It took quite a bit of time, but Lotus managed to scramble her way to the top. Gaden, however, didn't seem to want to try. "Gaden, if you don't try, you're not going to improve. Please, try. If anything, it'll help take you mind off of your troubles." Robert encouraged. With a small nod, Gaden took a small breath and began to try and climb the boulder.

Robert watched as Gaden worked her hardest to make her way up the boulder. but it wasn't so much that he asked her to do it, or that she wanted to, but mostly to distract her mind from her sorrow. Despite the reason, she felt abandoned by the one that formerly raised her and feared that he would do the same. When she reached the top, she sat herself down, facing away from Robert and Lotus. Robert gave a pat to Gaden's head. "That was very good Gaden. Let's take a little rest, and then we'll try it agian." Lotus chirped and bounced, but Gaden gave no response.

"And the winner is...Lotus!" Robert spoke as he held up Lotus and then sat her in his lap. Gaden was still struggling but eventually forced her way to the top. Although she was stronger now, she was exhausted. "Alright, I know I promised the winner a berry, but you don't mind sharing half a berry, do you Lotus?" Robert asked in a pleasant tone of voice. Lotus chirped and bounced on his lap before padding over and giving Gaden a light nuzzle. "Alright, let's see what berries are in this bag first...." Robert spoke as he looked into the bag.

"Ok, are you girls ready for more training?." Robert asked as he looked at Lotus and Gaden. Lotus was just like an energizer battery, always peppy and ready to go. Gaden just gave a quiet nod. Gaden's personality felt more like that of a goth, but given her circumstances, Robert's couldn't fault her. But at least she was responding to him. Robert carried the girls off of the boulder and headed out to where there were two charred trees with about ten feet between them."Alright girls, I want you both to sprint from one tree to another. now this isn't a contest, so don't push yourselves too hard." Robert spoke with a smile. "And...Go!"
