It just takes time for your memories to return. { T }ifa walked back into the kitchen, her fears gone for the moment. She hummed as she went to the oven, only to find that the cookies had already been taken out. She turned it off and looked accusingly at Kade. "I see we have a little cookie monster in our midst!" she said playfully. Thank you for taking the cookies out, but next time let me do it okay? I don't want you to get hurt is all." she said as she resumed getting the ingredients out for the pot pies, she started to chop vegetables as she let the chicken thaw out. {{ooc: btw, when I say gothic, I mean the original Victorian Gothic. Like dramatic candles, lots of lovely silk and satin, maybe some velvet, oooh and can't forget Cloudy's cape. :3}}

Kade merely gave a smile as he walked up, placing a clean hand on the chicken, warmth immediatley thawing the poultry. He crawled to the top of the counter and watched his mother at work. "Momma? Can I help again?" He asked, "I wanna go and beat up that man that scared you outside." He knew he was still alive....and Kade would love to kill Kaze. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

She was about to return to the vegetables, when Kade asked her if he could go after Kaze; she nearly dropped her knife in surprise. "Absolutely not!" she said a little too harshly but she quickly softened her voice. "Oh Kadey, don't worry about him okay? Daddy and I are taking care of it. You shouldn't have to protect mommy." she said giving him a hug. "I should protect you, and that's exactly what I'm going to do." she said with a stern voice. "But you are not to go after that man, okay? I know you're strong, but you're still a kid." she said, looking into his eyes. She wasn't about to let him get hurt again.

To protect the ones she loves
With some fun in between. Shikyo pushed open the doors of the mansion, somehow not dropping anything that was in her arms and almost walked right into her father! That looked like he was going to leave. "Hey Dad." She said as she walked around him and down the hall, into the living room, putting the bags and boxes down in front of one of the chairs before putting the sword she got in the actual chair. She could hear Tifa in the kitchen, something about a man and Kade not going after him, her being curious she went into the kitchen. "Who can't Kade go after?" Since she had never met or even seen Kaze or actually knew what he had done to her mother, if she did know though she would go after him herself and probably decapitate Kaze.
A fighter at heart
Though shy and timid on the outside
She walks the path of danger
Not knowing what's ahead

It just takes time for your memories to return. { T }ifa turned to Shikyo "A horrible man whom Cloud and I are dealing with. So you're not to go after him either." she said in a stern voice. "And Shikyo, I don't want you or Kade to leave the mansion alone okay?" she asked them. She doubted that Kaze would let the buddy system ruin his plans, but it was better than running around the city alone. She turned back to the vegetables "I'm making pot pies for dinner, so don't be late. Invite Shizoku if you want, I think your father would like to get to know him better." she said to Shikyo. She let all of her worries of Kaze disappear for a while as she thought of the wedding. A small, but elegant affair, with a touch of the gothic. She smiled as she counted down the days till the end of the month. It wasn't very long at all, but to her it seemed to be a lifetime.

With some fun in between. "I don't even know who this guy is so I probably won't, it'd be a wild goose chase for me." Though she nodded a bit at her question. "Okay, usually I'm with someone anyway." Or she would just teleport, which was much faster then flying! Though she got a small feeling of guilt when her mother asked if she could invite Shizoku to dinner, her mother would probably be mad when she found out about the things they did in Wutai..."Speaking of Shizoku...Can we have the advise talk sometime later? I might need some tips since things are getting pretty serious..." She was now looking away as she said that, a light blush on her face.

It just takes time for your memories to return. { T }ifa noticed the tone of Shikyo's voice, the blush on her face. She could only guess what Shikyo would want to talk about. "Sure honey. Once I get the filling stewing, then we could chat." Tifa also sensed that it was probably best to have this conversation as soon as possible.

Kade looked at his mother before nodding, accepting the hug as she gave him her reasonings. They generally made sense...not that Kade liked it all too much. Turning to see his sister walking into the room, he gave her a small wave as he continued to sit on the counter, watching his mother cooking dinner. "OOOOOooooooookayeee." He said as he was told not to leave the Mansion. Not that he would anyway....it wasn't like Rose really wanted to see him anyway...she seemed to be kind of mad at him. Plus, he couldn't feel her mind...she was shutting him out. But when Shikyo asked about a private conversation, Kade made a wild guess about what it was referring to and stuck a tongue out in disgust....turning to watch the food cook. ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

"Okay, just make sure chocobo jr over there doesn't easedrop." Shikyo could come up with cute or teasing nicknames all day! Though she stuck her tongue out at Kade in return. "I also want to tell you, awhile ago while I was in Junon I got captured by the scientists and before Rose came to save Kade and I, they had done an experiment. They put some of Kade's blood into me, now sometimes I get this armor like scales." She said, thinking Tifa should know this.

With everything that had happened since she had come back, Shikyo's news was as natural as the sunrise. "Well if any problems turn up because of it, be sure to tell me or Cloud." Tifa said with a smile, she tossed the veggies into the pot and put it on low to let them simmer. "Okay Shikyo, let's go into the other room." she said to the girl. She then gave Kade 'the look' meaning that he was under no circumstances to listen in on their conversation.

Kade merely gave his puppy eyes to his mother as they walked into the other room. Darn. Turning towards the pot, he merely leaned over and continued to watch it, bored as he now had noone to talk to for the moment. But Shikyo and Shizoku were ICKY! ▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§▲§

Shikyo walked out into the other room, slightly smiling at Kade's reaction, it was cute though she knew he'd probably kill her if he was older. Though as she was standing there, she couldn't think of a good or really any conversation starter about her and Shizoku's relationship. "Well...Me and Shizoku are starting to do some stuff..." It was obvious she was uncomfortable about this already, as her face was turning red and she was looking at the ground.

"What kind of stuff Shikyo?" she said in a questioning, yet open voice. She knew that if they were becoming intimate, that she couldn't just yell at her daughter, it wouldn't help anything. She only hoped that Shikyo would be honest with her and take her advice.

"Um..." She didn't know what to say! Tifa would probably be mad if she said her and Shizoku were intimate and probably be worse if she lied. "...We're becoming intimate..." She said in a small voice, knowing she had to be honest or she would be in much more trouble! "Please don't tell Dad for now, knowing him, he wouldn't take the news very well." Since he would probably go after Shizoku with his sword or any of her brothers at that!

"And I suppose you two really love each other?" she asked Shikyo. Already knowing the answer she continued. "I'm upset that you're coming to me after the fact, though I can understand what with me being bedridden; I wasn't exactly available. But I'm putting my foot down now Shikyo." she walked over to Shikyo. "Tonight when your Dad gets home, you will inform him about this, but I guarantee that Shizoku won't have a target on his head. Though I highly suggest that you convince him to talk to Cloud and tell him any plans he has for his future with you. After him and I discuss this, you and I will go down to the clinic and get you set up on birth control." she kissed her daughter on the top of her head. "I'm glad that you've found someone that you love, but I want to make sure that you keep your opportunities in life. I want to see you go to school, have some sort of career. An unplanned child can take those choices away forever." she crossed her arms and looked Shikyo in the eye. "And it probably wasn't the smartest thing for Shizoku to do, agreeing to sleep with you while your Father and I barely know him. But I will say that he seems to be an honest young man, which is the only thing keeping me from finding him myself at this point. Anyway, what's done is done. You and your Father will talk tonight, no complaining." she thought for a moment, thinking she covered most of the situation, then she suddenly remembered. "Oh, and you're grounded until further notice. If Shizoku wishes to see you during that time, tough. Afterwards you two may go out after telling us where you're going, and what time you'll be home, and if Cloud and I accept."
