[Nick :: Atlantis :: Outside Throne Room]
Nick grinned at his clone as his gambit succeeded. "I could only wish everyone else was successful as I am, for I am simply the best there is." He muttered to himself before watching his clone take a spear to the chest. The clone fell immediately, uttering a simple "fu-" before vanishing into nothing. The Dark Knight's eyes widened as the earth seemed to shift and small rock pillars sprouted from the ground, slamming Nick and knocking him backwards. He groaned, not so much from the pain, but the sudden surprise of the attack.
Even more reinforcements!? Are you kidding me!? Who do I have to kill to get a freakin' break around here? He mentally screamed, looking up to see a girl in green staring angrily at him. His shock turned to amusement as he made his way back towards his sword as fast as he could.
Well, well, well, what have we here? If it isn't blondie, everyone's favorite girl who I thought broke down in Tortuga! Well, looks like I get to have even more fun~

[Noelle ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Noelle suddenly felt the transit of Kyle and Kyla halt violently, bringing her to turn and witness Kyle's encasement. She hardly had time to cry out in surprise before it was done. Kyla emerged from the ground after him, running to the dark shell with glass arrows in her arm and back. What the hell had happened? There wasn't even time enough to spare for questions or confusion, the agromancer had to act if they all wanted to make it out alive.
'Kyla's a freaking danger to herself.' Noelle growled, growing some vines that reached toward Kyla to gently pull her away and keep her from worsening her injuries.
"Joe, Matt, SOMEONE, heal Kyla before she bleeds out!" She shouted urgently over the charms, sounding agitated.
The blonde could suddenly feel her spear back in her hand, meaning it had done its job and returned, also meaning she had another problem to deal with. Noelle turned back to see her masked opponent reaching back for his weapon. She moved quickly, scooping up a handful of earth. It immediately formed a sphere in her hand, which she threw heavy-handedly at Nick. The earthen ball would explode into hundreds of tiny needle-like shards as soon as it neared him.

[Alice :: Atlantis :: Outside the Throne Room]
Joe might have barreled through the dragon, but the giant beast stayed afloat above the battlefield. Slowly, the pieces mended themselves, fixing the gaping hole that Joe had created in its chest. It reared its head and roared soundlessly, as poisonous fumes continued to spew from his mouth. He wheeled around and dived towards the ground; taking no heed at the fast approaching floor. Upon impact, he exploded, debris flying out like bullets but even worse was the miasma that was now working its way on covering the battlefield.
Alice shrouded herself, twisting the space so that she appeared invisible to the naked eye. She teleported behind Matthew, striking the mage with her poisoned nails and wrapping herself in a toxic mist.
She then teleported a short distance away, conjuring up spheres of poison to revolve around her.
"Seems to me like you're lacking a partner~" The poison princess smiled slyly as she hugged her stuffed bunny closer to her chest. "Care to dance with me?"

[ Kyle's Chrysalis : Atlantis : Outside Throne Room ]The solid cocoon didn't budge or take damage in the slightest from their attempts. On the contrary, any who got too close (such as Kyla) would feel an odd sense of dread; the object was pure, coalesced Darkness, charged with negative energy to unheard-of limits. As moments passed, the chrysalis seemed to shift, its form growing in detail. It became clear that it wasn't simply an egg--it was, in some cruel twist, an black flower bud made of obsidian-like stone. With each second ticked by, the bud's crystal petals grew more and more defined, like a many-petaled black lily. The normally-thin petals were clearly outlined, but there were so many of them that it was almost impossible to tell one from another.

[ Ajora ; Kida ; King : Atlantis : Throne Room ].:Are you quite through wasting time?:.Oh, shut your mouth, do you realize how difficult it is juggling all these hot irons?
Ajora finally opened his eyes, having been in a state of silent meditation for a few minutes, the Trident's glow slowly fading. He had used it to ensure that things outside went off without a hitch, such as charging his copies with excess magic and keeping the massive spell weave around Kyle from unraveling at any particular point. Now, though, everything was in motion--all that was needed was time for the momentum to build.
Meanwhile--
Without so much as a word, Ajora pointed the Trident at Kida and pulled her clear from the protective barrier--and her father's grasp--and held her afloat in front of him. Reaching into a small, hand-sized Corridor, he pulled out a small, golden circlet: a Slave Crown. Though she grunted in protest against the Trident's magic, it all came to a stop the moment the crown was slipped upon her head.
"Time to take the Heart of Atlantis, then."
--- "Oh? Pardon me, but between Kyla and the others, who was it that threw the first blow, precisely?" Ajora's voice called in return to Louis, his amusement as clear as his "friend's" sarcasm; as if it wasn't clear enough, he laughed. "Not my 'guard dogs', as you call them. And who was foolish enough to let his host even think starting such a constest would end without, how you say, ruin and/or death? Though, perhaps I give you too little credit--your ideal goal is death, anyway, right? So bravo, sir, bravo."

[Kyla: Atlantis: Outside throne room]
{{ edited}}
“Damnit! This thing- it can’t be! It can’t be changing him can it?! We’ve got to get him out!”
Kyla used Meta slash at the transforming cocoon over and over and over and nothing- nothing worked! Not even a nick or scratch on the whole damn thing! Just as he was about to give up some power and try a larger Birn Strike something grabbed her, creeping along her limbs. She looked down and saw it was vines- but who used-!!?
Noelle?! The artist looked behind her at the spear user. “Noelle?” She heard the girl then call out for a medic for her- ‘Oh.’ It helped in a way that Kyla was beyond feeling her injuries, it helped her fight- but the girl had a point she couldn’t just ignore them either.
“ Tyue! Do what you can!”
Kyla squirmed, got her arms free of the vines then used Meta slash to cut them. " Sorry Noelle."
Thanks for reminding me - of myself.
Turning around she returned to work on the …bud? The details were forming, Kyla didn’t like the sick symbolic shape this thing was taking but it did give her a new direction to take this.
‘ Can’t give up- Can’t give up- there’s got to be a way to save him!’ With carbuncle aloft at her side Kyla reached out for the flower and began trying to rip it open.
It was cold to the touch. She felt anxious, afraid, and the anxiety sent shivers down her spine. It was like she was touching something unholy, something cursed. Her fingers threaded between the petals- She could try to pry them loose- but the thing was still crystal. Trying to make the plant open before it was ready wasn't going to be easy. But worse- this things was drawing power from something big. She could feel it.
Meanwhile Carbuncle began to use Ruby light on her wounds. “The arrows are still inside-“ “ Then pull them out!” ”- but-“ “ Don’t think- just do it! Pull the ones on the shoulder out from the front, then do the same with the other. Push it through and out. Not back. The arrow head will make it worse if you try to pull in reverse.” The summon did as asked and grabbing the thin shafts in her teeth the creature began to yank the arrows out one at a time. Kyla almost cried out, but she couldn't or else Tyue may stop. With a gasping breath she strained her next request.
"-w...w..when y..you're done..ff---ffocus.. y--your power on..the inside. I..I don't care about..the openings...try to ..heal.th-..the inside..-th- that's what.c-...coun.. what counts."
The tiny blue summon made a noise of understanding and kept yanking the arrows out inch by inch. Kyla opened her book and tried ot think of something. If only there was a way to cut this thing off form it's source. That root surely had to be the channel it was using. But... if Ajora did this. He had the Trident- and even with a drive it would still be more powerful wouldn't it?
Then what? What could she do. Noelle's panicked tone back to her and she had one last idea... It was all she had left. Cue: Distance from You
There was little to no chance no chance that this would help. But she had to try.
~You’re biggest asset is your optimism, even with that sad face yours- you somehow, on some level, never stopped believing.~
‘Who said that again?’
Kyla closed her book. She knew nothing she threw at it offensively was going to work. She’d need a power stronger then the trident- and that was something she just didn't possess. She’d have to call down the wrath of kingdom hearts itself to counter it’s might, and the Heart of Atlantis. But maybe there was a small link to something else close to that...
[Kyle?]
[ Hey it’s me. Look, I can only imagine what is going on in there but listen- I need you to try and fight this. Ok?]
[…I’m not the best at pick me up talks so- I’ll just be straight with you ok? I need you. And I don’t care what insecurities you’re probably listening to right now but none of them are true alright? None of them!]
She floated closer to the bud again and placed both her hands on it, fighting the urge to run or flinch from the powerful ominous waves that came from it. Instead she seemed to embrace it in one final last effort to reach the person locked inside. She used the charms as the initial link- but some part of her hoped that something else was reaching out and connecting to him. Something like what ever had helped them communicate that night before, when he left with half the team.
[This world, it’s filled with endless possibilities. Even the weakest person has the potential to bring down the sky itself. If I could have picked the scenario in which I was challenged to fight in order to bring back my family- it would have been this place. It’s a terrifying place; where your own fears and weaknesses inside become your worst enemies- trust me I know.]
-~Meet them halfway-~ ‘I’ll try again Joe.’
[I know I’m pretty detached a lot. I don’t speak up a lot, and I certainly didn't give any sign that I appreciated everything you’ve done for us- but – I’m really glad I met you Kyle. I know you probably don’t believe me, but I don’t say this often- I hoped we could be friends. I’ve never had friends before- even now I have this habit of referring to everyone around me as... comrades, or..or teammates. Never friends. Friends is too dangerous. Friends mean that if they’re taken from you- you risk the chance of getting hurt. I lost all who mattered to me- I couldn't risk being broken under that loss. You see it yet Kyle? You’re my greatest weakness. You dangled this precious gift of friendship in my face and like a fool I snatched that opportunity when I kept denying to myself that I did. But I did. And if you…if we loose you know…I don’t think, I could handle it. You always encouraged me to keep trying. You challenged me in all my talents, my creativity, my intelligence, and my perseverance. I thought I twisted person like myself wouldn't be of any used to someone so filled with sunshine- but you proved me wrong. I started feeling- like a person. Like a real person, who- who deserves to exist. I keep forgetting that. And I’ll keep forgetting, - so..so I need you to remind me! OK? I know- that sounds pretty selfish. I wasn't able to protect anyone.. my little brother. My Mother, my Father… and …I did something..horrible to my sister. Kyle I did something horrible to her- nobody has any idea what I unleashed into this world. One of these days- I’ll have to pay for this sin of mine. I’ll have ot take back the seed of darkness I sewn into this place, but I hoped you’d be there to help me face it. ]
[ The truth is.. I can’t do things alone. I act like I can- I take unnecessary risks because on some level I believe I deserve to die. There! I admit it! Yes, I deserve it. My existence has been nothing but trouble to everyone around me. So I’ll keep fighting to atone for… being alive. That’s the guilt I carry inside me. It feel so heavy sometimes. But I cling to this hope you see- this light hovering high above me in the dark ocean. And...it’s strange- but when I think of Hope, I see your face sometimes. I see you there Kyle. I have no doubt in my mind you carry something heavy inside you- it explains how you..heh…why you take the same risks I do. Tyue keeps telling me how alike you and I are on the inside. Is this true? Are you really a mess like me? Could have fooled me. But it’s nice to know I’m not alone. I’m tired of being alone Kyle. So please- come out of there. This thing that has you is too powerful for me to break myself. It’s changing you- I know it. I don’t want you to change Kyle. This is Kingdom Hearts for pete sake! No matter how bad it gets- here- in this world, anyone, no matter how broken and lost can ALWAYS find the strength to resist! They can find the strength inside to do the impossible! I’ll keep believing in that! I have to. It’s all I have. I’ll believe in the impossible, because it’s already happened to me. So- come out… please? I’ll fight for you Kyle- but I refuse to fight you. I believe you’re stronger than this. You’re stronger than Ajora. Ina sick way- Ajora knows this too. I had an interesting talk with him. Even that psycho knows you’re potential. He’s counting on us- yeah you heard me. Freaky huh?! He’s betting on us to defeat the darkness that awaits us all at the end. He’s part of you- right? So he knows what’s in your heart too. He knows you can do the impossible here too. So please- don’t give in. Come out. Everyone is waiting for you. You can get yourself out- or change this situation in your favor. I know deep down you must know that. right?Because I'll keep fighting for you Kyle. Joe says I should meet people halfway- so here it goes. Are you there? Answer me Kyle. I'm waiting for you just outside.]
Oh God was this corny! Sappy- and overly honest. It turned her all shades of embarrassed. And what if he didn't listen to her? He didn't before- her words couldn't reach him, and there was no reason for it to work now was there? But Kyla clung to that hope. That small little hope inside her messed up heart that this would be one of those times. One of those times when life cut her a break. Maybe it wouldn't stop this processes, but maybe it would plant the seed inside Kyle that would trigger some kind of countering effect. Sometimes all it takes is a little word right? A hug? Something to remind the person that they aren't so powerless against their own darkness.
So Kyla held onto the crystalline bud, resting her cheek on the surface as Carbuncle finally pulled one of the arrows free and focused on healing the damage inside. Kyla felt sleepy- and a little numb now. Something wet dripped and smeared the surface of the flower.

((I'm not dead, I swear!))
{Bobbi .:. Atlantis .:. Outside Throne Room}
Bobbi had shut her eyes as tightly as possible the second Noelle's sled went into motion. It hadn't helped the one time she'd been on a roller coaster, but it was better than seeing the imminent death heading her way at high velocity.
"Hang tight, Bobbi, you won't die I promise," she heard Noelle say over the rush of the wind.
"Good to know," the archer quipped, trying to sound as cheery as if this was nothing more exiting than a Sunday drive. Her voice breaking at the end ruined the illusion, though. And, of course, the little squeak of surprise when she was snatched off the sled by the vines and deposited on the ground. Her knees wouldn't hold, so she crouched, and forced herself to open her eyes. The world spun for a moment, but she took in the scene before her.
~:I think now would be a good time to start shooting, child.:~
Give me a minute, okay?!
It took Bobbi a few seconds to discover her knees weren't going to hold, so she just remained in her crouch as she summoned Taulmaril and set arrow to string. After a moment of concentration, the arrow began to glow with the Hailstorm spell, and she loosed, aiming for the first target she saw, the contortionist-archer attacking Joe. Less than a heartbeat later, a second Hailstorm arrow was in flight, headed for Ajora and Nick.
She spared a moment to watch Noelle's earthen dome sink underground, supposedly with Kyle and Kyla inside. Slight movement in the earth showed the dome heading her way.
And then all hell broke loose.
It almost didn't register, mostly because she'd been paying more attention to the people than the surroundings. But the dark twisters coalesced into one at a point in front of her, followed shortly by darkness and what looked like Kyle in the midst of it. No, two Kyles, but one wearing… oh god dammit, that was Ajora.
Her reflexes were really improving. She was on her feet and had three arrows in the air aimed for that second Ajora before she even realized she was moving. Pity they all missed.
She knew there was nothing she could do. Not from here. She heard Noelle scream to heal Kyla, but the only spell Bobbi had would be useless with wounds that severe. And Kyla, that silly pictomancer, was right freaking there and apparently getting all emotional at the thing encasing Kyle. All Bobbi could do was watch. Wait. And she was not a patient person.
"F*ck it. I'm blowing this place up. Shiva, halp?"
~:You have only to ask.:~
:"Prepare to dodge sh*t as if your life depended on it. I have no idea if friendly fire is on, and I'm blowing sh*t sky high,": the Archer sent over the charms, hoping everyone had communications open enough to hear.
Once again, Bobbi knelt, this time placing her palms flat against the ground. She felt Shiva's magic coursing through her, and unleashed the biggest Ice Barrage she could manage. As the spires of ice erupted all around, she concentrated as hard as she could to direct them. Several erupted under Artemis, Alice, and the Obsidian Lily, while others that slipped outside of her control simply shot up haphazardly. It was all she could do to keep the spikes from impaling her friends, but a few were likely to explode near enough that dodging was necessary. Still, she made sure to force the spires away from Kyla, and instead tried aiming them at the base of the Lily, when they weren't trying to impale the mobile enemies.
"Dammit, Kyle, I swear to God if you don't bust out of that thing in the next five minutes I'm breaking the hell out of it and dragging it home and if I find out you've given in to any of this stupid bullsh*t going on I'm going to give you such a SPANKING."

[Matthew :-: Atlantis :-: Outside Throne Room]
After Mixing the buffs for Joe, Matt saw the stone dragon he had phased through crash into the ground. As a hunk of rock hurtled towards him, he realised that he didn't have a hope to dodge out of the way in time. So instead he braced himself for impact, and then caught it as it collided with him. He managed to not get bowled over with his strength, but the impact had left his chest and stomach more than a little sore.
He then felt a tearing sensation on his back as it was clawed at by a new attacker. He sucked in air sharply through clenched teeth, then spun to see who it could have been. Looking past the rock in his arms, he spotted what looked like Jenny from earlier. She was certainly a different person, but there was something familiar about her... Suddenly he recalled the vision he received over the charms when he first joined the group. She was the one who destroyed Joe's eye. Noelle's shout went unheard as Matt became filled with rage. "You wanna dance? Then let's dance!" he said, then hurled the large rock directly at the woman. He followed through with his right arm, motioning it towards the ground. In doing so he called down a Comet, also on a collision course with her.

[[Louis : ??? : Inside a Crystal w/ Ajora#(how many is that now?)]] "Death is but a means to the goal... a means I don't wish to invoke on my hosts... I cannot keep my hosts complacent for their own good while keeping them from their own desires of violence, even if I tell them otherwise. I realize that taking this mode of action sets us up to undoubtedly clash but it's an action I must take. I've done my best to prevent having to oppose you directly as undoubtedly your plans are another face of the coin on which we both sit... but continue to step in my way and I'll be forced to turn the entirety of my power on you regardless of my better wishes. And don't smirk and take that lightly, the trident won't protect you forever."---------------- [[??? : Atlantis : Inside Bobbi]] As the girl sat on her hands and knees, surging power into the stone floor causing eruptions of ice across the battlefield, there was a shift. The shadow cast by Bobbi's body before her face became excessively dark. In the back of her mind, a voice echoed, "You're running out of time..."

[ Ajora : ??? : ??? ]
"Of course not. I don't plan to have it after Atlantis, anyway," he responded with a jovial laugh--as if that were obvious. "Still, you're awful entitled, little specter. You can interfere with my plans, but not vice versa? No, I do believe that promise is a mutual one. You're actually quite lucky I find you amusing, I'm not normally so forgiving, as Joseph can now plainly see, haha~!"

[[Louis : ??? : Inside a Crystal w/ Ajora#(let's say 2)]]
"Specter, huh... not a bad description, entitled, not so much. I can't let you have ALL the pieces. Wouldn't be much of a chess game if all I had was a king and a few pawns," the presence faded some before returning with a slight laugh, "Not to get too off topic, but I thought I'd say, despite my goals being against it and the fuzziness of my memories in regards to that situation, his pain brings me a certain level of satisfaction. Joe's stubbornness and outright blind prejudice has been a thorn in my side since day one. So, for that, I should probably thank you while I still have the chance. In a few minutes I might be fighting you, but that's just how this game works after all. It's nothing personal."
"Anyway... that said and while I have your attention," Louis sighed, "I'll be blunt, and excuse me for this rant but... I honestly don't understand why you're here in the first place. All this for the Heart of Atlantis? Immortality? Free from growing old? Power to control the guardians of the city? I mean, I can sort of understand why you'd want it... but what good does any of that do for you right at this moment? It won't make you invulnerable... you could still be killed... and as it stands, even if those pathetic idiots could actually pull themselves together to fight you, THAT would be the greatest threat to your life... not aging. And while the rest of your conversation with Kyla was very intriguing, that show there at the end... I know you're one for theatrics... but you never struck me as one for flexing your muscles like that. What's really the point of all this? You can't seriously expect me to believe that your hope is to unite these fools against you and become some unholy messiah to foil the darkness. I'm aware how powerful they... it... is... we've both encountered them and it's pointless to fight it... it's not something you can fight... it simply is. Hell, if I'm correct in my assumptions, they are what both of us draw our power from... well... half of yours. At least if you were going to fight them you aught to have went after something a little more... helpful. At least I tried to do something meaningful for securing positions at the present... of course... those plans were surprisingly ruined despite all my preparation and contingency efforts... and now here I am."
An audible deep breath, though one wasn't actually necessarily, "What I'm trying to say is... I don't see why the Heart of Atlantis is this important. You're drawing too much attention to yourself for something so insignificant."

[Artemis ~ Atlantis ~ Outside Throne Room]
Attacks were coming from everywhere, now, threatening to overwhelm the archer. Artemis was a long-distance fighter, and Joe's aggressive attacks were certainly testing her evasive skills. She released her arrow as Joe approached, following it with a blast of air at her own feet, allowing her to propel herself to the side and out of harm's way. She wasn't fast enough to completely avoid Bobbi's Hailstorm attack, though. Two shards of ice sunk into her back by the time she was able to make it out of the way, using another blast of air to toss her up. It was lucky that she did, because seconds later there was another eruption of ice, but this time from the earth. Artemis continued to use a cushion of air to keep her aloft and temporarily safe from harm.
Feeling mildly irritated, she found a safe place to land farther away from her attackers. Sparing no extra time, Artemis cast Ink. The dome of twilight encompassed a smaller area than usual, encircling Kyle, Kyla, Joe, and herself. This wasn't going to be enough, however--Joe was obviously a wind user and could easily scope her out. The contortionist created four wind clones of herself; wind-currents taking her form that would feel like her presence if Joe tried to use his own currents to feel where she was. Leaving one in her spot, she dispersed herself with the others, avoiding the small fires Matt had left in his wake to be sure she wouldn't be illuminated.
Her bird-like eyes caught Kyla clinging to Kyle's encasement. With a smirk, she drew two arrows at once and took aim for the girl's spine. Putting her out of commission was far from a necessity, she was weakened and wasn't going to last much longer, it was merely an act of cruel superiority and control. Artemis loosed the arrows and immediately took aim again, shooting at Joe yet again.

{Bobbi .:. Atlantis .:. Outside Throne Room (aka "The Fustercluck")}
"You're running out of time..."
Oh god, more voices in my head. Wonderful.
"Ya think?!" Bobbi growled, letting Ice Barrage die off a little so she could focus the spires more accurately. She didn't like that dome the contortionist-archer made, so she focused most of the spires there while still trying to crack the obsidian egg Kyle was in.

[Joe: Atlantis: Outside Throne Room]
The fighter clicked is tongue as the archer dodged him, but now he had 'aerial support' in the form of Bobbi, so luckily he could still have the advantage. Well, until the archer summoned a darkness that covered him and lord knows who else. Regardless, he could still feel her out by sending out his wind.
Which turned out to be a bust, considering there were now five things that felt like the archer. And he had a feeling he knew what she was going for, if her past actions said anything.
Joe flung out his hand, a small orb of wind flying out in the direction Kyla was in, hitting the girl and then expanding to form a wind barrier to help try and deflect any more arrows going that way. Of course, right when Joe thought he felt something else fly through the darkness, he felt an arrow fly into his shoulder.
No time for pain or grunting, Joe dashed in the direction the arrow came from, a mini tornado surrounded him as he tried to slam into what he thought was the archer. Even if he just grazed it, if he could confirm that was the real one, then maybe he could slam it up into the air for a quick aerial combo. And if it wasn't...well, he could just dash into all of them till he found her, the tornado with each dash helping to protect him against more arrows, and his speed to help evade and catch.
