~ I KNOW that.~ Thunder claps from the clear sky, accentuating his angered point. ~ It's not something to toss around or give away, but you have to do what you can when you can, because you're never gonna be happy for long. Sooner or later, your pride and joy, your love will ALWAYS be taken from you.~ That's it, right there. That small tirade is everything life has taught Reeve.

Iri opens one eye. Thunder? When the hell did a storm move in? I don't remember seeing clouds on my way here...
She sits up enough to look over the bed and out her window. Not a cloud in sight. Not a drop of rain. Not even a stiff wind to herald a storm. Iri quirks an eyebrow. Odd...

Fenris was sitting alone against a wall in the bathing area, still clothed and such, waiting for Reeve... still. She frowned, staring up as lightning struck through the sky. Something was telling her that it would be a very bad idea to go looking for him right now.

~That's the single most selfish thing I've ever heard, Reeve Rhion, and I never expected to hear something like it from you, not to mention that it's off-subject. One thing made you happy, and now you're giving up something else that made you happy. Don't give me your pity story, you're bringing it all on yourself.~

"Bring it on myself?" Reeve is so incensed that he forgets to mind link and yells aloud. "I didn't ask NOR choose for Sarya to abandon me. I didn't ask nor choose for my son to die. I didn't ask for Fenris to be possessed, and I DAMN sure didn't choose for her to die."

~Calm yourself, I'm not blaming you for any of that! I'm saying that you put yourself in your current predicament. Not only did you assist in the revival of Fenris, but you began a new relationship before you were over the last. You want fairness, but you're not being fair to yourself or either of these women.~

All the shouting startles Iri into full wakefulness. It also startles her into falling over from her sitting position. The wings protect her shoulders, but not her head. Ouch.
Iri sits up, rubbing her head and muttering a string of curses fit to put a sailor to shame. She's not happy. In fact, she's feeling a little cranky. She didn't get the amount of sleep she needed before flying off to Durem the first time. And all that's happened since then has been stressful and draining. She needs sleep. But it doesn't seem like she's going to get it.

~ How could I not bring her back, knowing there was a chance?~ Reeve sighs, looking up at the sky.

~It's of my own opinion that the cycle of life should be kept the way it is. Despite what Bloodline Abilities Sephiroth may possess.~

~ 'The cycle of life should be kept the way it is.' She was possessed by a DEMON. How's that natural? She deserves to live her life as her own.~ (( Trouble is, so can I, and worse, so can Reeve.))

((No, Fen, the 'Cycle of Life' is, "Birth. Live. Reproduce. Death." There is no rebirth. Silly, Silly Fenris. You have obviously never seen "The Lion King." ))
~Demons live too, Reeve, however much we hate them. A Natural cause of death is anything that is not man-powered or man-made. If you're killed by a bear, it is not an unnatural cause of death. The bear is higher on the food chain. As are demons.~
