Anyone seen Noir?
If so, is it worth watching? I'm thinking of purchasing myself some DvDs sometime in the near future, and I remember seeing Noir in the shop.

Tsukasa Elric Anyone seen Noir? If so, is it worth watching? I'm thinking of purchasing myself some DvDs sometime in the near future, and I remember seeing Noir in the shop. Wasn't very good, in my opinion. I managed to make if through the first disc or so, and it felt very lopsided. Might I reccomend Getbackers, GTO, or (unsurprisingly) Full Metal Panic?

Unlike most other series, I actually have seen Noir the whole way through. While I did enjoy the storyline, at times it seemed a bit too vague and sometimes repetative. If you hate over-use of annoying bgms, this one might get on your nerves. Other than that, I liked it. sweatdrop Edit: The first disk is not that great. The series gets better as the storyline moves on and you start to figure things out.

[you don't need to read this...it's just my emo rant]
My emoness is because a big fight with my mother. She's trying to press her beliefs onto me and calling me closed minded to religion because I choose not to believe in it. I keep telling her she can believe what she wants but it's only fair if I can believe what I want to as well. She said she would leave me alone about it then today presses it onto me once more and criticizes me for my beliefs. That and the fact that the contact with the person closest to me is now limited due to her parents taking away her phone because of a ridiculously high phone bill in which I warned her about. I'm very upset about this as is she. I'm at a loss. This all happened yesterday, and by the end, I was a mess. I had to force myself to sleep early in hopes of sleeping it all off. I know it isn't hormonal things because uh, that's not possible at the moment.

I'm open to suggestions at the moment. The deciding factor really is whether or not I can find it in the store. sweatdrop And as it happens, MVC isn't really known for it's J-anime. But hey, when study leave starts (13th May) I'ma be looking around during weekdays (when I don't have exams, obviously) for places of employment, so then I'll have cash to check out more new series. heart
