First, I doubt that; eggs do not hatch and hatchlings do not mature before 3.49 days no matter how many clicks/views they have. The only exception is when you force an egg, but if you want lots of views/clicks to successfully force it that doesn't make it an emergency. Eggs or hatchlings are emergencies when they run low on time so they would die without our help. Wanting or needing scroll space for a trade, more eggs, or being eager to find out what gender your dragon is, while understandable (I'm always impatiently waiting for the 3.49 mark myself, as well as for wings on any except pink and purple) does not make an emergency.

Second, I don't care how often these people can post their eggs, the rules clearly state '2 days or less'. If they (or you) can not post their eggs they should go to an EGGSITTER thread, not an EMERGENCY thread. 2 days or less means up to 2.0, although we have been lenient and don't generally complain when people post eggs with 2.x days (I guess a lot of people see the '2' and panic, even when it says '2.97' in full rolleyes )

Third, I've been here since June or so, and not a single egg posted with 1.0-3.0 days left has died -except for a few weeks when we weren't allowed to walk eggs without permission- because several people like me check this thread very regularly, and we can save one in a matter of hours. Eggs with 0.5 days left almost always make it, and even a good lot of those in the 0.02-0.1 range are saved.
HOWEVER, eggs/hatchlings spammed that were posted with MORE than 3.5 days have sometimes died, because we do not walk them yet (it's much more of a hassle if I have to keep an eye on the stats rather than just see if it's either hatched or grown into an adult). So by the time it *is* an emergency it's a couple pages back and we may easily overlook it.

Last of all, people who keep ignoring the rules tend to end up on our ignore lists, meaning we won't see any of your posts anymore -including any you might make with real emergencies. Cry wolf once too often...

Egg was abandoned. 2 days left. Permission to walk until it hatches GRANTED.
