As the man dodged and counter attacked, Marius rotated his wrist to shift his own blade from a slash to a parry as he took a long step back and to the side to take him out of range. The other man's blade still scored lightly across his cheek as he moved causing his left eye to twitch reflexively. He sighed briefly as his left hand moved the the blade that still rested upon his back and began to draw it from the sheath. The blade held in his right hand was shifted as well, as his grip changed to a backhanded one with a smooth circular motion. His eyes began to glow blue once more as his energy was gathered to prepare for an all out attack. Once Marius had fully drawn the second katana, he would actually bow his head slightly as his right hand was held down so that the back of the blade was against the back of his arm with the tip just showing over his shoulder. His left hand was held out diagonally and down so that the tip of his blade was a half foot above the water and his feet had shifted into a light stance that had him on the balls of his feet.

"Waaaah!"
Was all that was uttered as Rayn fell out of basically nothingness.
Rayn hit the hard ground with a thump, then looking frantically to anyone nearby.
She got up painfully, and hid behind a tree, a streak of nude flesh, for she wasn't wearing anything at all.
The young girl peeked out from behind the tree, shaing a bit from the pain in her backside.

Dawn cursed as the man drew his second katana and his eyes pulsed, realizing that he was about to be hit with a full onslaught by his opponent. "The smarter option would be to run...." he muttered to himself out loud, understanding he could end this fight right now by vanishing on his opponent. Damn honor code. Bringing his sword up so it ran parallel to his body as he stood up, knees bent as he prepared for the second attack. Suddenly his eyes shifted to a deep purple hue and his entire body began to be enveloped in a dark purple aura, his outline wavering hazily as he stood there. Shadows Dance: Second Step! First form!! he thought as he concentrated, bringing his full concentration into bear. This was not his most powerful physical spell, but it was his most demanding to use. As he pulsed eerily he waited for his opponent respectfully, realizing that this technique was far more effective on the defensive....

Marius' left and right hand formed different symbols with the thumb, forefinger, and middle finger as he began shifting his weight slowly. His body began to weave to and fro like the snake dances that were common parlor tricks in many places. As he moved, the air around the blades began to shimmer slightly and where they cut through the air left a haze that lingered for over a minute before dissipating. He lifted slightly on the balls of his feet once more before taking a sudden hop to the left followed by a weaving motion back to the right. It would become immediately apparent that his speed and agility were being raised simply by the way he was moving but unless he stopped he would be unable to bring his full strength into an attack. He dashed at the man with his odd weaving and as he did, the blades slid through the air leaving crescent shaped hazes at points that seemed nearly random but all pointed towards his opponent. Once he got within ten feet of the man he would rotate once more into a spin that sent him on a curving route around the man and as he spun he would slash strongly upward with his left katana leaving a haze like 'wall' where he had originated. He would then attempt to circle widely around his opponent looking for an opening or opportunity.

Dawn watched as the hazy blades of wind closed with him, followed by their creator closely. Dawn's eyes narrowed, as his focus reached its peak and then he struck. Two blades flashed out, dimantling the first of the wind blades. Yet Dawn had only moved his right arm which held his nagimaki, so there could only be one blade. Suddenly it became clear. The second blade, no second arm, was a purple "shadow" of his actual arm. Thus one arm had become two, and Dawn was able to cut down the blades twice as fast as would normally be physically possible. It would seem that his shadow had taken on its own form and will, serving to protect him. And then he made a surprise move. Turning away from the wind he moved to watch his opponent, leaving himself unguarded from the wind blades. But no, the shadow form continued to knock them down as they came, leaving Dawn open to watch his opponent. Dawn and his shadow never left physical contact with each other, yet both acted completely independently, or so it seemed.....

Kuro's brooding growl was cut short as a high pitched wail was heard followed by a thud. She blinked raising an eyebrow before leaning back against a tree. She scanned the area and caught site of a young aura.
Bored as she was, Kuro would not seek out the aura, she sat down quietly at the base of the tree, glancing at her claws in subtle manner. She would wait and see if the aura came to her.

Marius smiled as the weak blades were blocked, the wall was the true purpose of the attack and as the man turned to face him and gave him time to get to a location opposite the wall his grin became fierce and his eyes flared as he twirled slashing along the ground before jumping and spinning the blades to either side leaving hazy trails along both sides that headed towards the other wall, and one along the ground that was heading towards the man. His grip shifted slightly before he threw his right blade upward as it spun so that it made a hazy wave twenty feet above the ground and his left hand shifted to swipe the air before him. As the hazes each moved to meet one another he would hold his right hand forward and complete a final symbol before speaking a new word of power that would solidify the walls and form a prison of sorts.
His grip on the left katana remained in case his opponent escaped the walls and appeared near him. Should the man remain within the walls they would began to compress increasing the air pressure and in direct relation the density of the walls themselves, if he disappeared however the walls would push in whatever direction Marius choose including towards himself should it become needed.

Dawn blinked as suddenly he was encaged by a wall of haze, glancing about for a moment as he deflected the last of the attacks. He grimaced slightly as he realized that the pressure was rising and sighed, channeling his focus once more. "Second stage...." Suddenly he became pure shadow, a dark hazy form standing there in the midst of the compressing air. And then the shadow fell away into nothingness, leaving no one within the wall. Dawn meanwhile stood crocuhed on the upper branch of a nearby tree, sizing up his opponent. The second stage, substitution, had already been used. Man, at this rate this guy would find out about all of his techniques. How bothersome. He sighed gently, his outline still hazy from the shadow dance. So, what now.....

As the man, or rather his shadow faded away, Marius sighed and opened his right hand. The prison burst suddenly, sending a torrent of air outward in all directions and as he closed his eyes he felt with the air for the few seconds it was still his to control for his opponent. The left hand maintained it's symbol and the reason would soon become clear as he felt with the wind the outline of a person in a nearby tree. After all, a common fallacy of gravity was a tendency for things to be pulled back towards the mass generating it. However his blade had remained airbourne since it's release and as he got a brief impression of someone in a tree it shot out in a sudden stab at the person. After stabbing where Marius had recieved the impression of a body, it would retract just as quickly to his person so that he was once more armed with two blades both held backhanded now and at his sides. Once this was done his left hand would also release it's symbol and his eyes would cease to glow as he neared the limits of his power and began to conserve it for need instead of desire.

Dawn grimaced as sudddenly he felt a sharp pain in his chest where the blade hit him. He hadn't expected that and stumbled back a bit as blood trickled down his side. It was fortunate that the shadow was still entwined around him, protecting him, or that blow could have been fatal. Taking a deep breath to steady himself he stood up slowly and looked down at the man, his shadow still there but beginning to waver badly as his mental focus deteriorated. He'd only get one more shot out of that technique before it disappated, leaving him once more in an awkward position. This fight was starting to drag on. "Satisfied yet?" he asked out loud as he stood there on the branch, looking down at his opponent....

Marius' head turned up towards the man as he said, " My only satisfaction is in defeating those that have beaten me. If you would like to end this now that is fine. I've learned a few new things fighting with you and would be fine having the rest of the day to think on them." As he spoke his eyes narrowed and an odd afterimage appeared standing behind him reaching out towards his shoulder as though trying to get his attention before fading away like a mirage. " They feel near but I can't see them yet." He muttered as he waited on the other man.

"Oh?" Dawn said curiously before smiling, jumping down from the branch and taking a few steps forward. "Hm, I could use some incentive to train. Tell you what, I'll finish this fight up now so you can have one more person to defeat...." He chuckled softly as he brought his sword up to point at the man before bringin back behind him as though winding up for something. His body tensed as he stood there, preparing for his next attack....

Marius' attention returned to his opponent's weapon as he himself sunk into a crouching state with his left foot forward and held his hands in front of his face so that his blades formed an upside down L and his eyes remained neutral as he tensed his muscles and prepared to sacrifice to win. He had two techniques remaining for this fight, one would use his remaining wind magic, and the other was personal. He waited calmly for the man's next technique as he let his mind empty and became one with the blades.

Dawn gimaced as his entire body tnesed all at once, activating his most powerful technique. Ogre Slayer!! His body seemed to bulge for a second before settling down, leaving him standing there in a crouch for a moment. Unbeknonst to his opponent, he had just lifted the subconscious limits on his body, multiplying his physical strength by a factor of five for a single attack. "Block this!!!" he yelled before taking off across the ground, his speed incredibly fast due to his increased leg strength. As he closed the gap he put all of his strength and momentum into a single cross slash, hoping to take out his opponent in one blow, whether he blocked or not....

Marius' eyes widened at the man's sudden speed and as he was rushed he decided that sometimes simplicity was best and attempted to use the man's own speed against him by speaking one of his words and forming a weak wall of air a couple feet in front of the man's face. It would be easy to break through since it was weakened by the way it was cast but he was aiming for the nose in hopes of causing disorientation. Whether or not the wall worked he would shift his blades into an X shaped block that left the blades reinforcing each other against one another and his arms. He planned to block and then counter with the outer blade but if the man's attack had continued, he would find himself slammed to the side and would wince as the man's blade cut deeply into his side just below his bottom ribs. The slash would cut nearly three inches into the left side but stop just shy of the lungs due to the ice armor. If the man had been stopped then Marius would wait for the next cue to act.
