((hm, dunno, i guess it would depend on how Tk used his clone.))
Whirlipede clashed with Drilbur, Drilbur clashed with Whirlipede. Both Pokemon continuously exchanged attacks. Whirlipede would attack with a Venoshock, Drilbur would Evade with a Drill Rush. Spike would attack with Metal claw, Whirlipede would counter with Poison Tail.
Both Takamaru and Burgh continued to shout Commands with practiced skill. It was clear that Tk had gotten a firm grasp on Burghs pattern. All that was left was to manipulate that pattern to give him the winning edge.
"Strike with Rollout!" Burgh called, Whirlipede having just gotten within range after dodging a metal claw from Spike. The roll out connected, sending the un-prepared Spike towards one of the tree's and surrounded the perimeter of the battlefield that was Burgh's Gym.
"Stop your self with Rapid Spin!, counter with Sandstorm rush!" tk called, Spike slowed himself with a Rapid spin, then kicking off from the tree he would have collided with, Launching into a Drill Run. however, surrounding the Drill rush was a torrent of Sand. Sandstorm.
This was the reason that Tk had Spike practice controlling the sand from the sandstorm on Route 4. However, this move was unpracticed and Bugged, if Spike messed up the speed of one of his rotations, then his concentration would break, resulting in the loss of control of the surrounding sandstorm.
As of now, every thing seemed to be going according to plan. Burgh had ordered Whirlipede to dodge with roll out. he was fast enough to avoid a head on collision with Spike, but he wasn't fast enough to avoid the vaccume affect of the sandstorm that spiraled with Spike. Thus, being sucked into the Spiral, unable to get a hold of any bearings with the constant motion.
So when spike stopped the Sandstorm and Drill run simultaneously, and fell gracefully to the ground, Burghs Whirlipede was sent hurtling into the edge of the Arena. Ending the round. it took burgh a moment to retreive his fainted Whirlipede.
"Well well well, your style of battle is a real... work of art." you could see the twinkle of inspiration in his eye. His brain already formatting his next work of art based off there battle.
"Yea...Thanks" Takamaru said. It just occurred to him how tired he was, he also seemed to have worked up quite the sweat. on the other hand, Burgh seemed to be nice n cool, as well as Dry.
what Takamaru, nor his clone, didn't know, was that the real Tk's aura was contently being depleted every moment his clone was materialized. He'd been materialized for hours, since the night before. If he didn't cut off his line of Aura to his Clone soon, he'd risk loosing his life from Aura over use. Though he had no way of knowing this.
So there battle continued, Tk returning spike who was weary with exhaustion, and reaching for Saira's Heavy ball. Burgh, after returning the Feinted Whirlipede, Removed his third and final pokeball. The next match would end this.
((Any volunteers for cluing Tk in about Aura?))

((Burgh has an aura of poshness. Maybe he recognizes regular Aura too)) Meditation wasn’t doing Salieri any good. As she sat crosslegged in silence, she began to get irritated. How am I supposed to train when I don’t even know what Nianzhu is supposed to be?The extent of her ability so far was feeling where her blood was in her body. Not a very impressive superpower, but Salieri knew there was more to it. Jump had told her Aura abilities are unique to everybody. With those odds, her ability could really be anything. He also told her that Moze thought he had the same one as her. Which would be impossible, wouldn’t it? Perhaps it had something to do with genetics as well. She had never seen him display Aura powers. Or at least she didn’t think so. There wasn’t much information to go off of. She sighed. Greed, hatred, and delusion. Those were the things she needed to remove to have full mastery and to “control heself”. Moze had told Jump that Nianzhu was like being a master of your own domain, and Jump had mentioned something about high speed back. But Sal was certain the Interpol Agent had completely misinterpreted that last part and was just putting together words that sounded remotely similar. He’s a nice guy, Moze, but couldn’t you have picked out someone who’s more attentive? It wasn’t something she felt like she could just call him about. On top of questions about Aura, she still had other questions to ask him. Like why her suspicions were correct about him not trying to find a cure. It was definitely not in Moze’s methods of operation to go on a suicide mission for the rest of his life. So he had to be doing something else that would save him, right? It was too complicated to make sense of. And Salieri wanted to talk to him in person about it. So she was still on her own, with little information to go off of. Salieri opened her eyes and took on a much more relaxed seating position on the boulder, staring out at the sea through her orange Go-Goggles. The sandstorm was only serving as a further distraction. She sighed. “You have to focus, Sal. Come on, girl.” She thought back to what she was doing when her Aura activated. The Battle Girl had been replicating the training of ancient Shaolin Monks. With enough practice, they were able to sense the movement of blood in their veins. Many people were skeptical about this so-called ability, but the monks claimed all humans had the potential for it. Scientists later declared this phenomenon as “biofeedback”, the ability to train yourself to feel and control your body’s processes- Master of my domain…controlling myself…high speed back = biofeedback? Salieri slapped a palm to her forehead. “Jump, you idiot.” Was that it? A biofeedback ability? The possibility couldn’t be ruled out, although she wasn’t exactly sure how greed, hatred and delusion worked their way into blocking it. It had to be experimented on. Salieri looked down at her arms. After two hours in the desert, the sandstorm was starting to scratch her skin. It must have been easy for Liuye Dao, who was armored, to deal with. What if my skin was armor too?She continued to stare at her arms, furrowing her brow and concentrating. Perhaps she had to be very specific about the changes. So she started to will her skin to become denser. When she could feel her blood, she could feel something else as well. It must have been Aura. She concentrated until she could feel that Aura again. And then it happened. On the back of her forearm, a large patch of skin looked slightly darker. And when the sandstorm pelted at it, nothing occurred. She didn’t feel any slight pains. Salieri touched the patch. It was smooth but tough, like a scab. She rose an eyebrow. “It’s a start,” she muttered to herself as she tried to will her skin back to normal. Switching back to its normal, more durable form was a little harder to do. And didn’t feel as good. But until she worked out the nuances of her ability, Salieri wanted to keep her body to a “default mode.” She was about to try experimenting again when her xtransceiver beeped, startling her. She had not expected to get service this far out in the desert. The Battle Girl opened it to see a message from Henrietta. From Henrietta:~Hey, it's Henrietta! If it's possible, would you guys meet me at my house in Nimbasa today? Here's the address . I think around 7pm should be good.
Oh, and I don't know Wayne's contact information. Could you please tell him the time and place?~
Salieri looked at the time. It was 3 o’clock. If she left now she could make it to Nimbasa with some time to spare before going to Henrietta’s. Training her pokemon would be cut a little short, but they could always train more later. She typed up two messages.
To Henrietta: ~Okay, I’ll be there…
Salieri paused mid-typing. She had never been invited to someone else’s house before like this. Not as a friend. Was she supposed to act a certain way? Do something, bring something? She twitched her nose. Having friends was a tricky thing.
~And I’ll bring snacks.~ SENT
To Wayne: ~Hey cowboy, let’s go to Henrietta’s house. , 7 PM. Bring snacks!~ SENT
The xtransceiver beeped off again. Salieri stood up and stretched, ready to round up her pokemon. The Battle Girl turned to look down the beach where Chen Zhen, Salem and Haizhe trained.
Two figures with backpacks and weird computers stood by her pokemon, talking to them about something. Salieri folded her arms and jumped off the boulder, making her way down the rocky beach to meet up with her team. “What’s going on over here?”

((He has Auradar))
Wayne's Xtransceiver beeped, but it wasn't Salieri's name that came up. The sandstorm had become heavy, shrouding the desert in a dense fog of speeding sand. Wayne took shelter underneath a large rock with an overhang, sitting in the clear like a pensive caveman. His pokémon trained in the distance; Hitmonlee's Blaze Kick was improving in size and reach, while Duosion was all over the place with bright and colourful techniques. Elizabeth's picture came up on the screen.
"Hey," Wayne said, subdued. He couldn't imagine the kind of stress she was under. It showed on her face; Elizabeth normally looked the best side of perfect, but right now she appeared tired, older than her years. ["Hi... Just calling to see how you are,"] she spoke quietly, voice crackling with the poor signal. ["What are you up to?"] Wayne frowned. "How is she?" Elizabeth looked relieved that he'd asked. ["There hasn't been any change and I don't know what else the doctors can do here. We're flying out to see a specialist in an hour, we think it might have something to do with Aura, and there's a man in Kanto who might be able to help. My dad hasn't had much time for me since..."] She trailed off. Elizabeth's father was also the president of Silph Co. He'd once spoiled his daughter whenever he could, but they'd rarely spoken since Elizabeth decided to raise Wayne. ["Someone must have told him what happened, because he's arranged the flights himself. At least he still loves Katelyn, thank god."]
"Wait, you're leaving Unova?" Wayne's heart skipped a beat, "Seriously? You're getting out of here?" Elizabeth managed what looked like the first smile in decades. It seemed to fight its way onto her lips, ["Eager to get rid of me?"] "Yes! Totally!" Wayne leapt to his feet, but came right back down when he cracked his head on the rock. He pressed down hard on the bump, hoping that tears wouldn't leak out and make him look stupid. "Please, just, wherever this specialist guy is, make sure you're well hidden. I mean it. Hide out at Faraway Island if you have to. Or at least somewhere that's unexplodable." ["I don't think anywhere is--"] "With you guys outta here I don't have to worry about you getting hurt," Wayne said, "I know some guys who wanna help with catching the guys who blew up Kero's place. I'm gonna get revenge for Katelyn, don't you worry!"
Elizabeth looked heartbroken. Wayne did not expect that. ["Wayne... these people, they're insane. And they're dangerous. Look at me. I don't want you trying to take them on. I nearly lost one child, I... I could still lose her. I don't think I could bear anything to happen to you."] "But Katelyn..." ["What happened to her is horrible. I swear, I absolutely detest the people who did this, but it's not your place to go seeking revenge."] Wayne swallowed. He was starting to feel angry, "Then whose place is it?"
---
"Rraaaargh!" Zack swept his arm down, a trail of fire blazing from his fingertips. The fire clung to the air then detonated, creating an arc of sequential explosions.
Jackie hurried to the side, her high-level Natural Infusion protecting her from the blast's overpressure. It was powerful, tearing up chunks of earth and vaporising them. But no matter how powerful an attack, it was useless without control. She avoided Zack's explosion and threw her fingertips forward; thin strands shot out, looking like hair but made from Aura.
Zack expected it, turning on his foot and kicking towards Jackie's technique, a blast erupting practically in the woman's face. Practically, but not quite. The movement was too big; a child could've seen what he was doing. Jackie avoided the blast at the last second, sliding her hand down Zack's foot and grabbing his ankle. She braced herself and threw his foot skyward, launching Zack into a flip.
He brought his fists up as he soared, containing the momentum and bringing his arms down, generating a fiery blast as he punched the air. It was immense, swamping the burned out forest floor with a wealth of intense flame.
"Predictable!" Jackie shouted in his ear. She'd followed Zack up, but when he looked back at her, she yanked her arm away and he jerked to the side. The foot that she'd touched before was connected to Jackie's fingertips by those hair-like Aura strands. She moved Zack like a single-string puppet, dragging him out of the sky and crashing into the ground.
Jackie landed, folded her arms in victory as Zack coughed up dirt.
"That was cheap," he growled, picking himself up from the floor, dried, and slightly-on-fire soil falling from his shoulders. "I'll take that as an admission of my greatness." Jackie smirked, shaking her head to flick her hair back behind her shoulders. "You're way too easy to read. I'd say it's because you're out of practice, but I don't want to lie." "Don't do that," Zack rushed forward and executed a punch that created a huge ball of flame, "You'll hurt my feelings!"
Jackie rolled her eyes when he started and yanked the strand up again, pulling Zack's foot into the air and sending the fire attack flailing into the sky. Zack hit the floor with a crack and Jackie aimed her fingers at him. Shooting out like bullets, the strands would latch onto each of Zack's limbs and his torso. With a flex of her fingers, Jackie lifted Zack onto his feet.
"Your problem," Jackie said as Zack tried to struggle against his bonds, "is that you've only got one attack. If you can't blow something up in a single strike, what makes you think trying over and over is going to work?" "Just gotta land one," Zack growled. Jackie frowned slightly and raised her hand; Zack's fingers clenched around his throat and began to dig in. "That approach might've worked in the past, but right now you have to get creative," she mimicked the squeeze with her fingers, face stone cold serious, "because if this was a real fight, you'd be dead already."
She let Zack go, and the aura strands seemed to retract into her fingertips. Zack hit the floor, wheezing, but soon standing back up. He glared at Jackie, not out of fear or respect or even anger; his glare was a mask to hide his incomprehension.
"Every technique has a most effective range. Go too far or hit too short, and the effectiveness of that move is decreased. You attempt to hit everywhere at once, and because of that you've got a complete lack of focus. And the worst thing? Your movements have gotten really sloppy."
"I trained every day at Village Bridge," Zack replied. "And with nobody decent to practise with, you wound up training yourself in bad form. Stop trying to make excuses! You think Plasma's gonna give a s**t how hard you can hit a punching ******** you." "This is your problem. It's always been your problem! You can't deal with anything that you can't just brush off! It's exactly that attitude that got Esme killed!"
Zack's eyes shot wide. He vanished from place, just a kick of dirt behind him as he shot forward, palm on Jackie's throat and fingers tilting her head back. She stared down at him, unflinching, just pity and disgust. Zack met her eyes, teeth clenching hard. He tore his head away, dropping it to stare at the floor.
Slowly, Zack's fingers loosened and he dropped his arm. Jacqueline put her hand on his hunched shoulder and straightened his back. Zack looked up and she wrapped her arms around him. Tenderness was something they both struggled with; Jacqueline even had trouble showing affection to her niece. The gesture, then, was appreciated. Zack started to hug her back, letting the guilt and shame that flooded him at the mention of Esme's name just wash away. He closed his eyes. He felt at ease.
Wham! Jackie brought her knee down and shoved Zack away. He clutched his stomach. "Enough of that," she said, cold again, "but you get my point, right?" Zack nodded slowly, winded, "Yeah..." "You're going to learn to be creative with your powers. That's the only way you have of standing a chance against a Sage." "I know..." "And learn some discipline. Real discipline. Your attacks are ridiculously telegraphed and slow," Jackie barked, hands on her hips, "and don't ever touch my neck again!" "Fine!" "And I'll kill you if Jump ever finds out I gave you a hug!"
---
Duosion was getting frustrated. He wanted to attack, but at the same time he didn't. Ever since he evolved, he felt like he was sharing head space with himself. They agreed that both of them were as legitimate as the other, they were both the same pokémon that Solosis had been, but that was about all they could agree on.
Himonlee was nearly impossible to catch. He'd started using his high speed leg extensions at a much smaller range. Instead of shooting at high distances in a single bound, he was darting from foot to foot, practically teleporting from one part of their battleground to the other in rapid succession. He wasn't even getting tired out!
And he'd attack as well. Instead of staying back and evading, Hitmonlee kept attacking, laying waste to Duosion's barriers with Brick Break or attempting to cook him with Blaze Kick. The normal tactic of using Telekinesis didn't see to like working; every time, Hitmonlee anticipated it coming and flipped around to burn through the wave with a fiery kick.
Was it because he knew what Duosion was like? Was the tactic that easy to defeat if you knew it was coming? No! It couldn't be, could it? It could, it could. That was exactly it! What was the point in using Telekinesis at all now?! But wait, maybe it was like any other psychic ability. The only reason it was burning out was because Duosion wasn't strong enough. They had to keep trying, it was the only way!
That's ridiculous. Playing defensive wouldn't work, they had to attack with everything they had. Hitmonlee's always been fragile; one hit would end it! But how are they going to hit him if they can't slow him down? They had to set up before trying to attack. But that would just waste time!
Telekinesis shot out at the same time Duosion attempted to use a Psyshock; the build-up of energy was taken right out of the psychic wave and it fizzled out, while the Psyshock had no control and just manifested a psychic pop of light.
[FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUU-] Duosion screamed as Hitmonlee shot up, getting right in his face and sending a foot cracking into him.
[What's with me?!] Duosion cried, spinning backwards through the air and glowing with a Recover. [What am I talking about?! I'm the one who used the wrong move!] [No, I am!] [Ohohoho, no I'm not. I'm seriously starting to piss me off with that attitude.] [Listen, half-brain, I know I think I know what's best, but I seriously don't.] [That's what I keep trying to tell me!] [Look out!]
Hitmonlee kicked out with a Blaze Kick. When he'd first learned the technique, all he was managing was a short wave of fire. But as he practised, he felt for sure that he'd done all this before, like his body was just remembering how. And he knew that he had practice changing up and tweaking the force of this technique. He just had to exert himself a little more, and he was pretty much kicking around a Flamethrower attack.
Duosion called up a Light Screen and it worked perfectly. He rolled back through the air, but Hitmonlee used the time to land on top of the Light Screen and smash it with Brick Break, then kick forward before it shattered for a final blow.
But wait. Was that...? Duosion's eyes flashed blue. An opening! Now it was definitely time to attack!
---
"Hey guys! I just got a text off Sal! We gotta do our gym match and cross the desert by 7! Guys?"
Hitmonlee had a black spot on his chest that was slightly smoking. And Duosion kept speeding around in circles, frantic.
[I freakin' told me that Psyshock would work!] [Okay, so maybe I was right this time but that doesn't prove anything!]
"Uh... guys?"
[I detest psychics...] Hitmonlee groaned from the floor.

“Stop this madness at once!” cried the short, bearded old man. He was dressed in full on desert exploration gear, complete with a huge backpack, beige hat and a complicated looking pad of a computer. “This site could have great historic value!”
“They’re just pokemon, they don’t understand,” said his assistant, a man who looked like he was in his mid twenties. He had some stubble on his face, and was lean and lanky. Also decked out in the same gear as his employer. The assistant shook his head. “Though I do wonder what these species are doing out here. Especially an Espeon.”
[I could not agree more, gentlemen,] Haizhe concurred as he floated besides the two researchers. The Frillish shook his head as well. [Tsk tsk. History should be cherished, not trampled on by the youth of today. We should suck out their fluids-]
A vine from Chen Zhen’s wrist wrapped around the Frillish’s midsection, yanking him back over to the Pansage and Espeon. [You’re supposed to be on our side!] Chen Zhen released his grip on Haizhe and looked to Salem. [What should we do?]
[Stop destroying rocks?] she suggested. A small frown appeared on her face. [But it’s so much fun…]
The assistant lifted a pokeball from his belt. “Look, I’m asking you guys nicely to leave and let us work. I don’t want to-“ “Is there a problem here?”
The two researchers looked over at Salieri, who was approaching them. “Are these your pokemon?” asked the old man. “Yeah. Like I said, got a problem with that?” “We came all the way out here to try and find ancient history, but with your pokemon using this area as training grounds it may all become buried. Can you please call them off?”
Salieri sighed. Normally, if someone wanted to interrupt her training they’d receive some sort of bruise. But since she was already planning on leaving, she just shrugged. “I don’t see why not, so long as you stop heckling my team. I don’t know what you’d find out here, though. I’ve been up and down this whole beach, it’s just rocks and sand.”
“Hmph.” The assistant pointed to the cliffside. “What we’re looking for requires careful excavation. A naïve trainer like you wouldn’t understand.”
Now this statement, Salieri had a problem with. “Ex-cuse me? What kind of trainer do you think I am, noodle arms?”
The lanky man’s face flushed red at the insult. “You’re a pokemon trainer, but you still use a Pansage? Don’t you know what their stats are when they evolve?” The lanky man turned the screen of his computer pad to face the Battle Girl. It showed a picture of a Drilbur. “Now a pokemon like Drilbur that can evolve into an Excadrill, that’s useful. High stats, good typing, great abilities.”
Salieri and Chen Zhen looked at the picture and exchanged glances. They tried to stifle laughter, but couldn’t for long. The duo had to hold their stomachs as they began to laugh and point at noodle arms. It only made the assistant more flustered. “What’s so funny?”
The old man chuckled as he released a huge tent from an item ball. The tent was already set up, although the insides were empty. “You may be correct about statistics, Simon, but there’s more to pokemon battling than that.”
“What the old man said.” Salieri put a hand on her hip, still grinning. “Seriously? You sound like you’ve never been in a battle against a pokemon that knows more than three moves.”
Simon clenched his fists together. “Dr. Markus, do you mind if I have a pokemon battle right now? It won’t be long.”
The doctor shrugged absentmindedly as he put down his huge backpack and started removing other item balls. “Fine by me. Our base should be easy enough to set up. Perhaps you can learn something in these next five minutes.”
****
Five minutes later, Dr. Markus wiped the sweat from his brow and looked upon his tent. The inside was fully furnished with computing machinery, measuring tools, his notebooks: everything he’d need for his mobile lab. The doctor turned around.
He saw Chen Zhen applying a bandaid to Simon’s Drilbur. The small mole looked thankful, but embarrassed. Simon was scratching his head in confusion at something Salieri was telling him.
“So when I used Metal Claw to pop your Air Balloon and was left open in the air…how would you have done that?” “Well I would have used some sort of projectile until Chen Zhen was open to that attack. You can’t just charge into a tactic without a backup plan, okay?”
Simon nodded, using a stylus to jot down notes on his computer pad. “Fascinating… I’m sorry I doubted your pokemon training skills. It appears I have much to learn.” “It’s cool, I’m used to it. I’m sure your historian skills are up to par.”
“I’m glad you could settle your dispute, Simon.” Dr. Markus held up two glasses of water from inside the tent. “Now all of you, come inside for a drink. It’s important to stay properly hydrated out here.”
They did so. Inside the tent, Salieri did not need her goggles. She took them off, and when Dr. Markus caught a glimpse of her amber eyes, he was intrigued. “Ah. So you’re Native Unovan, I see!”
Salieri looked up from her water. Native Unovan. “Excuse me?”
Suddenly, the Doctor looked apologetic, like he had said something wrong. “Oh no no no, I meant that with no offense! Please forgive me. It’s just that I’ve not met a Native Unovan in a long time. It’s always an interesting sight to meet people with such a rich history.”
Salieri tilted her head to the side and sipped on her water. “Why would I take that offensively?”
“I, uh…I’m not sure. Nevermind.” Eager to change the subject, he pointed at a computer monitor. “Would you like to see what we’re working on? We’re tracking Sigilyph flights patterns around the desert and believe that the areas they circle over are of significance, like this one.”
She wished he hadn’t gone on that segue. Native Unovan? She had never heard of that race before. Salieri knew she and Moze looked different than other people, but she never knew what her race was. Until now. There was a pang of curiosity in her mind, but she pushed it away. Asking more would mean she’d have to explain why she had no idea what her heritage was. It was a long story.
Sal put her glass down on the table. “Birdwatching sounds like a blast, but I have to get to Nimbasa City by seven o’clock and I still have training to do before that. I need to get going.” “Are you sure you have to go? If you’re not out of the desert by nightfall, it gets cold.” Simon gestured to a cot behind his seat. “You’re welcome to stay the night if you need to.” “Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll make it out.”
The doctor smiled and extended a hand. “Thank you for cooperating with us. If you’re ever near Driftveil City, be sure to stop by and visit our laboratory. It’s in the route to the north.”
Salieri shook his hand, and then Simon’s. “No problem. Good luck with your research! I’ll see you around someday.”
The Battle Girl departed from the tent, where her pokemon waited for her outside. She patted the top of Chen Zhen’s head. “It’s nice to meet random people who aren’t trying to liberate my pokemon or kill me.”
Native Unovan…before now, Salieri didn’t care about her heritage. She never thought she’d find out what it was. With this new information about herself, she felt a little more whole. It wasn’t until now that she was curious. Leaving this tent meant leaving behind the answers she could obtain.
But finding them meant reconnecting with a past she was never a part of. Salieri had a goal in mind, and that goal did not include trying to find out where she came from. Whoever put her on the dojo’s doorsteps dropped her into a new life. She was Salieri Del Forrest, not someone else. Even if she was Native Unovan, it changed nothing. This journey was not about who she could have been. This journey was about who she was now.
“Anyway, we need to get out of the desert. Let’s grab Wukong and Liuye Dao.”

Large waves of sand erupted from the dune Wukong kicked in frustration. The maximum temperature he could exert was higher then when he started his training, but he still could not make glass out of sand. He did, however, learn how to form his Heat Wave into a shotgun-like blast for widespread destruction by gargling the energy in his mouth. The discovery was made out of boredom, as was his new move: Fire Spin.
In the swirling desert wind, Wukong found his flames disappearing quickly. To counteract this, he tried to spin his flames around as he conjured them. It only worked to an extent, but Wukong continued to try spinning the flames he created until he could sustain them as fire-y tornados for a couple of seconds.
The Monferno held his palms together, concentrating on the tiny fire twister in between them. It went out after five seconds. An improvement in time, but this was a smaller size than what he wanted to use in combat. He looked over his shoulder and saw Liuye Dao walking up to him. [I know, it's amazing.]
Thanks to the Pawniard's Steel typing, his stamina was unaffected by the weather. The Pansage leaves he had eaten gave him the energy to run through the soft sand with a boulder on his back. So he was feeling great. Liuye looked at the miniature Fire Spin, shrugged, and walked to sit on the dune.
A vein popped on Wukong's head. [Well don't bite your tongue,] he mumbled under his breath. Salieri and the rest of her pokemon came into view over the cliffside, riding on another flat boulder Salem levitated.
"We're getting to Nimbasa early to meet up with Henrietta," Salieri informed her Pawniard and Monferno as they jumped onto the boulder. Salem saw in her mind's eyes the loayout of the environment, and the boulder sped off in a beeline straight for the overpass marking Route 4's end. "But we'll have more time for training later. So? What's up with you guys?"
Monferno showed her a small twister of flame that danced in his palm. "Fire Spin? Pretty neat, that's innovative. Did you turn sand into glass?"
Wukong's jaw dropped. dropping the tornado into his lap where it spun into nothingness. "Eh, maybe next time. Liuye, what about you?"
Liuye just nodded and chopped at the air. Yellow sparks of electricity danced on his arm. Salieri eyed the Neuroshock technique closely. It had been her idea in the first place, but now she was thinking about applying it on her own. "Does that technique hurt to use, Liuye?"
He shook his head no. Now that he had it under control, it was as easy as blinking. "Did it hurt to learn?" He thought for a moment, then nodded. Before learning where to correctly course the Thunder Wave through his conductive body, firing off the wrong synapses was very painful.
Salieri frowned. The Battle Girl patted Liuye on the bladeless back of his head. "If I knew it would've hurt so bad I wouldn't have left you alone to learn it by yourself. I'm sorry, buddy." Her frown turned into a smug grin again. "But hey, you're a pro at this now. Look at how far you've come."
Hearing his trainer give such praise made Liuye Dao feel elated. He simply gave her a salute, which caused Sal to giggle, but the Pawniard was beaming. For Liuye, serving Master Salieri was his pride and joy.
With her Go-Goggles back on the brave the desert, Salieri took a seat at the front of the ride. She wanted to see the end of the desert as soon as it was in view.

Wayne's training was done, and so N's creeping was done as well. The green trainer left and continued on north though Route 4.
His behavior with his pokemon when he knew N was around...was the same as when he didn't. There was no facade. Perhaps he was one of the few who understood how pokemon were meant to be treated.
[Didn't get the results you thought you would?] Zero questioned with a hint of mockery in her voice. The Zoroark was now undisguised. N sighed.
"I'm not sure what I expect from him, at this point. All of these trainers are bringing in factors I did not account for." The candidates were all showing qualities N thought would be so common among them. But then again, they had always shown promise.
"Reid's platoon should be in Nimbasa City by now. I'll meet with them to get a mission report. Maybe they caught something about these trainers that I did not. Something that would make them fit into the equation more smoothly."
Zero shrugged. [Oh, I should have known. You do have a habit of overlooking huge details.]
"Nonsense. That disguise would have worked if the lighting was-" [N. Not a chance.] She clapped a paw on her trainer's shoulder. [Next time leave the disguises up to me.]

((I think ill just clue him in at the meeting. Also, like my last couple posts, dont mind any bad grammar or spelling errors on my part. Took me at least an hour and a half to type this on my aunts tiny little netbook and i just don't have the patience to go through it and fix it up.))
"Now...Air slash!" Tk called, his breaths coming in short and weak.
In the time it took Tk to call his attack Burgh had already issued a sting of commands that his Leavanny was executing gracefully. Striking out with a Razar leaf as a distraction, then closing the distance between Herself and Saria to strike with an X-Scissor. Neither attack was very effective, but for every one Command Tk called, Burgh called three.
Tk knew if he didn't shape up he'd cost them the Gym match. But he just couldn't find his second wind, he had nothing left and it still felt like energy was being pulled from him.
"Dammit!" He hissed, curling his hand into a fist. Wasn't there anything he could do!?
Just as he was mental preparing for his defeat, His Tk doppelganger nudged him on the shoulder. The Real Tk turned to look at him, Surprised to see him steadily growing fainter and fainter by the second.
"How...what are you doing?" It was an Honest question from a concerned Tk. though he still wasn't entirely sure who his doppelganger was. The now see through doppelganger just shrugged.
"Dunno, just something i know how to do." even though he knew it didn't make sense, it was as subconscious ability to dematirialize himself when his original's in danger of depleting all his aura. Since the original Tk still doesn't know about Aura, Neither was his doppelganger.
Closing his eye's Tk felt a rush of energy surge through him as well as a mental feeling of what felt like a Zipper being zipped up. This was the process of his clone being pulled back into the original. So when he re-opened his eye's, his Doppelganger was gone.
"Whoa..." was all he could muster at the sensation. He didn't have long to dwell on it though as he heard Saria's Cries from the battle field. Snapping him back to the battle at hand.
"Saria!"
The Skarmory turned when she heard her name. Both her and Tk making brief eye contact. he nodded, he was back in the game. Saira, turning back to her opponent let loos a mighty call.
"I dont know what you were doing over there with that vanishing act, but i take it that wasn't your brother!?" burgh called.
"To be honest, i don't really know!" Tk called back, happy that burgh let up on the attack while he was pre-occupied. "Sorry, promise it wont happen again!"
Burgh nodded to that, "Good, now lets finish this, i have an idea for an astonishing work of art!"
"Fine by me, Saria, Air cutter, Max power!" Tk called, to which Saria screeched loudly as an affirmative, bringing her wings together in a series of might strokes. Launching a torrent of slicing air towards Leavanny.
"Bravo! Leavanny, Strike back with Leaf storm with as much energy as you can muster!"
"That was a fantastic battle young man!" Burgh said, approaching Tk who was sitting on the mossy battlefield, Saria's Head resting on his lap, himself petting her along her beak. Both Saria and Leavanny fainted. But being as Spike was never Ko'd, Tk was declared the victor.
"Hehe, yea it was, im still trembling from that final attack!"
"Agreed, i have goosebumps that i don't think will go away for some time."
Before Tk could reply, his x-tranceiver went off, alerting him that he had a message. Two in fact. One from Henrietta that came as a surprise, the other from Hiba.
"you seem to be a pretty popular guy, Here, Take this to prove your victory here today uh..."
"Takamaru, my names Takamaru. But my friends call me Tk"
"Ah, yes, Tk. I award you this badge to prove your victory here today." Burgh finished, Handing Tk an insect badge.
Tk took it gratefully. "I don't mean to win and Run but i wanna get my team to the Pokemon center asap." The young trainer said standing, Returning Saria to her heavy ball. "Thanks for the battle, see ya' around!" Tk called back as he ran towards the exit of the Gym.
"hm, Charming boy." Burhg said, waving to Tks back.

((I never go through and fix my posts.))
((Part 1/2, it's ******** hot so ima shower and write the rest in a bit.))
Training in two ways was something Henrietta hadn't properly done before. Now that she'd gone about it, it seemed like an improvement for her Pokemon. First and foremost, it let them increase areas that were usually called stats. These didn't include agility or anything, but were endurance(hp), strength(atk), durability(defense), mental strength(spatk), elemental durability(spdef) and speed.
Secondly, she'd set her Pokemon about to master their abilities. First was Darumi.
"So far you've shown some great control and physical power," she said. Placing her hands on her hips, she looked at Darumi who'd finished his physical work out. "I think there's two directions we should go. Both of them take the same concept. You need to master both your control of your flames as well as your control of your inner energy."
She pointed to a rock. "Try centering your energy in your hand to just break that rock. At the same time, you should try focusing your flames into your other, create an orb of it." Essentially Brick Break and Sunny Day.
Next was Socant. "Your body lets you skitter about pretty effectively. However, I think we can find a way to maximize your ability to move with your legs to increase your speed. Once you get the hang of it, try using electricity with it how you used your barriers to create a sort of armor with it. It'll let us take advantage of the battlefield with quick movements that can dual to attacks." Agility and Wild Charge.
She turned to Frate. "So far you've been able to armor yourself to withstand some heavy attacks. Before you were also able to shatter the ground. I think if we work to control this we can master it as an upwards and a downwards attack using the environment. Try controlling how the stones moving using angles and force." Stone Edge and Bulldoze.
Then she turned to Bastion. The little guy looked tuckered out, but Henrietta knew she'd have to push him to get him stronger. "You should work on your bubbles. Try and focus your water internally to shoot it out like a stream. She considered things for a moment.
Something else, too, I think. Henrietta knelt down and held out a finger. "You have the move tackle, so I think your head is pretty strong. But what about your jaw? Go ahead and try biting my finger." He did, it wasn't really hard. Not like the move itself - Bite. "You should work on that, too." Water Gun and Bite.
Finally, Henrietta turned to Melty. Standing up and walking over to him she knelt down again and examined him. He'd sat out the training, and he looked pretty grumpy despite still looking pretty weakened. "I don't think typical methods are going to work. So, maybe we can find the solution through some inner peace? Try meditating, calming yourself. If we can find the root of the problem I think we can heal it." Melty, who couldn't respond, simply closed his one eye.
Henrietta's Pokemon then set about training as Henrietta herself did. A different type, however, as she sat down and tried to bring forth her aura. Coat just her tank top. Not the entire thing, a portion of it. It wouldn't mean anything if the crystals weren't also strong - so she set about down that road, to see if she could strengthen them.

"Thank you" Takamaru said with a inclination of his head as the nurse took Iron Hide, spike and Saria's Pokeballs. He made his way back to the Pokemon center right after the battle. Lancer, who Tk let out of his ball on there way to the Pokemon center was hanging onto his shoulder as he walked to a bench inside the center. Taking out his X-tranceiver, Tk opend up Henrietta's message first. From Henrietta:~Hey, it's Henrietta! If it's possible, would you guys meet me at my house in Nimbasa today? Here's the address . I think around 7pm should be good. ~
Nimbasa? for some reason Tk always pictured Henrietta to live someplace a bit more...Rural. Either way he typed in his response.
To Henrietta:
~ Yea, ill be there.~
SENT
Next was Hiba's message.
From Hiba:
~Hey bro, Dont wait up for me when you get to Nimbasa. See ya in the morning~
Tk leaned back against the bench with a sigh. knowing Hiba he probably got himself into trouble, or was out chasing women. either way he knew Hiba would turn up eventually. He just hoped he hadn't gotten into trouble with the wrong people, Plasma people.
-Ding dong- "Takamaru Takashi, please come to the front desk" came a ladies voice from the PA box. His Pokemon had been healed.
After retrieving his Pokemon and feeding them, he set off towards Route 4. passing a group of dancer's on his way. Now distracted, he walked over to watch the wrest of there performance. It was only 3:30, he had time.
From the way they were dressed as well as there skin color, Tk assumed they were Brazilian. There dance was Capoeira styled, the same way Tk fought Eunmi in the tournament, though he his skills were far from the level of the dancer's.
When the three dancer's performance had ended and the crowd dispersed, Tk approached. "That was great, you guys are amazing!" Tk said.
"Thank ya man, we work really hard on our skills everyday to get good." one of the dancers said.
"Ya, lot o' work an sweat" another said.
"Ay lil man, you dance?" the last asked.
"eh, kinda. Im not very good though." Tk said scratching the back of his head, kind of embarrassed.
"c'mon then, lets see whatcha got" the second dancer said, putting the stereo on.
Gulping, Tk removed his back back, sitting it by the fountain along with lancer. "O-ok, here I go." he said, nervous as hell.
When he finished he sat on the edge of the fountain, wiping away sweat with a Towl Antonio handed him.
"Not bad, not bad." Antonio said. "Who taught you?"
Tk shook his head, "No one, its just something i started immitating when i was younger."
"That explains why you lack the basics" Mercelo replied. Tk nodded.
"Anyways, whats your name lil man?" Fernando asked.
"Takamaru, but you can call me Tk" Tk said
"Nice ta' meet cha Tk, Im Marcelo" the first dancer introduced himself.
"Im Fernando, the middle brother"
"and im Antonio, the youngest"
to Tk, Antonio didn't look that much older than himself. "Nice to meet you all"
"Tk, how bout we teach you the basics of Capoiera" Marcelo offered.
"y-Yea! Thatd be awesome. But, why?" Why would complete strangers want to take time out of there day to teach him? The four of them were out in the open in broad day light, so Tk was sure they weren't up to anything fishy.
"Because lil man, dancing connects people, just like it connected you to us. It might even save your life one day!" Fernando said, laughing at his own joke.
"Dont mind my brother, his jokes are always terrible" Antonio said to Tk in a whisper. Both started to chuckle.
"Right then, how bout we get started ay?" Marcelo asked, to which Tk nodded. The three brother's then began teaching Tk the basics of Capoiera in front of the fountain of Castelia, just before the entrance to route 4.
