Jadens eyes seemed to unfocus for a moment as he crossed into deep thought before snapping back in an instant. "I can't permit you to kill yourself you know." he said as if it was completely obvious.

Jaden continued tracing marks in the table surface with his claws almost unconsciously. "Well I'm sure you still care for the pup, otherwise why would you go and try and kill an immortal?" He looked up at this other man and wondered just how old he really was. He was so fatalistic about everything, humans were supposed to make mistakes, so were parents and so were children. The mistakes were inconsequential "You try and put anything into your head and I'll bind your soul into an object for eternity."

Jaden seemed uninterested at the strange display or sudden addition to the conversation. Instead he continued his little drawing. "Well that goes to show how well you know me then." he muttered slightly. "But then I suppose you're right. Better for a child to grow up without a father than to know she's the daughter of a coward. Of course she could know that anyway... Hmmm... that would really suck." He tilted his head slightly. "You're just making a mess for everyone else you know. How selfish can one hunter get?"

The movement came faster than expected as the irritation snapped in his head. With one hand he grabbed Omki's collar, his claws tearing easily into the material, and yanked him halfway over the table so their faces were only centimeters apart. "That's right..." he hissed to the younger man, having lost only his temper on not his mind thankfully. "I don't care about her at all, So I should let her find out about the man she used to bed down with blowing his own head off after losing a dual with himself. Let her stew in her emotions for months and come back when she feels a hollow space in her soul. I'm sure that's the proper solution to the problem don't you think so?" His eyes were glowing again. The red slowly brightening and piercing into his target like blades.

Jadens face went blank except of his eyes that still burned. Quietly he got up from his seat his grip forcing Omki to do the same and walked out the back door he had used on several occasions, holding the demon hunter just above the ground with his one hand. It was clear that in brute strength few could come close to matching him.
As soon as the door closed behind him Jaden casually threw the hunter into the ally wall. "I choose to be a dog rather than a monster." he said in a cool voice even though his eyes continued to blaze. "If being closer to anyone allows me to stay in control then I would tie myself to them but that never happens. I've already nearly killed Myythren on two separate occasions, I'm sure there will be more, there always are. You seem to be under the delusional state of mind that I am a man. You can drop that now. I am not a man nor am I human, I am not even a Lycan. If you think that I am bound by your miserable notions then you are wrong."

Jaden made no move even though his first instinct was to put his hand through the mans head. It was the wording that he was struggling with now, how do you tell a suicidal that they're life is better than yours? "Loving her or not is beside the point." he said finally. "To be able to grasp a brief moment of happiness with another is worth fighting for. Only six other times in two hundred years have those moments come before me, all eventually broken or unmasked. To know that in the end everything is not going to be alright and that you hurt everyone that comes into contact with you is a living damnation. Do you really want to know what I feel little man? I feel pleasure in the death and pain of others, I feel frightened that those around me will leave me again, I feel sorrow for what I do and how I am, I feel hatred at the way I am treated, I feel contempt for those that think they know me, I feel love for the girl that's gone through so much with and without me, I feel indifference to the changing world, I feel contentment at the weight of your woman cuddled to me in bed, I feel horror at the thought that it will all be lost again." He finally jabbed Omki hard in the shoulder. "That's a start. Want me to regale you with happy tails now or do you want more?"

Jaden sighed and tilted his head slightly. "I love her so much that I find you a far more suitable mate than me." There was another flicker in his eyes, intense revulsion and hatred eclipsed by sorrow and longing. "I don't think there can be more drinks."
