I thought it a nice one! (I'm picking up the Secret Black Widow prom gowns with each account...I think it looks like a nice gown--especially around Halloween!) http://www.gaiaonline.com/mediacontest/secretprom2010Ume, I hope your sewing turns out well...I'd be hopelessly and completely lost myself...lol--I'm doing well if I don't burn myself with a glue gun. redface sweatdrop

It'd be better if there was a way to shorten the torso without cutting straight across the middle and re sewing the two parts together to make it shorter. Oh well. I can always buy more fabric and make a second one. Or maybe I can ask my grandma what to do. She used to sew a whole lot.
Anyway, how are you doing mother Aileeya?

That's what I'd have done! ...asked Grandma....both my Grandmother's sewed...and all my Aunts...my Mom was the only one who didn't pick it up...our branch kinda got stunted in that area... redface
I'm fine-thanks for asking...tired! After picking up Katie and Ash, 4 (FOUR) of her friends wanted a ride home--only they came to play tennis (and all but one) went 'creek wading' first! One of them has his Dad come pick him up at the tennis court.
lol--Ash and Katie both fell asleep in the back of the van on the way home rolleyes Evidently I've outlasted the kids--BOTH times we've done this this week. rofl

Of course I played tennis with them! (which is probably why I'm so tired)
I swear--one of those teens identified ME as "the weakest link" and kept lobbing these low over the net fast balls! rofl
Several times, I just yelled "IN!" Great job! and walked to go fetch it--rather than lunge after it foolishly probably breaking an ankle in the attempt rolleyes
I will admit-I did NOT go creek wading...electing instead to stay with the one teen who also didn't. She 'downloaded' to me while the rest went wading. smile
