aqua members.

Though I try to chase after The Enforcer, one of his Blitz unit grunts gets in my way, sending out Raichu. "I don't have time for this. Go, Flygon!"
The speedy mouse lands a heavy Iron Tail on my pokemon, but suffers mightily from an Earthquake. It hangs on, looking extremely ragged. A Quick Attack finishes the job, but not without Static kicking in and paralyzing Flygon.
The grunt recalls Raichu and sends out a Sneasel. Not wanting my dragon to take unneeded Ice Punch abuse, I recall him and send Maul (Flareon) in his place. She easily absorbes both the punch and the Night Slash that follows, and devastates the Ice-type with Overheat. It's down for the count.
Finally, he sends Lanturn out to play. I recall Flareon just in time to keep her from being washed away by Surf. Instead, it's Lotad who takes the hit. It's a strong blow, but he hangs tough and manages to withstand a Thunderbolt long enough to plant a Leech Seed. With another swap, I let Flygon take the next bolt, and regain some health from the seeded angler. Slowed by paralysis, he has to endure a strong Surf before crushing the fish with Earthquake.
Taking no chances, I pop open a trio of Hyper Potions to recover health, and give Flygon a Lava Cookie on the side.

Maddy threw out her Pokeball and released Blaze who stood before his opponent proudly, a Houndoom. Houndoom howled loudly, raising its attack strength. Blaze rushed forward and slashed at Houndoom with an upward motion, sending the wolf-like Pokemon flying through the air. The attack dealt extreme damage, but still Houndoom found the strength to continue the battle. It shot a ball of condensed shadow energy at Blaze, hitting dead-on. Blaze shrugged the attack off and finished off Houndoom with a powerful Earthquake. Blaze's next opponent was a Drapion. The armored scorpion's claws glowed with a poisonous energy as it attacked Blaze in a cross-like motion, dealing a critical hit that instantly turned fatal. Blaze fainted and Maddy replaced him with Emp, her majestic Empoleon. The emperor penguin washed Drapion away with a powerful torrent of water, only to be dealt decent damage in return as the scorpion countered with a blow that could break through barriers. Emp finished the battle with a giant, well-aimed wave. Maddy returned her Pokemon and waited for the others to finish.

Larvitar roared as it attacked the grunt head on, injuring him in the knee. In a swift movement, both "trainers" grabbed a Pokeball, sending out a Electrivire and Ginji's Blastoise. "LARVIII! O_O" is looked up at the Electivire in awe.
Electivire started with a Thunder Punch, Blastoise holding on with its Focus Sash, and then countering with a Counter, KOing the Electric Pokemon in a fluid hit of awesome. As the Electrivire fell, the grunt smirked as he sent out a Tyranitar, whipping up a Sand Stream. Again, Larvitar was in awe.
The faster Blastoise did some moderate damage with Surf before Tyranitar threw up red sparks with Dragon Dance. Blastoise fainted as Larvitar sent out Wailord. The giant Pokemon filled the room as Tyranitar attacked with a Thunder Punch, damaging the defensive Wailord before the Wailord used Self-Destruct. Larvitar smiled as the pyrotechnics went up, KOing the Tyranitar in a burst of Flames, the little green Pokemon grinning all the way.
How did a GRUNT get such strong Pokemon? It didn't add up. Too bad though, as he was out of usable Pokemon, Larvitar guessed the stronger the Pokemon, the more limited they were in number. Larvitar folded his hands as the Grunt ran away, his head in his hands.

With that wave of enemies defeated, I lead the charge deeper into this training facility. A number of caged pokemon lined the walls, and different corridors appeared to lead off to battle areas. But the commotion coming from straight ahead told me where to go.
"Come on, guys! We've got to hurry!"
"BAH!" The Enforcer grunted when we emerged from the hall. "Useless, all of them! Keep moving! Load it up with whatever you can!" The grunts behind him were busily loading stolen goods and pokemon onto a cargo helicopter. "It's time to finish this."
"I couldn't have said it better myself. Careful everyone! The Enforcer's got his personal troupe with him. We've got to get past them to get to the chopper. Four pokemon per trainer, and I think the Personnel Director taught them himself." I pull out a pokeball and confront The Enforcer.

Maddy's TADS vibrated in her pocket. She took the device out and checked the message. "Dangit! I have to get going!! Sorry guys, I'll try and stick around a bit longer next time!" With that, Maddy disappeared.

Larvitar roars as he releases a cloud of purple gas as Gengar appears, ready to fight the enemy's Hitmonlee. Gengar attacks with a Pursuit as Hitmonlee switches to a more subtle Pokemon, Steelix. Gengar smiled evilly as it released an Energy Ball, knocking the Steelix hard before the metal Pokemon retaliated with a Stone Edge. Gengar flinched briefly as it reappeared in front of Steelix and attacked with another Energy Ball, KOing the beast.
The LBG person squinted as he sent out his Hitmonlee again, this time ready to fight. Gengar attacked with Psychic, KOing it with ease. They didn't call it a special sweeper for nothing. In a bright flash, a Electrivire appeared, again, KOing Gengar with one foul Thunder Punch.
Larvitar almost started to cry as it released a Rhyperior, Electrivire smirked as it jumped on the ground, producing an Earthquake, Rhyperior was shaken before it released an Earthquake of its own, shattering through Electivire's defenses. KOing it. As it fell, it was soon replaced by an Umbreon.
Rhyperior tilted its head as it attacked with a Brick Break, hurting the dark Pokemon where it hurt. Umbreon used one of its few moves, Shadow Ball, being enough to take down Rhyperior. Larvitar bowed its head as he released Lucario who took down the Umbreon with an easy Vacuum Wave.

"I've been looking forward to this day for a long time, Thorn. The day I finally crush you in battle." "You talk tough, but let's see you back it up. En Garde!" We both toss our first pokemon into battle. His, Rapidash. Mine, Flareon. A Flash Fire stalemate...
Rapidash took the first move, Bouncing up out of harm's way. Flareon's Superpower sailed harmlessly underneath. The horse came crashing down, dealing heavy damage to Maul. But she came straight back with a second Superpower strike for equally strong damage. As Rapidash charged in for the Take Down, I quickly swapped Flareon out for Aggron. The attack did little against her steely hide. Enforcer's pokemon wheeled around and tried to Horn Drill my pokemon. It missed, as did Aggron's attempted Stone Edge. Unwilling to risk such a hit again, he recalled Rapidash and let Medicham take the blow.
Now that I was badly matched, I called back Aggron and let Xatu take the stage. She would have fared well against Hi Jump Kick, but The Enforcer was one step ahead. Medicham hammered my bird with Thunder Punch. Xatu was reeling from the shock, but still managed to get in a Shadow Ball. It wasn't enough to knock her foe out, and a second Thunder Punch finished my bird.
I decided Meganium was the best choice at this point. She took a shot from Ice Punch and Countered it for the KO. Drapion was up next, and stood poised to lay waste to my Grass-type. I called her back and sent Flygon into the fray. He soaked up a Cross Poison with little trouble, and his superior speed gave him a fast Earthquake. Unfortunately, the ogre scorpion held firm and took down Flygon with Ice Fang. My options were starting to run thin....
Aggron rejoined the fight. She took a nasty shot from Drapion's own Earthquake, but managed a Metal Burst to drop the foe. Rapidash came back for some more fun in Drapion's place. This time, I outmaneuvered The Enforcer, switching Maul in to take the Fire Blast and activate her ability. I could hear him swearing under his breath. Rapidash hit hard with another Take Down, only to be met with recoil and a surprise shot of Aqua Beam. The dragon-type attack scored the KO.
He was finally down to his last Pokemon: Electivire. The brute arced with powerful electric currents and smashed Maul with Thunderpunch. She barely withstood the attack, but went all-or-nothing with a Flash Fire-enhanced Overheat! The high-voltage pokemon was left scorched quite badly. With the last of her strength, my Flareon launched a Quick Attack to knock out her foe.
------------
"We're just about done, Sir!" One of the grunts in back yelled. "Good! We've stalled them long enough. Now all that remains is to cover our escape!" "What are you up to?" I shout. The Enforcer jumps on to the chopper. "This!" He pushes a button on a remote. Immediately, the alarms start going off around the base. A counter on the wall behind the helicoter starts ticking down from 300. "And this!" A second button opens all the cages in the base. Wild Pokemon start running amok. "You won't get away with this!" Somehow, the threat seems vaguely empty.
