A bolt of lightning cracks down near the two, and when the light dies, Reeve is standing there, looking furious. "Oi. Get'cha hands offa her."

Rippuku turned to face reeve. He looked the man over a bit, then said, " Where is the nearest city?"

Rippuku replied, " blah blah blah. I said nearest. That means from here, which direction is the nearest city. Not 'is there one within a days leasuirely walk'. Use your damn brain and answer the question."

Ignoring seph's question, Rippuku turned to face him. " Point me in the direction of the nearest city and I'll take my foul mouth with me. "

Seph's voice had steadily been gaining a bit of the Protector's accent, a very slight Brit-like sound. Another sign that The Protector was beginning to lose control over his and Sephiroth's mind.
"Just wondering. Surely you can establish yourself as a notable Evil-Doer without being so cliché as to swear." His gaze fell and locked with 'Rippuku''s.
"And why would you like to know the whereabouts of the 'nearest city,' if I might ask?"

Fenris looked up at Sephiroth, blinking a few times while holding her abdomen in pain. she smiled slightly before leaning back against the tree and staring a the man that was once 'Sage'. She had something in her hand, but it was not obvious. She was waiting for something.

Rippuku shook his head. Instead of continuing the conversation, he left. He didn't walk, he didn't run, nor did he jump. He flew. He simply chose a direction at random, and flew. In this case, he chose west.

A pillar of flames erupted a few feet in front of Rippuku, and Seph lazily called up to him, "You might not want to go that way!"

Rippuku didn't stop. He didn't even slow down. Instead, he opened his mouth and let loose a blast of what appeared to be light. The light ripped a hole in the pillar of flame long enough for Rippuku to slip past it. He then sped up, and was soon out of sight.

Fenris sighed, not even noticing anything that was going on anymore as things faded a bit. Colors dulled and her vision became hazy. The threads were not holding everything together right anymore as the acid of a few ruptured organs burned at the rest.
She a cry of pain, she grabbed at one of the spots on her belly before trying to calm herself down.

Seph looked down at Fen, then hopped off his branch. He knelt next to Fen, and a few seconds later, Ijutsu poured from his own fingers and into hers.
He didn't say a word, didn't make eye-contact. When he was through, he stood and made his way back towards the Dojo.
