K takes Luke's hand and shakes it appreciatively. "Well, it's good to see you again." Tilting his head in Cora's direction. "Same to you Cora, how have you been?"

Tac slowly slid off the table to land on the floor after trying to steady it to no avail. "As long as Aetas isn't testing me again I'm ok...hell...what am I saying, its the Brink, even he can't reporoduce this place." He rights himself and stands, dusting himself off, noticing pieces of the pistol scattered about, "Dammit!" He sighed and shrugged, looking to Cora, wanting to embrace her in a hug....but there was like...everybody around. And Tac wasn't exactly for public displays of affection unless he could forget people were around. Forgetting he was good at, but this... He decided just to keep silent for the moment.

*Luke hears that "for the moment" part, loud and clear. His brow furrows, deep.* *It was naive, he admitted. But part of him had hoped that somehow the Seraphim has been defeated, all while Luke continued on with his life eons away.*
*Stupid, he thinks.*
*He remembers how upset he had Maggie last time. He doesn't like sounding like an a**, so...*
Maggie, I'm sorry. *Then with a little more fuel in his words.* No one should have to live like that.

*Maggie looks up at Luke's words, silent for a moment. An intensely upset look passes over her face, but she shuts her eyes abruptly* I . . . no. No one should.
*she rises, opening her eyes again but keeping them fixed on her hands* Luke . . . please, excuse me . . .
*she turns and moves towards the guest room hallway, her eyes on the ground the whole way*

No, K, you have not missed much. The Captain is able-bodied now, though it seems he's lost some of his power from his attack. Thankfully though, he was able to teach me my personal technique. I will show you sometime.
:::She catches a glimpse of Tac, she smiles at him, and wonders why he hasn't come to join them. But suddenly the smile fades when she remembers what happened previously in the Brink...:::

Tac tried to get a word in, "Co...Cora...Co...C...Cora!" He made a 'calm down' motion with his hands, "Just like cool it. I'm ok. Aside from having to cut off the singed portions of hair and do a bit of work on my coat. Can't rightly say how long its been, where I am time is kinda like it is here, but completely random. Some days time passes at hours a second, others, its stopped entirely. My watch says its been over 400 years, but hell, I don't know." He paused for a moment, almost hesitant to continue as he remembered their conversation for a while ago, the visit before he encountered John-john.

*Luke sighs and he watches Maggie leave.* *Intones "goddammit" under his breath. Luke shakes his head. He doesn't understand why he's so bothered by it --- but he is nonetheless.*
*He contemplates going after her... but he certainly has no desire to. When he sees Bard follow after her, he lets out a breath of relief.*
*There's something to be thankful about.*
*Thinking is a heavy activity for Luke. He declares.* I need a drink.
*He goes to get one.*
