Nothing in my book. Maybe it's just the shock of having GW model lefties.

Most models are right handed because well, most of the world is. Also, retooling certain parts with a different handedness is too much of an investment and bother. Also, when you mix left and right-handed models in the single squad you get promo pictures where some models will stand with their backs to the camera.

Damn. As in a good and negative way.
Good, because the new models look so damn awesome, specially like the the marine with a broken-helmet-and-skull-peeking. surprised Just one question: the peaked helmet marine next to the skull-peeking marine, is that it´s face? O.O
Negative because I thought they would publish the missing weapon variants that the squad can have, like the melta/plasma guns and lascannon for example. Special weapon is ok and easy to swap, but what about plasmacannon to a metal model? Prepare a bucket and some files gentlemen. ninja

Lady Blodwynn Asmondai Just one question: the peaked helmet marine next to the skull-peeking marine, is that it´s face? O.O Yes, yes it is. gonk The only explanation I can think of is that as the Curse progressed and his body struggled to keep up with the healing, his bones weakened and reformed to the shell of the helmet.

It could've been the effects of the Warp as well, or the undying will of the Emperor himself. They are good looking models though, something to put on my list of future leisure models to work on when I have the money, time and a shelf to put them on. sweatdrop

A sentiment I share for the most part. The Legion of the Damned aren't just put out as a small extra wave release, but also as collectors models, they hold a special place in 40k mythos to say at the very least. Personally I'd just like to get the first sergeant model, maybe swap the axe for a Crozius and turn him into an extra ghastly Chaplain of that Chapter that I keep wanting to work on but utterly fail at due to a lack of creativity. sweatdrop "We have come for you, your life is forfeit.."

I'm...not a big fan of the Legion of the Damned, but the models do look pretty awesome. Maybe I'll get a box just for the bits/to try making them.
---
Eh, I've given up on the "founded off of the Defenders of Mars", and gone with "Tied heavily to Mars, and geared towards defense" for my Marines. This...make any sense?
I'm doing this by having a color scheme being Orange/Red, and changing around the standard companies a bit. 1st is still Elite (though heavy on the Stern Guard), 2-5th are still Battle (though more, ah, specialized then the Codex Astares states.), and 8-10th are still recruit squads (Assault, Devastator, Scout), but 6th becomes a "Sapper" company (Tactical/Scout mix, attempts to deploy first and manipulate the battlefield itself to there advantage) and 7th becomes a "Tech" company (Meaning, among other things, led by the Master of the Forge instead of a Captain and contains a not-so-insignificant amount of Tech Marines).

Fluffwise, you could play them as a fleet based chapter as successors of the Iron Hands. They have a pact with the Adeptus Mechanicus from their "home sector" that they will always come to the aid of the Mechanicus, no matter what the dispute is. Your thought does make sense as a chapter bound to the Mechanicus and the colors represent that well.

Alright, thanks. The Iron Hands are the guys with all the biotech stuck in them, right? I'm not quite sure what a fleet chapter is, but I'm assuming that's one who doesn't have a primary home world, or tends to be on board ships.

They don't have a homeworld for whatever reason. I'm pretty sure that the Dark Angels are a fleet chapter after the destruction of Caliban.

That's....pretty insane. I'm not sure what to do with my fluff for the Fleet Chapter stuff, but I'll look into it. They are not going to have "The Rock", but I'll think up of something that'll bind them together/give them a "home"

'Cause of what was really happening apparently. There are a lot of secrets for them Dark Angels. The most important one for me is when the Lion comes back. I likes him. =D
