"Felix, there's not much room for evolutions on the jet. Wait until we get there. And ... there's a Larvitar jumping on my lap. Settle down, li'l guy!"

Before long, we're passing over the Orre desert. I guide the jet low and fast to a canyon in the northeast. A large building rises in the canyon. In my haste, I forgot to activate stealth mode, so they know we're here. The outer doors shut fast, and a welcoming committee of grunts surrounds the jet.

"These guys look like they're pretty weak. Fight two of them, they have two pokemon each. And weak LBG grunts usually use Electric and/or Dark type pokemon!" I tell my passengers, and send the message to Reaper.

Landing the jet, I open the hatch and prepare for battle.

Jumping from the jet, I kick over one of the grunts and smack another with my Dreamcatcher, knocking him out.

"I'm going ahead to see if I can open those doors! You deal with these guys!" I shout, then run to the facility.

(Translation, 'Dinner. BBS.')

"Mkay~" Felix responded to both sets of orders as he was greeted by two grunts.

As soon as Felix stepped off the jet; two disgruntled looking peons wearing an unfamiliar uniform blocking his way to move forward."Uhmm.. Heh... I don't want any trouble~" He sighed over what was honestly the truth as he tried to squirm his way out of the situation; the opposing trainers obviously not moved as they remained silent. Only responding by each sending out a Pokemon, one Voltorb and one Murkrow were now standing before Felix, ready to battle.
The young boy responded by sending out two Pokemon as well. Having a habit of keeping a fair battle on his end even when facing some not-so-fair enemies. Replacing his open spots on the field with Dino and MK, his trusted Sneasel and Treeko partners.

The battle began with MK moving in for an immediate attack, wasting no time as he struck the opposing Murkrow with Brick Break. Dealing fair damage and causing both the Pokemon and trainer to cringe in shared pain; the bird pokemon quickly taking to the air afterwards, preparing a Fly attack.

The round commenced with Dino following up with Grasswhistle on Voltorb, fortunately reaching it’s target as the ball shaped Pokemon seemed in an immobile sleep. The battle was really looking like it was really heading in Felix and his team’s favor.

MK and Felix both acknowledging that all attacks would be futile on a Pokemon in flight decided to redirect their target, the Sneasel now working on wearing down the Voltorb with Ice Punch, causing the Pokemon to roll aimlessly away in it’s deep sleep. Just after MK’s attack hit, the opposing Murkrow followed up with Fly on the Sneasel. Dealing a chunk of damage as the Ice type Pokemon stumbled on his feet. The already damaged bird only to be met by Dino’s Brick Break ending it’s time the field.

The opponent’s Murkrow was quickly replaced by a Magnemite as the battle slowly turned in Felix’s favor; the still in an oblivious sleep Voltorb remaining useless.

The second round began completely one-sided as both Dino and MK targeted the recently sent out Magnemite. Taking care of it in a fairly cheap fashion with two combined Brick Break attacks. The Steel type standing no chance in hell at that point as it made some beeping noises than sank to the ground. The now Pokemonless Peon walking away quite angered. The opposing Voltorb than finished the round, finally finishing the round as it did what Voltorbs do best and suicide bombed both of Felix’s Pokemon. MK and the Voltorb not surviving the attack, and Dino only holding on barely.
Felix returned his unconscious Pokemon with a sigh, replacing him on the field with Gaku, his Surskit. Just as the opponent sent out his last Pokemon, a Nuzleaf. The battle probably going to be over very soon.

The opposing Nuzleaf started the round annoyingly stunning Dino with a Fake Out attack, leaving the Treeko at the brink of defeat. Unfortunately for the Dark and Grass mixed type, it’s fate was immediately met as it was struck by a 4x effective Signal Beam, courtesy of Gaku, ending the battle.

Larvitar bore its teeth as a lone Flareon appeared, blowing embers out of its mouth creating a slight flame. Larvitar smirked as it moved first with a Rock Slide, doing maximum damage to the fire type who attacked with a Fire Fang. Larvitar screeched in pain as it hit the ground with an Earthquake, KOing the fire type.

I arrive at the huge outer doors with no difficulty. But the imposing entryway seems nigh-impenetrable. The thick iron doors are built to withstand heavy beatings, and there's no electronic lock to hack. Indeed, the door is barred manually from inside.

"Flygon," I call out my desert mirage pokemon, "see if you can bust those doors down with Hyper Beam!"

My pokemon lets loose its best blast, but it barely leaves so much as a scorch. This could take some time....

Xatu quickly teleports back to HQ, touches a wing to both Arekku and Stormy, and brings them to the LBG base in Orre.

"Arekku! Good of you to make it! Two grunts, two weak pokemon each. They probably have dark and/or electric types. Now then, Xatu, see if you can unbar this door!" She flies over and tries to open it with Psychic, but even that doesn't seem to work. I scratch my chin in annoyance.

Tapping my foot in annoyance, I mutter, "No way am I coming this far to get stopped by some stupid door. Oh to hell with it, I'll just blow the whole thing."

"Flygon, see if you can crack the seams a little." Obliging my curious request, he uses a Dragon Claw and widens the gap between the doors just a little. Drawing my swords, I call out, "Stand back everyone! No telling where the debris is gonna land!"

With Xatu ready on Protect, I jam one sword into the new crack and position the other one against its twin. "Nova Burst!" I cry and channel power into my blades. Scraping the free blade across the other, I direct the force of the explosion into the doors, breaking them wide open. Bits of iron shear off and fly in all directions, but the bulk of the metal crumples outward toward the hinges.
