That's cool. I'm probably not the best person to describe to you all about No Man's Land, but I'm sure you know that's how Gotham is right now (just like the Batman arc in the comics). A new villian named Robert Rodriguez, or Ragnarok, is the biggest threat though. He has done so many genetic experiments that he has armies of his strange creatures he calls Ragnarites that fight for control of Gotham. That's as far as I'll go, I'm pretty much the newest person here besides you, so I'm not the expert. The main point I wanted to make to you is: an easy excuse for your character's entry can be that he was just contacted by the JLA, because a call was just made by them for all of their heroes to help in No Man's Land. So, you came just in time; all the heroes are assembling right now anyway.
