Sage didn't seem to register Fenris' words. Instead, he got up and began to wander into the woods. His mind was 'gone'. Other ways of saying it would be that his mind checked out and didn't leave a contact number. His brain has moved and left no traces. He's out of his mind right now, please leave a message after the beep....

As his body wandered, his mind became embroiled in battle...
((going to do things a little differently for mental post, it's all flavor for anyone who can't read minds. It will be like a normal post, but in italics, instead of italics signifying thoughts.))

The mind scape was changing. What had once been a dark room with some candles for light had split open. It had changed into a battle scarred waste land. There were rocks, and a purple sky overhead. A blue sun shone down upon the landscape, and within the area stood a handful of figures. There was Sage, who looked no different than he did outwardly. The others were as follows...

Logic was dressed in a lab coat. He was tinted green, and wore a pair of glasses. His hair was short, and spikey. His build was thin, and he held himself in an aloof manner.

Lust was dressed in a speedo, and had a pink tint to his entire form. His mouth was kept in a permanent grin. Like that of a madman.

Joy, unlike the others, was a child. He had a permanent happy grin, and could never keep still. His clothes were over sized, and from time to time he would hide in them, then try to surprise one of the others.

Guardian was dressed in full plate mail. This included a blue cape, and a full helm. He carried a lance with him, and a buckler was attached to his other hand. Unlike the others, there was no tail on Guardian.

The Sealed One (hereafter known as Rippuku.) He was buff, to say the least. His hair was a wild tangle, and he stood with his arms crossed. He was dressed in a strange battle armor, which covered his torso, crotch, feet, shins, hands and fore arms. It had shoulder pauldrons, and a parted skirt of armor that reached over his legs. He had an animalistic look to his face. And a smile that would frighten small children (like joy).

The lot of them stood in a crowd. Excepting Guardian and Rippuku. Sage, along with his emotions were watching a battle between the full plated being, and the animalistic fury.
"You will return to your cell and you will stay there. You won't be allowed to control this body!" As he spoke, Guardian stabbed his lance at Rippuku and continued in, intent on bashing the inner demon with his shield when he got close enough.

"No. I'm not going to be sealed away again. He's going to be sealed. I'm taking my life back." As the lance jabbed in towards Rippuku, he turned to the side, and the weapon slid along his breastplate. He reared his left arm up, and slammed his fist into the buckler as it came towards his face. However, the buckler gave way under the power of the fist, and Guardian was sent flying back.

Meanwhile, Sage looked to his emotions, " what's going on? who is that fighting guardian..?"

"It seems that the one sealed in you has broken out...guardian was able to hold him as long as the seals were kept in place...your chakra training loosened them slightly....but the virus was what caused this problem. It seems Rippuku has eaten the virus and used it to shatter the seals holding him back...We're not getting in this fight...it doesn't really matter to us who wins. "

Sage blinked, and looked around to his emotions, " why not? why wouldn't it matter to you? "

"Either way we will serve the controller... So who cares who's in control? Personally, I'm rooting for Rippuku. At least he'll let me do something instead of beating me with a mallet."

As Sage looked back to the battle, he took a step back...

Within Rippuku's grasp was the head of Guardian. Blue blood was drizzling out of the head as he began to crush it in his bare hand. The stump on guardian's corpse that used to be a neck was spurting blue all over the landscape, and the armor was ripped apart. Rippuku laughed evilly, his laughter echoed through the land, and he turned to face Sage, " And now I just have to put you in a box...and I'll have my life back. I'll get to resume what I was doing before that meddlesome old man came along..."
As he spoke, the sky of the mind scape changed. It showed memories, memories that had been sealed with Rippuku. Memories of battles and massacres. Memories of ruthless slayings and battle torn cities.

Sage grabbed his head, and fell to his knees. "no...I can't let you win...If you win you'll start killing people. I'm a healer...I don't kill people. I fix them..."

Rippuku laughed with sadistic glee. He simply held out the hand that still grasped the head of Guardian. A red glow surrounded the fist, and an orb fired forth from it. The orb blasted into Sage, and engulfed him. It trapped his essence within the helmet of guardian, which morphed into a ball shape. Rippuku took this ball, and the mind scape began to change once more.

The mindscape morphed into the throne room of a castle. And Rippuku set the ball containing Sage into the top of the throne. The area was composed of stone, and strewn with corpses. The Throne itself was made of bones, and had large spikes along the sides of the back. The top of the throne (where Sage is stored) has a single, giant spike. It looks as if the entire body of the throne is composed of a giant tooth, or possibly a claw.


As the 'regime change' happened within sage's mind, His body began to undergo a transformation. Or, to be more precise, it was reverting. Sage's body grew 4 inches taller, and it bulked up alot. Anyone who can see the chakra lines of a person would see that his inner working no longer resembled those of humans. It was almost a completely different construction of chakra flow. As well, the wound of fenris's shuriken was healed during the 'transformation'.
((yes seph...your little virus got eated by and evil thing in sage. And yes, This has been a part of Sage since his character creation, back before I even came to Gaia. Just...never got to use it. sweatdrop ))

"You just told him to git, Fen," Reeve says, softly. Odd note to approach on, sure, but...

Rippuku grinned, "Rippuku is my name. Now tell me where the nearest city is and I won't have to start a forest fire to find it. " With his posture, and the tone of his voice, His statement would carry weight. If he wasn't told what he wanted, he would back up his threat.
