It was such a beautiful day and Tenma knew it was getting close to time for the academy to let out. It was always amusing to watch the children that came into the ramen shop on the days she worked. Then again, they were also a pain when if that had a particularly quite day in school because of how much bottled up energy was suddenly free to fly. Her academy days had been too numbered for her to recall such reactions to her release. This was also especially odd because, even though it had been two years since her graduation, she was still younger than most of the kids in the academy. Suddenly Tenma smiled when she saw Rhiam joining in with her little stone kicking game. She forgot how nice it was just to walk with someone. “So, I never got a real answer from you back there.” Her voice was calm and content with a hint of amusement from the stone kicking. “Where do you see yourself going from here? And no, going to dinner does not count.”

Rhaim made no noticeable change to his outlook as he continued down the streets. Tenma's question didn't entirely seem all that important to the young shinobi, "Dunno. Where I'm at is more important than where I'm going. I'll end up somewhere eventually."

It truly was a matter that he never thought about unless asked directly. And even then his answer was usually an attempt to avoid the topic altogether. He figured he was too young and inexperienced to be making those kinds of calls just yet. He didn't exactly have full control over everything in his life at all anyhow. It was best for him, in his mind, to just take the days as they came until someone told him to do otherwise.

The idea of the prawns resurfaced in his mind with Tenma's mentioning of dinner again, "And supper always counts. Always."

Tenma nodded as she listened to Rhiam. It was true, one should be more focused on now instead of years down the road when they were so young; but the child had been thrust into maturity over the past few years, so did think quite the same as other’s her age. Though it was a bit sad that she wouldn’t be able to go run about and play without having to worry about the consequences that most never even considered. However, it was just that that made Tenma herself. Then again, that wasn’t always highly appreciated by other people. “You’re right, supper does always count.” A soft smile rest on her lips, but as she continued to think there was a slight subdue in her dancing eyes. She often got like that: the child would look into herself and to the spirit and think. It was how she passed the time typically, but she did remain aware enough to pay attention to Rhiam and continue their rock kicking.

Tenma contemplated a bit as they walked down the road. It was such a beautiful day to be in the water. Then again, if her companion was still his good ‘ol self, Rhiam would be looking for an opportunity to nap soon. Children began running around and the noise level increased considerably as the two continued, so the girl knew she didn’t want to do anything in the city. “Well,” There was a pause as she pondered over what they could possibly do since it had been two years since she had ever had anyone else to take into consideration. “I suppose we could go to the river. There I could either show you how fighting in the water works or you could take that nap that I know you are thinking about; that is, if you have not changed entirely in the past two years.” It had been a while since she had seen him, but she hoped that he hadn’t changed so much as to give up on naps. That would be verging on a crime. “So what technique is it that you are wanting to learn?”

Rhaim let his head pivot from side to side as he watched the people going by as well as some of the shops beginning to prepare to close up for the day. He still kept enough attention on the smaller girl so as not to miss anything she said or suddenly become separated. That had already happened to him once and he wasn't in the mood for that again. The kid certainly did remember a great deal of small things about him. More than he remembered about her. His sisters would definitely try to recruit her for ANBU eventually. Since she had suggested it he locked his head straight ahead again, "The river it is. Hopefully the sun going down doesn't make it too cool."

Her question, though logical, managed to catch the genin off guard, "Huh? Oh um, nothing much. Just something little. I'll have time for it later. It's not something that requires space or anything. I'll probably just work on it in the living room back home before bed."

Tenma’s curiosity suddenly peaked when she noted him avoiding telling her what he was attempting to learn. Then again, if she was really that curious she would simply join him that evening. A little note jotted down in the back of her head to recall that little slip up right there in case she did have a sudden desire to know what he was up to. “The waters should not get too cold. At least not for what I am accustom to. Then again, it is far easier if you are in the water long enough to let yourself go numb; then it really does not matter what the temperature is.” Her voice had that slight hint of vocal thought to is as she attempted to call back the coldest she had ever felt the river. It wouldn’t surprise the young girl if, for the sake of not having to worry about his limbs going numb, the boy opted to wait for a warmer, sunnier day with more time to it. If that turned out to be the case then Tenma would simply meditate while he took the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Either way she was content.

Jomei calmed down at this point as they entered the village. He tensed up as they were approaching his part of the town. He stopped talking to the both of them. He became very sullen as well as he sees children playing on the streets with their parents....their moms and dads. But he remembered that he was with others so he put on another smile as he waited for Rhaim to respond to his question.

Rhaim didn't watch as the overly excitable child bounced around him and Tenma. He merely kept his gaze forward and his pace even with his hands tucked into his pant pockets. The giddy sounds in Jomei's voice were enough of a tell tale as to the boy's disposition. The Nara was glad that Tenma was at least talking with him since she was the better conversationalist of the two of them. After Tenma made her own introduction Rhaim slightly twisted his head back and joined in, "Nara Rhaim. And sorry to disappoint you but we're not students. We graduated a couple years ago."

At the end of his words he brushed up the mop of hair from his forehead to reveal his headband. He then let the brown mess fall back into place and pointed back at the armbands on either of Tenma's arms before replacing his hand in his pocket. As they came deeper into the village he noticed the boy change his emotions rather rapidly and openly. However it wasn't his place to pry.

Tenma found it difficult not to mentally reprimand the boy when his face suddenly went from excited and giddy to sullen and depressed. There a bizarre number of parents out that evening, though the majority of them were gathering their children for the curfew that even they had to abide by. That was always a weird concept for the girl: even though she was only nine she had a later curfew that a large number of adults and all academy students, most of which were older than her. However, she pushed the thoughts aside as they continued down the road, the child feeling particularly dwarfed by the considerably taller males walking with her. Finally she drew back to the group when she noticed that Rhiam had to actually point out her headbands that were completely unobstructed on both arms. So, as they continued on, the decided to spare Rhiam having to talk with the overly emotional Jomei. “So, Jomei, where is it that you are residing?” Tenma was ready to be done with this, so hopefully he didn’t live too far away.

He looked at them and looked around the place. He walked a few steps up and saw the great big puppet theater in town. He pointed at the big theater that read "Bunraku's Theater". He looked over at the both of them and smiled. "This is my house i live on the upper floor." When he heard that they both graduated he became sad again cause he probably wouldnt see them ever again in the future. "Well since your graduated can you help me convince my dad to join the academy....he has.....well......issues with that subject." He looked at the theater one more time seeing its big frame with a red wooden boards and black roof with the letters stretching across the building with a picture of two puppets on each side.

Rhaim continued his following of the other two as they talked, his mind slightly blank. When the child pointed up at the building and indicated that it was his home, the Nara couldn't help but feel as if that made his eclectic actions more understandable. At the boys request he couldn't help but to simply shrug it off. With his hands still deep in his pockets he gave Jomei the same unphased expression, "I'm not going to tell your dad you should be in the Academy. He knows you better than I do."

That being said he turned away from the home prepare to take his leave. However a look over at Tenma quickly stopped him. The genin gave a short sigh and turned back to the back. At the same time he reached into his rear left utility pouch a produced a scroll, "But if you do convince him yourself this might give you a leg up when you get there."

Jomei took the scroll out of Rhaim's hands with excitement but didnt open it. He gave him a smile and bowed to them thanking them for their help and walking into his house on a sprint to tell his dad the great news. He was so excited maybe finally he can become a ninja!

(Sorry, for deleting my post. Thought I posted in the wrong place)

It was another tiring day. A lone baby face girl, with wavy black hair and gold strikes, pale smooth skin, and almond shaped eyes that were ice blue. She wear a blue shirt with short sleeves, black stretch pants, and navy blue sandals. She carried an hacking bag upon her back, walking down though out of the streets and into a clear area. Otome was very tired, she decide to rest against one of the building as she slide down, taking off her shoes, and rubbing her aching feet. she only been in this village for a couple of days, and so far, she hadn't find any job that was hiring at the moment. Plus, she has been homeless for two years, living in a camp tent. Worse part, was that she didn't have any money and spent the last of her money on supplies.

Otome had to figure out a way of what to do next but for now, she was too tired. Leaning her head back against the wall she closed her eyes and fell into slumber.

Tenma, once the boy’s attention shifted, simply sat back and watched the events unfold before her. When Rhiam looked back at her it was nice to see that he seemed to recall her lending him her scroll so he could complete the lessons as well. There was almost a smile when she saw him handing Jomei a scroll, but that quickly faded once the boy randomly ran off. He was a bizarre one and definitely not one for thanking those he placed an inconvenience on. Oh well, nothing that could be done about someone like that; she wasn’t going to complain that he was gone. Nope, no complaining that the overactive, oddly tall, child was gone – at least she didn’t have to worry about being trampled in an excited fit any more. Looking over at Rhiam her lips cocked slightly to the side as she shrugged her shoulders. “Well…he is certainly an…interesting child. I cannot recall any time where I was concerned about being trampled by another person until him.” She didn’t like, not as of so far, and she was just fine with that fact.
